My almost-​daily coffee fix. It’s in the lobby of an ugly Irvine Co. building full of business suites. The nearby fountain and the constant overhead jets from Miramar make conversation difficult, but the location is fantastic (just steps from my office). The coffee’s good and the service is spectacular. The server (whose name escapes me) always remembers my drink and serves it with a smile. Bonus: you can set up a tab in advance. They take cards for orders over $ 5, so order two drinks at once, get something extra fancy or bring cash.
