We were in Sand Diego for the day and stayed at the marriot right downtown. I had a craving for spaghetti so we walked into Little Italy and went here for dinner. I got the spaghetti with meat sauce, my husband got the 2 slices of pizza and a soda. Buffalo bbq and chicken bbq. When we got back to our hotel and got to eat our food I was slightly disappointed. It was good for cheap spaghetti but not great. My husband loved! I obviously should have gotten pizza. I wouldn’t recommend the spaghetti.

Been to this place 3 times this week! Have yet to have something I didn’t like. The guys inside are awesome and so is the food! I wish I lived here because I would be a regular here. The price is just right as well! Might be back for dinner tonight lol

Best pizza that we had all weekend! Our flight got in around 10pm on a Thursday night, so we were looking for a place to eat in close proximity to our hotel which is how we came across this gem. I had a slice of Leonardo and pepperoni. Crispy thin crust, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Can’t beat a cheap slice of pizza that is THATGOOD! The service was just okay. I think they were getting ready to close(maybe?) so perhaps that was why, but the guy at the register wasn’t very friendly so that was a bit disheartening so that’s my reasoning behind 4 stars instead of 5. We’ll definitely be back, though!

the pizza slices are not that fresh. They didn’t taste that great. The prices are pricy for a slice of pizza($ 3.50 per slice). Not worth it

Great late night pizza by the slice. Still open when everything else was closing at 11. Quick service and greasy, but not too greasy. Got 2 pepperoni slices to share, had a few bites, but my husband inhaled the rest. Easy parking on a Saturday night in Little Italy.

The BESTSLICE since bread slices. Because I eat Landini’s pizza at least 3 days a week, I felt it High Times I gave them a badass review. First off, Landini’s is the only place you can get a real slice of pie in Little Italy. Others only serve a traditional personal pie or Napizza’s $ 9 -$ 12 gluten free interpretation. It’s a thin slice with a crunchy crust, great ingrediants. A+ on those next day hangover cold slice from last nights whole pie order. Happy Hour and Lunch Specials have kept me an avid fan of Landini’s all day!

Prices are not bad for food quantity. Also it did not take too long to receive our spaghetti considering we went on a Saturday night. I like how they make the pizzas right in front of you.

Let me preface this by saying that I’m one of those people that think that the crust is the best part of a pizza. Okay. Moving right along, I thought that the crust here was too greasy and dry at the same time, and there wasn’t enough sauce on the pizza. And let me tell you, I usually order«less sauce» and even I thought there wasn’t enough sauce on this guy. I ordered the deep dish because I love thick crust pizzas, but this just wasn’t very good. It felt like an afterthought at best, and unfortunately the pizza was so greasy I had a stomachache later in the day. My boyfriend experienced the same with the thinner crust pizzas, which he had two slices of. All in all, I just didn’t think it was amazing. I think the pizza at Regent’s Pizzeria was better, and I was disappointed :(

A nice little spot to get your late night grub on while exploring the streets of Little Italy. Every city seems to have its late night pizza joint. It all comes down to quality and taste, and I’d say Landini’s is a competitor with the best of them. Their options are limited depending on time and day, but rest assured that whatever they are serving it is worth it. I ordered two massive slices — one of pesto and one of pepperoni. I was prepared to consume these like a rabid animal on the street. Fortunately, they have a large back patio where you can chow down to your hearts content. The folks behind the counter weren’t especially friendly or fun, but then again I didn’t come here to strike up a conversation.

Real deal for this pizza snob from NY. It’s a go to place when you need late night eats and when you are in proximity to the airport. It’s 15 minutes to wait for a Sicilian. I suggest you call it in, it’s worth it for the corner piece. My favorite is anything with the ricotta which is so smooth and creamy. It’s right u there with Bronx, but with easier parking after 9pm. Little Italy shuts down and spots open up. Quick friendly service and ready pack salads are in the beverage cooler.

Ordered delivery from our hotel which was just at the edge of their delivery radius. The quoted time was pretty long… Over an hour. It was a holiday weekend Saturday night so this was acceptable to me. The delivery girl showed up on a bike in under an hour to my delight and the pizza was hot. We ordered the Ponte Vecchio which I think the guy on the phone said goes by a different name but basically it had sausage pepperoni and a bunch of veggies. Wow it was tasty! Just writing this review is making me want to go to San Diego and order another one. My bf is a bit discerning when it comes to pizza… maybe because he’s from the east coast. Well suffice to say he was very pleased and loved it. Fyi it is foldable pizza!

Hungry at the hotel late at night in SD? This place delivers, and fairly quickly. We got a variety of items and all were good. Spaghetti sauce nice and thick, they made a good salad. But no bread or rolls with salads and pasta dinners. Bad boys… For that they lose a star! The pizza is the best thing on the menu, I say you stick to it. They sell by the slice, which is handy when you’re traipsing around Little Italy and do not want to carry that bigass box around.

