Cam and I came here to grab a bite to eat before our flight since we were at the airport an hour and a half before our flight. There weren’t too many people in line and there were a lot of different snacks and drinks to choose from. All of the sandwiches were pre-made, so that goes to show you the quality of breakfast, but with few options available, we opted to just stop here. I’m a fan of warm breakfasts so if I can get a breakfast sandwich I will, but in this case, it would have been better to stick with a pastry and coffee. Breakfast Panini with Egg, Bacon, and Cheddar. Steamed«egg» patties? Check. Microwaved«bacon»? Check. Dry bread? Check. Everything you ever imagined an airport breakfast sandwich to be in real life. Overpriced at $ 6.50 per sandwich, you’ll have an unsatisfying airport meal to make it to your next stop. Or, you can just grab a muffin and coffee for just as much and grab a real meal in your destination city. Lemon Poppyseed Muffin. This actually wasn’t that bad. Cam and I really liked splitting this because the top was tasty for me and the inside was quite moist for Cam. We saved this to eat it on the plane and if United’s coffee wasn’t so atrocious, this actually would have been a nice breakfast. Overall, not a great place to spend your money. I’m not sure what the coffee is like, but you’re probably better off going to Starbucks where they have quality control over their food since they’re a well known franchise.

One the few breakfast options in terminal 2. Egg and cheese panini is uninspiring at best. Dry white bread with no spread to save it. At least it isn’t too expensive ~$ 5

Terrible!!! Never again! 50 cents for an extra cream cheese with my bagel? The cream cheese they gave me was tiny. Then they had no plates to put my bagel on! Ridiculous.

I purchased MmmmPop! at your San Diego airport location. The Kickin Key Lime flavor, 1.25ounces with an expiration date of 12/17/2015 for $ 4.10. The popcorn was stale and for $ 4 I feel I got ripped off. I love popcorn and was excited about bringing it on my flight to NYC along with my alcoholic beverage. I was extremely disappointed you would sell a product that isn’t edible. Your quote outside your store claims that we should be enjoying healthy food that tastes good… it’s disappointing you don’t follow through on your mission. Your trail mix met was delicious, and met the expectations. But I feel I got ripped off with your popcorn. I understand it’s a vendor product, and I would suggest someone contact MmmmPop! and give them some feedback. Thank you

Great service! They were accommodating when it came to requests. They open at 5am, which is great for early morning flyers like myself. It’s one of the few breakfast options on this side of the terminal.

Ew, pass. Wish I had checked Unilocal.I wanted to try something different while I waited to meet my friend, but the turkey and Brie sandwich I had was barely edible. I probably would not have even finished it if I had not just gotten off a plane and was starving. Service was good but, not coming back. Also pricey, but it is the airport.

This little gem is hidden between the Peets & the Starbucks… and since I prefer to throw my money at the underdog this has been my go to in Terminal 2. The coffee is awesome. Need I say more? The egg sandwich is not bad considering.

This«food company» was recommended by a travel company(United) employee, who informed me that it was the only place in Terminal 2 that made sandwiches from scratch. The chicken-avocado sandwich looked like the optimal choice, but it was more expensive($ 10.26, including tax), less plentiful and much less good than the analogous item at Klein’s Deli in SFO. What’s a traveler to do? In Dulles Airport this stand would rate a «3». But this is California, where things are supposed to taste good. I declare that I have experienced better. More precisely, I experienced better while eating a Klein’s sandwich on my way down to SAN.

This place is a gong show to get your order. Would be easily fixed if they would just take names with orders!

I visited here when at the airport waiting for a flight. I was really hoping for a tasty sandwich and it was ok, but I didn’t have the easiest time ordering. The ordering area was confusing as people were standing at various locations at the counter ordering. Not sure if this happens all of the time, but did when I was there and trying to figure out who was actually last in line. Then, I ordered two identical sandwiches and also let the person ringing me up that I had two items… I was still not charged correctly, which took longer than I would have anticipated to fix. Also, the person at the register seemed really irritated that she didn’t hear me explain what I ordered and also didn’t hear the person making the sandwiches either(who also told her what I had ordered). The bags they put the food in were tiny and just generally an unfriendly staff. Food was decent.

