It’s fast food hot dogs! What more can you ask for? Service and speed is always top notch here. 3 stars because this place is in major need of an update. It just looks plain dirty!

Son wanted hot dogs… so we came for the hot dogs. Everything was served quick, tasted aright. Staff was nice, place was pretty clean. No high chairs for kids. Ice cream was good and they have a different special everyday. Quite a unique almost throw-back establishment. Was fun and different.

Used to love this place. Then they wouldn’t take old coupons like they did before. With luck, you can get discount prices for breakfast, but only if the same clerk waits on you. Prices always see-saw up and down, taxes wrong in the afternoon. Now prices have changed again, they’re too expensive for the smallest items.

Late night indulging snack for the fam! I like the convenience of the drive through. The girl in the window was really nice and had a big smile even at this late hour. Made me happy to be there. They can never do a chili dog wrong :)

Beware! This place is shady and overcharges customers full price on discount and special items. Took my coupon and charged me regular price. When I asked, the clerk said coupon is not accepted and can I can take coupon back. Why take coupon if you don’t apply discount? I got a refund after being persistent. Be aware!

Chili on your wieners! Weird huh. Okay… moving on. This is drunk fast food at best. The Chili cheese is salty, the«hot dogs» … yeah I’ve had better. If your in a bind and are in a hurry, its an okay spot to keep your hunger pains at bay. The only thing I enjoyed here was the corn dogs and I will just leave it at that. Enjoy the wieners in the buns. lol

This place is awesome, especially if you live out of town or out of state. I lived in Virgina for a while and missed this place. There isn’t a place like this anywhere. You have to try the chili cheese fries and the hotdogs… of course! Oh by the way, pick a weekend newspaper, if your in town for the week they always have coupons for this place which saves you a few bucks…

A kid favorite that does not break the wallet. 79 cent corn dogs that seem always fresh, newly remodeled on the inside. Fast and polite service also.

As with Shiho’s 1st review… they open early for a wiener place. We visited early in the morning(before 10am) for breakfast before heading up to Laguna Seca for this year’s MOTOGP race. Breakfast was: — Large Mountain Dew — Kraut Dog — French Toast Dips — Mini Corn Dogs Loved it. And no. I didn’t have to use the port-o-potty for #2 at the track. phewwww!!! Service was quick n prompt, we were the only ones in there at that time. Moments after my cousin and I ordered, there was a suspicious and crazy lady that walked in. I think she liked my cousin! What a whack job. LOL! They were jet-washing the roof… possibily for a new paint job! NICE! Bathroom door didn’t lock though… so no 5-stars! LOL!

If I go to Salinas it is usually to go to Weinerschnitzels. Now I may only go a few times a year but everytime I go it puts a smile on my face. I’ve gone twice this year and both times I had to run errands in Salinas and they are open when I’m whizzing through at 10am and they are happy to serve me some sausage. Chili Dog(don’t need the cheese although tasty) and a Mustard Dog(that I ask them to add Ketchup, lots of catsup…). If I had more time or if it was anytime near my lunch hour(which is around 3 or 4pm) I would have perhaps gotten some chili cheese fries, a deluxe burger and corn dog. Sic… I know… but I’m fond of all kinds of food. I’ve tried Kaiseki-cuisine in Kyoto and had food where Geishas used to work(most Japanese people don’t even get to try this stuff) but I appreciate taco/hamburger carts in Tijuana, whole in the wall Chinese restaurants in the city with the Peking Duck(or so you think) is hanging on the walls. I am unpretentious and just say it how I feel. I’m not ashamed to say that I hear Wienerschnitzels. I really do.