Like the Ninja Turtles would say«It’s Pizza Time». Yes you can say my two youngest are like little ninja’s in training in the sense that they are fast, hyper, sneaky, and their love for Pizza is immense. And after a morning of sightseeing, pizza is what they wanted, so we headed to Landini’s in Little Italy to partake in their thin, crispy, cheesy, hot, and just about one of the best tasting Pizza’s we have had. And yes my kiddos approved and just about devoured their 2 slices in a blink of an eye. Normally me and my youngest split a special at other places, but here I had to purchase my own two slices as he greedily and happily devoured his. The place had plenty of room inside but the best seat of the house is located out back in their spacious yet cozy patio with yes a television so you can enjoy a game or two, as this place also offers a nice selection of beers and yes even wine. The employees are super friendly as well, which makes it an even more enjoyable pizza eating experience.

Came here with a bunch of friends after a long day at crssd fest. I had the spinach and ricotta pizza and got to try some of the pastas that my friends got. The pizza was a little bit greasy but overall tastes good. The pasta in general was a little on the saltier side but the flavors were all there. Service was good and there was still a huge line at around 8:30 pm on a Sunday night.

I dont remember much of when I came here on Thursday. All I know is I was surprised they were still open at 1am. To be honest I dont remember what time I came here at. It was cool tho. And we sat outside drinking our pizzas. I mean eating our pizza. I dont remember if it was good or bad, but im gonna say it was good. The price… ill have to look through my visa records and see what I paid for. Well then again I dont remember how many slices I bought. You know what just came to my mind… sushi pizza. Hmmmm Well sorry guys I know im probably writing one of the most useless reviews but its not as useless as … I dont know you tell me. as useless as what?

We walked all over the place perusing menu’s in Little Italy. Unilocal was actually not much help because almost every place had a four star rating! Well we stumbled upon Landini’s and were captivated by the pizza I saw other patrons dining on outside of the joint. Then I saw the 2 slices and a soda for $ 6.99 and I said“‘SOLD”. I had the combo pizza and something called the Leonardo, both were thin crust crispy goodness with good flavors. My wife had the Carbonara with spaghetti $ 9 which was a huge portion of creamy bacon goodness. My daughter had the broccoli and chicken penne with sundried tomatoes. This pasta was equally good and we couldn’t even finish it all. Our only complaint was the inside area of Landini’s is pretty darn hot since the place is small there is no way to escape all of the heat from the ovens. The food was great here and you get a whole lot for your money. Landini’s is a great choice for a tasty and affordable meal.

I really don’t know how I missed it since I’ve eaten here on more than a few occasions but, here’s my long overdue review. If your in the Little Italy area or not. This is that one pizza joint that’s a must. The end…

A fairly standard Italian place in Little Italy. Being one of the few vegan-friendly locations in San Diego’s Little Italy, I decided to give Landidi’s a try. The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s fairly small inside with limited seating. The patio was closed. They offer pizza, pasta and a few other basic Italian dinner options. Daiya«cheese» can be substituted for $ 3 extra. They had one vegan pizza listed with artichokes, spinach, onions, olives and tomatoes. I gave that a try. Since it was already $ 18, I did not add Daiya cheese. The pizza was okay, but it seemed like a great Italian dough/sauce combination was wasted when vegetables were just seemingly thrown on top. The toppings slid off and it didn’t take long for the dough to become very soggy. At least the size of the pizza made up for the things mentioned above. The service was mediocre at best. They clearly don’t specialize in vegan pizza and there was a lot of confusion with how to make the pizza. They kept asking if I wanted cheese or if I had a «severe» dairy allergy. My friend ordered a pesto pasta. She liked it, but my pizza didn’t come out for at least ten minutes after hers. I sat and waited patiently. It was very noisy while eating. Two patrons were fighting and you could hear some workers yelling at each other too. I asked for a carry home box for the leftover pizza and a man behind the counter asked for the pizza. He proceeded to shove the slices onto paper plates and into a big paper bag, nearly dropping the pizza in the process. Italians may be known more for their food than their service, but I wasn’t thrilled in either aspect from Landidi’s. The food was just okay and the service swayed on the sloppy side.

Meh, not the best and definitely not the worst… This place has a great location right in the heart of little Italy. The appeal here is primarily the pizza, as it is pre-made, quick and ready to eat after hearing it up. The pizza actually tastes pretty solid. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Florentine panini with a flavored Pellegrino. The price was not too bad at $ 7, but the service and expeditious nature of the order was subpar IMHO. It took probably 20 mins for this panini to out, which to me is ok as long as it tastes awesome. That wasn’t the case, this was just an average panini with an average flavor. Nothing all that impressive. I would just stick to pizza at this place and be on your way… Pros– Pizza Location Selection Cons– Service attentiveness Taste Panini Prosciutto taste Promptness
