Pretty quick service compared to Starbucks and better quality tea. The almond croissant wasn’t particularly good though.

Early morning flight called for coffee. Peets was the 1st place you’ll past when you get in terminal 2. Service was quick and friendly. They have a couple tables with chairs just outside their store to lounge which was nice instead of sitting in main waiting area. I ordered my typical iced mocha(cuz I couldn’t seem to read the menu fast enough or it wasn’t making sense — too early) and blueberry muffin. Coffee was strong and delicious and blueberry muffin was ok. Also ordered an orange juice and pumpkin bread for the hubby. The pumpkin bread had raisins and we’re not too fond of the raisins on the bread. Pastry selection is slim and is the only thing lacking for this location.

(4) ~ very good overall coffee & service. Peet’s Coffee is a very good representation of West Coast Coffee, which is dark & bold:)

I was surprised to see that most of the reviews are positive for this peets location. I had a bad experience here. I tried to order what I thought was an espresso blend of regular coffee. The barista served me a shot of espresso and I then explained that I misunderstood the menu, and rudely dumped the shot out behind her. She then served me a regular cup of coffee, but put the lid directly on the seam of the cup, causing coffee to drip on me with every sip. I’m not sure if this was intentional or not, but I have to believe it is. I just don’t buy that you are a coffee barista but you«didn’t know» that putting the lid over the cup seam causes drips. Coffee is decent but Starbucks is better IMO. I wouldn’t go back.

It’s not every day that you see a Starbucks vacate and a Peet’s Coffee take its place. It’s a nice little change of pace if you don’t often have the chance to enjoy a cup of Peet’s. I realize coffee connoisseurs avoid establishments such as this but when you grew up on the sludge that I drank in my younger years this stuff is still well worthy of elevating my morning pulse. And I dare to say I enjoy Peet’s. The medium blend is always fresh and tasty. The employees here are consistently nice and do an efficient job even when the customer line lengthens a bit. They happily extend the courtesy of a discount if you hand them something refillable. That’s me, the nerd with the Contigo thermos!

As a frequent traveler, I need my morning coffee. With Starbucks on every block in every city, it just makes it easy to stay loyal. After all, I have an app for that! So when I saw Starbucks would no longer be in the American terminal, I was not happy. However, for several flights over the last several months I have gotten to get my coffee served with a smile because of Yvette. She might be the only one that can manage to put a smile on my face before I get my morning coffee. Peets has good latte’s, but hiring Yvette is what will keep the business coming.

I’m a frequent Monday morning traveler and kudos to your Monday morning crew. There are always the same two girls working and ALWAYS have a smile on their face. Makes a 6:30am flight that much more bearable. Thanks ladies!

Nobody likes to be in the airport at 6:00, but the staff at this Peet’s help make it bearable. Everyone is always cheerful, and not the fake cheerful, but the kind that seems to come from actually enjoying your job. I’m not even a big coffee drinker but I stop here every time I fly out of this terminal because it’s always such a pleasant experience.

Say what you want about corporations, but when you want consistency, look no further. When I saw Peet’s at the airport I knew exactly what I was in for, which has always been a decent product compiled with a warm employee/customer interaction. In all honesty there really isn’t a whole lot to say except you get what you’d expect at a bit of an inflated price — an airport standard. For me it was a cup of hot coffee, black. It’s the same cup of coffee every damn time, just swap out the location. How does that saying go? The names and faces change, but that coffee still stays the same. Oh, that saying doesn’t exist? Well, just call me the Albert Einstein/Jon Bön Jovi of coffee quotes then.

Ordered 2 lattes for my husband snd myself at airport Peet’s. Both drinks were incorrect sizes(larger than ordered). When I asked for a refund between what I ordered and the larger sizes, I had to speak to the manager who had to get into Fort Knox to get me my refund. It took over 10 minutes for the process. Starbucks would have given a complete refund or a voucher for next time.

Soy latte! Delicious and perfect for the morning start! They also have almond lattes… for anyone that doesn’t dig the soy! The service was fast and friendly! Much appreciated for people on the go!

Can’t say enough good things about Yvette! I was in no mood to travel be she made me laugh the entire time! You could tell that she is the type of person who loves talking to new people all day and having fun! Great chick! I had the blonde brownie and it was delicious!

Stopped here for a quick coffee between flights. Got a javiva swirl because I was feeling some sugar. The ladies working were quick, efficient, and helpful — since I’d never been here before the girl helping me was quick to explain what a javiva even was. My drink was made quickly and served ice cold. It’s a fabulous blend of mocha and coffee. Absolutely the most delicious coffee drink I’ve had in a long time.

My barista was nice, my order filled quick but my Chai tea tasted very very dirty. I doubt that I would ever order from Peet ’ s again.

The girls here move fast and the coffee is great. Pannikin has the best tasting coffee but for a quick roast on the go, this is my spot.

Pretty good coffee. So much better than the national chain that everyone seems to like. The problem I had was the service. At 6 am in a busy airport you would think they would pay more attention to the customers. Two of the three people behind the counter were just chatting with each other and ignoring the customers. When I finally got them to pay attention, he asked if I had given my order yet. How could I have given my order when you were just goofing around? Try to take your job seriously. But, the coffee was really good.

There’s not much to say about an airline coffee shop. I love that it isn’t starbucks! haha… This location always seems pretty crowded as it is one of the first storefronts you see when you exit security. With that said, the staff does a pretty good job taking and filling orders with a limited staff. I’ve never had to wait a super long time for my regular coffee, and the self service bar is always well stocked. I haven’t eaten any of their food yet so I can’t comment on it, but for coffee, PEETS the PLACE

This was my first experience with Peet’s, as the nearest SB has shut down and was always may place of choice for the pre-flight caffeine. I readily admit that being a coffee snob had me a little apprehensive at first when trying something different. I was greeted by a friendly employee and promptly ordered an Americano. It was out in a flash and served HOT, as a good cup of joe should be. Not only was it hot, I must say I was impressed with the flavor. I have no problem making this my new spot for pre-flight caffeine. It’s conveniently located at the«B» gates and in close proximity to some decent places to grab some pre-flight grub as well. An A-OK experience.

With the prices getting out of sight at Starbuck’s I started looking for alternates. Found this place and thought I’d try it and I’m glad I did. My daily latte was priced much lower. Service was fast and friendly.

This location in Terminal 2 at the SAN airport is better than the Starbux. Shorter wait, friendlier staff, overall better experience. I’m usually a Starbux drinker but the wait at the small mall-like booth is just too crowded for me. The wait there is a good 20 min. The cashier today, Yvette, was super friendly and answered questions about drinks I wasn’t familiar with. I waited not even 5 minutes for my drink. There were prob about 2 ppl in front of me when I ordered. They can get pretty busy here in the rush travel hours, but I haven’t purchased anything during those times. Overall, great service and pretty delicious coffee.