Ok given the limited choices available at the airport this is not a bad choice. While $ 10 for a sandwich seems a little pricey, the sandwich is actually a pretty good sandwich. The ingredients are fresh the bread is good and the service is courteous.

After perusing the airport options for food, I went here to grab a couple of things for the long cross country flight I had to Boston. I went with the turkey sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, and the chicken/avocado sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was pretty standard, nothing special and came on sourdough – I wanted to get the healthier sandwich but the eggs omelettes are premade and had mushrooms in them, which I am not a huge fan of. The chicken/avocado sandwich was actually pretty tasty and would be my recommendation if you had to grab something here – though it came with a price tag of nearly $ 10. Overall, the service here was sufficient, though it did take them a bit of time to get my sandwiches prepared. I would recommend going for one of the lunch sandwiches rather than the breakfast sandwiches because it will be fresher. Not a bad option as far as airport food goes.

Eh. Nothing to brag about at all. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The eggs tasted like they came from an elementary school café. I do not recommend their sandwiches. Go for the packaged stuff. Yeah, I know that sounds terrible. But for real– save your taste buds.

Bought bagel, muffin and water. Obviously it was overpriced. On top of that, I waited 20 minutes to get my bagel. When I tried to grab the bagel as it came out, the employee just handed it to ppl who ordered after me. When I tried to talk to people who were making sandwiches/making bagel– got ignored. When I told the cashier I haven’t gotten my bagel yet, she said she«remembers us» but gave a dirty look when we told them we were waiting on an everything bagel. Go to peets or starbucks.

San Diego, California– We try to steer clear of airport food but in a rush and after having to skip a meal it suddenly becomes an option. I wasn’t excited about the choices until I came across this spot. I started at the salad bar but the lettuce looked bad… and smelled bad. Gross. I questioned my decision to even dine here but when I saw they had fresh made sandwiches and I looked at the ingredients at their prep station, they looked good. I ordered a toasted veggie sandwich. The onions, red peppers, and zucchini were nicely cooked together and fresh, cool, tomatoes and cucumbers were added. Michal and I both liked the crafted-to-order warm sandwich.

We were in a hurry to get to our gate and stopped in. I’m glad to have a place that has healthier options. We grabbed 3 sandwiches, banana, coffee, and an evian. Evian is my favorite water. So you actually get a star for that. Not many places carry that. However the food was tasteless. It was burnt yet the cheese wasn’t melted all the way. The coffee tasted really tart. I wasn’t a fan.

As most people we were in a hurry at the airport. Their Business Practice must hope people get on the plane without checking their sandeich. Wifes sandwich had the apple ends which most people toss…$ 30 bucks for two sandeiched and chips and this is what u get…

If you’re hungry in the SD airport, don’t eat here. Although the service was fast & friendly, the lack of quality ingredients and the half-assed attempt at the hands of the employees making my sandwich is enough to overshadow anything positive about this place. I thought the Brie & turkey panini sounded good, so I got that. First off, their«panini» is just white bread with toasted lines on it. It’s dry, thin, and served as the worst vessel ever for food. Second, they left out the crisp apples. Third, they did not cut the sandwich in half all the way — the surface was merely broken into. So what I ended up with was a messy, over-condimented sandwich that I had difficulty eating because it kept falling apart. Pretty soon, there was nothing left of the bottom slice of the poor man’s panini bread but mushy blobs. $ 9NOT well spent.

When you want more than Starbucks and healthier options, this is the place to grab and go. Variety is the spice of life, and this place has it all: 1. Make your own salads. 2. Yogurt pretzels, dried apricots, nuts, and chips. 3. Bagels, brownies, & crumb cake. 4. Sandwiches, Barcelona chocolate, lollipops, & candy. 5. Specialty teas, waters, & juices. The blonde brownie has hazelnut and the chocolate brownie had huge chocolate chips. The guy behind the counter let us sample both. I preferred the blonde brownie. We decided on the crumb cake which was thick, moist, and drizzled with caramel. Sooo tummy and created airplane envy when I busted that out. Service was great in this slow night. He was chatty, made some recommendations, and wished us a great trip. All available fast & ready to take on the plane, and that what matters in the airport.
