Bill Miller Bar-B-Q

Soooo driving through the great state of Texas as I have many times before and decided to find the best BBQ off I-​10 and this was highly rated. I have to say that I’m a little disappointed. They are friendly, facilities are normal and not dirty which are positives. However the taste of the food was not what I expected. I’ve had amazing Texas Barbecue so my hopes were high, taste buds ready, but it was more like the cafeteria food at an old folks home. Bland… it was cooked fine bit bland and not seasoned as I was expecting. Maybe there is more than one type of Texas barbecue? Also the portions were tiny. And bland… When my order came out on a tiny styrofoam tray it reminded me of an public elementary school tray & I thought it wasn’t my order and told the girl it was a mistake & not mine. When she confirmed what I ordered I was disappointed to find out the kiddie tray was mine. Did I mention it was bland?! even the sweet tea wasn’t hardly sweetened! :-/​So anyways it was a pretty big let down.

My boyfriend and I stop here every once in awhile for breakfast on our way into downtown. The service is always quick and the portions they give you are much more generous than other Bill Miller locations. I like their breakfast tacos and usually order a potato, bacon and egg (The potato they use is their hashbrowns so it’s very flavorful). I do wish that their salsa was better, but they’re a bbq restaurant so I’ll give them a break on that. Bill Miller breakfast tacos are a little more expensive than other restaurants serving similar items, but I’m happy with the price and taste. Our breakfast bill is usually around $ 9 for the two of us (that includes tacos and drinks). P. S. I noticed that this location just started selling cherry cobbler in addition to their normal peach cobbler.

Located off of probandt and Hwy 90, location is ideal for Dining in. The Drive Thru is fast and the Customer Service is really good. The breakfast Tacos are really Good !!! Stop by if your in the Area next time

I get breakfast tacos here a lot and they’re probably the most efficient drive thru I’ve ever experienced.
