Nice little gastropub. Had the burger with cheddar, bacon, and egg, burgfection. Also ordered the caprese pizza. Loved the crunchy basil, no sauce to take away from the freshness of the other ingredients, and the balsamic drizzle brought everything together. Definitely worth the visit!

I’ve come here several times and each occasion is better than the last. Every meal is fresh and clearly made from scratch. You simply must try the mussels. This evening prompted me to write a review because the bartender Edie was superb. So knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish. We tried drinks we would have never tried and had a great time meeting some regulars. Thank you knife and fork for another great night!

I don’t know what Greg E is talking about. The nachos were on point. As were the truffle fries and the brisket tacos. The food at Brasato Gastro Pub is high end but if you’re looking for TGI Friday’s or Chilis everyday crap you might not understand the quality of the food. Good stuff. I will be back. Today I got to watch the Cowboys stick it in the Superbowl champs while enjoying great food and beverages. I plan to make this my Sunday football spot.

I was in San Antonio to visit friends and had the chance to stop by Evil Olive Elixer Lounge for a drink and eat at Brasato Gastro Pub — the restaurant inside. I ordered the pork banh mi and the smoked fried wings and they were both delicious! My girlfriend ordered the adult chicken tenders which were crispy and flavorful, and the homemade ranch was a nice surprise. Overall, this is a great place to stop in and grab some elevated bar food at a good value.

Brasato Gastro Pup is located inside Evil Olive Elixir Lounge. Rick has farmed out the kitchen again. T We had the brisket nachos last night. These are nothing like when the kitchen was in house. The description is thin chips, aged Monterrey Jack, chopped brisket and house made BBQ sauce. What we got was thin chip(lots), clump of refried black beans, cheddar cheese, dollops of crema(?), thin sliced dry lean brisket, and some BBQ sauce. Lots of tasteless packaged stuff thrown together. No smoke ring or flavor to the«brisket». Really it was more like roast beef than brisket. The sauce was the only thing that had any flavor at all, and very little of that. We had a burger last week and again, boring tasteless beef. We’ll try something else next time but so far, the new cook is a miss. The value is also a bust, $ 10 for chips and about a quarter pound of «brisket».
