some people are snobs about buffets but i like their variety. Popular especially for kids this place rocks. good variety of salads and meats like ham roast beef or meatloaf and always 2 types of chicken and fish and desserts are not bad had cheesecake yesterday. also cotton candy is new for kids recommended by local dentists too!!!

This is the worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life and not worth even 1 dollar. No I’m not one of those annoying white soccer moms who leave bad reviews just bc I was treated with the insane respect I think I deserve, I too am a normal person. This buffet is the classic example of what low income communities are forced to eat bc of their limited options. This buffet is filth total garbage. Although if you don’t care for taste, consistency, or even meal selection this is the right place for you! Seriously tho this place is horrible this was the worst meal of my life and k wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy, actually I would recommend it to someone I want to feel physically ill. Anyways have a nice day! Try Denny’s or somewhere like that and save your self a ton of money and your well being.

Service was ok, the waiter kept our table free of cluttered plates. The food was really nasty it had no flavor, it also looked as if it had been sitting out all day… I don’t see myself ever going back.

Haven’t had a good buffet at a reasonable price in a long time, until today. We went for lunch. The prices for adults were very reasonable. The food was fresh and changed out if it sat too long. There was a very fair amount of items to choose from. The desserts were outstanding! My favorite item however, was the personal homemade chicken pot pies. So good yum! The flavor was great, the crust was flakes, delicious. Friendly staff too. My only 2 dislikes were #1, they charge for 2 and 3 year olds. Not much, but still… Who does that one buffets? And #2 and more importantly, the bathroom was nasty. My 3 year old had to potty so I took him and after that I felt like he needed to be washed from head to toe. The toilets were rusty and condensation was on the metal parts, the soap dispenser didn’t work, the floor and walls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. So bottom line, of you eat here, avoid the restrooms or you’ll no longer her be hungry! I’m going to just assume that the staff has a bathroom in the back with a working soap dispenser, otherwise I couldn’t consider the food to be good and would have to give a much lower rating!

I’ll give it 5 stars for the price and the fact that it’s not a fancy buffet and I knew that. Good food nice and hot, great bread rolls, delicious desserts, only 30 $ for 3 of us. Quick service removing plates very friendly staff. For a simple buffet it’s a good place, if you expect more go somewhere fancier and pay for it.

The the was okay but they really need to keep an eye on the food area. Two managers were there but just came out for a second. First a boy wiped the mashed potatoes off the spoon then licked his finger and did it again. Before one of the managers came out to tell I saw a grown woman do it also! There is always issues like this at this s one. No one watches. We won’t eat there again!

This location is the best one so far. They have Waldorf salad, cottage cheese, applesauce and pineapple chunks. I’m so happy they have Sprite Zero. A lot of places don’t realize that patrons have a need to drink non caffeine and also sugar free drinks. Haven’t been here in some years but I am so happy to be back. Great service and friendly staff

When you have your two mini nieces with totally different picky palates you bring them here so they have a variety to choose from and I know there will be SOMETHING that each if them will eat, drink and have for dessert and leave with a very full tummy!

Price is reasonable, the food is edible except for the salad bar. Their veggies are not very fresh and their variety is lame. The carpet is extremely filthy.

I wish Monterey had this restaurant. I was there for lunch. Since I live in Monterey, I don’t get there very often. I was impressed with the buffet. I loved the choices of salads. I hit the taco bar, then the main course. They had some delicious stuffing and gravy. I tried a little pan that had a sort of beef pot roast in it. It was delicious and the waiter told me it was something new they were trying. I ended the meal with ice cream and passed on all the nice desserts they had to offer. I will certainly go back there again.

Breakfast is good. The daughter & Grand daughters love the lcee’s. The soup’s are good as well. Somedays are better then others. They could tend to the restrooms more often. Over all good place, decent price.

Decent safe location near the Salinas Mall. This town is quite ghetto but nobody attacked me. Lots of security around the Mall too. Food is typical Hometown. I enjoy a decent salad the way I like it. Love to pick and choose sometimes. I’m good for 6 months now.

Wow, don’t know where to start. We haven’t been here for at least 20 years. But we were next door at Micheal’s and thought ok we’ll try it. Big mistake! We were here at lunch time so we asked for their lunch. Which was 6. 50 I think. Then they asked if we wanted the«all pass drink bar» huh? Drinks are no longer included in your meal. So yea we were thirsty, we’ll take 2 of those. Our bill came out to 22.20? Dang how much are those drinks and they don’t even serve alcohol. We head out to where the food is to check it out and the first 2 plates we picked up were dirty. Dug through the pile to find a couple of clean ones and went on to look at the food they had to offer. Everything looked old and horrible. I’ve seen better looking cafeteria food. Their selection was very limited too. We couldn’t find anything worthy of eating so we left and got our money refunded. Please avoid this place, it was just HORRIBLE!

I can’t not believe how good this food was. My family went here for lunch and it cost our family of 6, $ 41.00. I did not care that they did not refresh the coke when it ran out, but besides that everything was great. The employees were constantly refreshing the food and picking up the dirty plates. It is great that kids eat for 99 cents on Thursday

I don’t quite know where to start. Yes I do! Where I should have turned around, gone out the door, got in my car, and drove somewhere(anywhere) else. The filthy, disgusting, restroom. I should know better! I broke my own rule #1! If the bathroom is gross, leave! Immediately! So. Didn’t leave. My bad. Instead, stayed and tried to eat the following: Deep fried fish, 1 bite, spit it out. Fried kielbasa, 1 piece, yummy.(Spoiler alert: that was my whole meal) Sauerkraut, 1 bite, cold. How do you serve delicious, piping hot kielbasa with cold, greasy sauerkraut in the same pan? Baked potato, 2 bites, yep stone cold, butter wouldn’t even melt. Sauté green beans, 2 beans, mushy and stringy at the same time??? Chicken noodle soup, 1 sip, made from instant broth, no chicken in sight(probably for the best) Pasta, 1 bite, gummy pasta with white salty sauce and mushy broccoli(I hope) particles. Mac and cheese, pleasepleaseplease let it not suck I’m hungry! Cold, flaccid, gooey in a bad way. Chewy tortilla chips, lumpy nacho cheese sauce, greasy taco meat, dry chicken, mealy mashed potatoes(at least they were hot), flavorless desserts and lukewarm coffee. We came here for lunch because my friend had eaten here a couple of times last year with her mom and they’d both enjoyed it. My friend couldn’t believe the decline in the quality and freshness of the food, and the filthy restroom. She actually apologized for bringing us there. Wow. Just wow.

I only came here for the BOGO breakfast. Prices for breakfast: Adult breakfast: $ 6.69 Unlimited drinks: $ 2.19 The drinks was not worth it. I should’ve gotten water. The food is meh. The lame olde pancakes, fried triangle hash browns, white gravy, ham, fruit, bacon. Blah blah blah. Oh there is a taco bar… breakfast of champions? Omelete station took an crazy amount of time to make. The poor guy only has 2 skillets for all of Salinas and they weren’t even gas ones! I’d do the BOGO breakfast again if I were too lazy to make lunch and dinner. lol. Not a bad deal really.
