This place is good for what it is — a 24⁄7 quick service establishment. The servers are always friendly(no matter what time of day or night) and the food isn’t bad. Things are a bit cleaner her than you’d see in similar places. Definitely worth a stop if you’re on a long drive and need a boost.

I bet back in the day this place was good if not great. This is basicaly just a oldschool dinerThe food was not that good, and the service was not great. I guess the locals must like it, because I don’t understand how there still in business. I don’t want to be mean, but they could so much better. just a little better quality produce and try to do something diffrent then the same old same old.

Great food, generous portions. Not a huge menu selection, but what they do, they do very well.

Yummy yummy. My theory on bad reviews it hat I only write them if I tried to resolve my complaint with the business and still wasn’t happy… That being said this place was packed when we came in and I was not disappointed. If your around this place stop in and give them a chance!!! :)

Food was delicious, service was great. Tiffany really made me feel at home. Great exemplar of a small town Southern eatery.

This used to be a really good place to eat and I admit its been a few years since we have eaten here but for Gods sake! Its called the Omelet Shoppe! Not the plain egg omelet folded over over the onions, ham and green pepper and topped with a cold slice of American cheese! My wife could only eat a small portion of it before giving up on it! At least the OJ and hash browns were good, come on guys, hire a cook that can make a real Omelet like you used to! Hope it gets better soon!

1st time we were in an Omelet Shoppe, it was next to the motel, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent waitress. Wonderfull western omelet 24hrs/day — they had dinner entres too. We’ll try the one near our home soon.

I’m not a food snob, but they don’t serve omelets. They serve scrambled eggs(containing flour) over stir-fried meats and veggies. Which is fine, except mine gave me severe food poisoning that lasted for days. Thanks Omelet Shoppe! The drive back to MA was awesome.

Stopped off here a while ago. Took a picture, but didn’t «review». Very nice place. I recommend it. Good food also.

I have been going here for 20+ years. I love Donna! She was pleasant and a delight. We would hit this place any weekend like folks hit the millionaires club down in Roanoke.(via Texas Tevern) The sweetest ice tea in town. The best OS burger. It is a dying breed. No yelling out orders across the room. And no booming jukebox! The pecan waffle is the best. Pass that good steak if you have sodium issues. Use to be real butter in the containers. No longer. Good coffee! Bathrooms are A OK. Don’t order a salad in a late night, breakfast place. Menu has changed over the last two decades but the heart survives! This is NOT the waffle house this is THE omelet shoppe! Not slop but good, really good food. Late night or early morning… Or any time of day. WIFI finally! enjoy because I do!

silver dollar pancakes are called«wagon wheels» down here– I asked the snaggle-toothed waitress why, but she didnt know. Next time I want answers. Fittingly, we stopped here at 330, The utensils came in a plastic bag– yet where metal and dull. About 12 other people were in their too, kids, old men, and just when I thought I left Brooklyn– oh yes– an Asian girl/White boy walked in. So the 14 of us ate our non-omelets with slight banter. I asked her why it was so crowded– she said morning rush. And since when do scary locals bring down the rating? youre just eating and leaving, never to see them again– its their environment– its like the park rule– bring out what you bring in– ie. dont disturb local vegetation.

Perhaps it was just the fact that smoking was allowed in the entire place, but I felt like the ‘Meh. I’ve experienced better’ that goes with the 2-star rating explains my feelings exactly. The locals scared me a bit, but maybe it’s just the south in general that does that. It seems like all the food there is frozen or pre-made and they just heat it up. Apparently the chili is made there, but we didn’t try it.
