This place was actually really good. The girl at the counter was happy with a friendly face. My gf and I are traveling and like to find different spots to try out. This is the only one so far that lived up to it’s reviews. Thanks for a great cup of coffee and the friendly service :)

What an awesome establishment! Still warm from the oven blueberry and raspberry & white chocolate scones were fabulous. We had fair trade Jasmine green tea and the Island mocha. We will definitely return!

Saw all the great Unilocal reviews and drove here to give it a shot. Tried the honey white chocolate raspberry latte which was delicious. Friend had a black coffee which he enjoyed. I had the raspberry scone and he had the Asiago cheese cheese bagel. Scone was great but the bagel was freaking amazing. He offered me a bite and I took the whole half to his dismay lol. Driving back Tomm morning to get a bagel before we leave!

Quaint place in an area that was filled with beach folks enjoying loud music and adult beverages. My wife had a chocolate coffee and I had a large coffee. My wife’s drink is one she always orders from Starbucks. She says that the version from Wake Up is much better. I will say my coffee was great as well. We ended up staying in the establishment for a couple of hours, using their Internet. The owner (she had to be the owner as hard as she worked) was very friendly to everyone who came into the place. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting SSI.

What an amazing place! Can’t believe I’ve missed it on previous trips. Great coffee, delicious pastries /food items, plus a solid vibe/ambiance inside… not to mention the back patio with a view of the marsh. And the wifi is free and fast. I enjoyed 3 perfect lattes and some incredible cranberry scones during my weekend on SSII. Can’t wait to go back. Nothing fancy (a positive, IMO), just by FAR the best coffee on the island — not even close.

Recently wondered into this coffee shop looking for some coffee. The barista was a friendly person, and the coffee was equal to or better than Starbucks. Prices are above average. I have purchased better tasting coffee at a small, yet similar, coffee shop in Macon, GA. Still, it is the best coffee I have had on Saint Simons island. If I stayed here longer, I would go back to try other menu items. I would give this sop a try if you are looking for coffee.

Wake Up is forever and always my favorite. I dream of their Chai Lattes and Scones. Make it dirty with a shot of espresso and order it to stay in one of their adorable personalized mugs. Look around at the cute homemade international items in the front while it is being prepared, and then take your delicious beverage and sweet treat out the back door to the tables in the back and sit along the peaceful marsh. Perfect way to start the day.

Cozy little roaster/coffee shop. They roast in the back and offer a wide variety of different coffee’s in the front. You can order regular drip coffee, or pour over, aero-press, etc. Great way to really get to know your coffee!
Plenty of ample seating and even a back patio outside, shaded by old coastal trees.
This place was a super friendly, clean, cozy place to enjoy a coffee and talk with friends, as we waiting out a thunderstorm, then went to the nearby airport and flew our Blackhawk Helicopter back to Savannah.
