I was at this location on May 29. While waiting, I noticed they had an automatic tortilla maker up front. While I was placing my order I noticed some flies flying around the restaurant and one landed on the uncovered dough balls of flour tortillas ready to be made. After placing my order, I waited while the food was being made and watched as the tortillas were being made and making their way down the maker to the awaiting tray. I noticed several tortillas landed on the machine itself and one landed on the FLOOR! I thought well, that’s the price of automation, you’re going to lose some in the process… I thought wrong. An employee actually picked up all the tortillas off the dirty machine and the FLOOR and put them all together in a pile to be served for the next batch of customers! GROSS, TOTALLYPUTMEOFFTHISRESTAURANT. Wish I had my phone with me to record this taking place.

The restaurant has the most horrifyingly BAD website I have had the misfortune to encounter in a long time. All I want to do is: 1. Locate my nearest store’s FULL menu. 2. Find price for fajitas. That’s it. That’s all I want. Maybe it is not iPad compatible, but I have fiddled around with this crap website for a good 10 minutes and can not find the price for a family order of fajitas at my corner TC to save my miserable, starving life. Suck it, Taco Cabana.

If you ever go to this location and order sopapillas make sure you have strong teeth! I have complained about it before directly to them but they seem to not care. They need rob teach their staff how to cook properly.

There are those days, dear friends, when all you want is a $ 1.50 margarita and some chips with queso. The queso, is creamy with a bit of spice. The margaritas come in two flavors, lime or strawberry. Feeling adventurous? Get both! In a swirl that is. Get an individual, or share a pitcher. For those naysayers that say TCs is not real Mexican food… you may be right. BUT! Happy Hour is not to be trifled with. And if you’ve had a long day, or week, it gets the job done. And is friendly to your wallet.

I have to say over the years Taco Cabana has lost it. Back when I first started going to Taco Cabana in 2001 the food was excellent, now I said to say I would rather go to Taco Bell than Taco Cabana. No Mas for Taco Cabana any more.

The lady on the register was pretty rude, we ordered our food and forgot 2 entrees, she came to our tables checking on our reciepts, guess she thought we wanted free food or something, but the reality was that she did not do her job right and treated us pretty rude.

Waited 15 minutes to get our food but the restaurant was empty. Our food was cold except for the lettuce and avocado, they were warm. We sat by a window and had to move because it was full of flies. There was flies in the salsa bar also. The food was really disgusting we barely finished a taco and left the rest of the plate untouched. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else.

Never fails, they consistently leave items YOU’VEPAIDFOR out of your bag. Luckily, I checked before I left the parking lot today, sure enough… missing guac, queso and chips, just like old times.

2nd visit here. Both times ordered a chicken fajita bowl, both times I said no beans or bean paste(sorry don’t know the proper lingo). Both times they put the nasty bean paste on it. How flipping hard is it!!? It ruins the entire bowl(for me anyway, maybe bean paste is your thing). Such a waste of $ 5. This location will never get my business again.

Not so bueno tonight… Staff seemed hurried despite not being crowded No ice in soda dispenser and they doled it out as if it were gold No carbonation in soda machine. Not sure any of staff understood… or even cared… Flautas lukewark at best as if they had been sitting in warming bin for 20 to 30 minutes. Would rather know they only had flat warm sodas and lukewarm food before i plunk down $ 20.I would have walked over to Whataburger instead.

For fast food, this place is always good. Everything is made fresh. You can see them cooking the meat and making tortillas. The Marquita’s are good and really cheap. My favorite is the cabana bowls. The chicken flautas are great also. The breakfast tacos are ok.

Most visits food is usually pretty good when the beef fajitas are not rushed. But the staff seems like a bunch of Cluster F*cks!

Although they messed up my drive thru order, they fixed it right away with no hesitation or questions asked. Mike and the manager frank have the best customer service attitude. Totally amazing experience and will come back again.

Good Tex-Mex food. Prices and menu has changed in the last couple months. Offer a military discount. Clean, friendly employees, great place for cheap margaritas. Unilocal Star Rating 5 stars: I loved it. Will be back and bring others to try it. 4 stars: I liked it. Will be back and suggest others to give it a try. 3 stars: It was good. Will be back but there was something that wasn’t just right. 2 stars: It was okay. Would return if others wanted to but won’t drive far. 1 star: Will not be returning.

I will never eat at this taco cabana since they police their desolate parking lot all hours of the night in case someone from 54th street parks there. I never got my car towed or even parked there, but I drive the extra 5 minutes to the one on potranco and 1604 to avoid the parking nazis. Plus, this one always messed up my order before hand. I have never had a good experience at this one.

I had just closed up at work, went to this TC’s impulsively and decided to order inside. The service was speedy and my cashier was chipper and surprisingly in a good mood for 11:30 at night. My order was correct and I waited only 8 min for 2 entrees. Probably service I’ve received at a taco.cabana. Great job!

I LOVE me some Mexican food!!! And this place boasts two of my all time favorites… tacos and margaritas! Where shall I begin… there were so many great things! As you walk in, they have a nice selection of beers and margaritas both regular and strawberry. They give you the option for sugar or salt on the rim and many different sizes including a liter option! The strawberry margarita was sweet and delicious with the perfect amount of liquor and that sugar on the rim was delicious! They make fresh tortilla right before your eyes. And anything you choose is made is made to order. Some menu options include tacos both chicken and beef, nachos, burritos and taco salads. I tried the tacos which were delicious packed with lots of meat, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. They were delicious! The meat was flavorful and hot, and the toppings were very fresh. There is also a salsa bar inside which has several different varieties including a salsa ranch which was my favorite! But you can load up with as much salsa as you want and even some some delicious jalapenos. A much better option than Taco Bell, a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for and this place is totally worth it. Delicious! I’m only sorry they don’t have one where I live!

Lately I have had really bad drive through experiences. I am a die hard cabana fan but my experiences with food and service have made me re-think my love for the brand. Last night for example, we were supposed to get the last order of flautas(7:30 pm) but when I opened my bag at home there were no flautas. The person at the drive thru was rather rude. I asked for a large salsa and she said well let me see if I have any???
