This is my go to spot for breakfasts when catching an early flight out of SD. Quick, friendly service, and reasonably priced(relatively speaking for airport food).

Would expect better, faster service in an airport restaurant. Took 10 minutes to get a menu. Now have been waiting longer than that to pay. I have a flight to catch lady.

Should have read the reviews. Ordered a Manhattan before the skirt steak… Steak was a bit like school or airline food — well it is an airport. When the bill came the drink was $ 17.62! Not that great. Try somewhere else.

It is spacious and inviting in the middle of San Diego airport. I was starving and had a bison burger at the bar. The women working there were all speaking in another language very loudly to one another which I thought was quite unprofessional, but I was the only customer in the place so they probably didn’t give a care.

A decent sit-down spot to grab a bite in the airport. A little pricey, which is expected, and a limited menu, but still a regular stop in my flights out of San Diego. More spacious than many of the other offerings so it’s not like you are sitting in your neighbor’s lap. The elbow room alone makes this a good spot. They also have a nice bar with plenty of TVs to help pass the time.

I had an hour before my flight so colleague and I decided to stop by here. Our waitress was friendly and the food was delivered within about 10 minutes. I ordered the power burger and french fries. The bun looked beautiful but when I picked up the burger it felt like the bun was filled with air! It quickly deflated to a third the size and became really squishy. I ordered the buffalo patties and they were fairly tasty but the burger didn’t have enough flavor so I had to doused it with catch up. The french fries were decent but nothing special. For the price, I expected more. However, like Jerry Seinfeld once said, airport store/restaurant owners haven’t ever left the airport so they have no clue what the prices are like in the rest of the world!

Lousy service due to ill distribution of staff responsibilities. I left after having waited by the bar for 5min and not getting served because the guy at the bar was very busy. Meanwhile, 2 – 3 servers were standing around. But since I wanted to do take out, the servers were not allowed to help me.

This is supposed to be a bar but look at Manhattan at crazy price. I ordered up and it’s really a third of a Manhattan. Don’t think the bartender knows anything other than wine or beer. I ordered burger medium and it came well done and dry. But I guess it is the airport. Very disappointing. Had a great meal at legal seafood in Boston Logan airport where they DO know how to fix a Manhattan.

This was a really great place for being an airport café. My guy and I had about an hour and a half in the San Diego airport and because he loves golf, I said let’s try the PGA tour grill. We checked out the menu and it looked great. We started out with the mozzarella flatbread and it was just terrific. They could’ve cut it into a few more pieces than four, but I can’t complain! My guy was kind of full because he had already eaten lunch so I ordered the power salad. This came with quinoa, edamame, Pinenuts, red grapes, and butter lettuce all and a fantastic vinaigrette. It was phenomenal and it filled me up so much. It was the perfect thing to have when you knew that you wouldn’t be eating dinner that night. It filled me up for the rest of the night and it was just fabulous. The service was very good with one woman taking our order and bringing us our food and another waitress refilling our drinks. The football game was on many different TVs so this is a great place to pass time while waiting for your flight. I’ll definitely be back as I’ll be spending a lot of time in San Diego this year!

17 dollar margarita was terrible. AVOID. Way too sweet, could barely taste any tequila. Turns out they put Jose Cuervo in the drink when they specified Maestro Dobel on the menu. Stone Brewing across the hall has a delicious house margarita. Go there instead.

Came here while traveling through SAN. Nice atmosphere with a stocked bar. Service was quick and the waitress was nice enough. We had the black and blue flatbread, chipotle chicken sandwich and a Caesar salad. Food was so-so. The flat bread tastes as if it had just been pulled from a freezer and the meat on it was SUPER chewy — kinda weirded me out. The salad was good, had all fresh ingredients. The chicken sandwich was also good but they forgot avocado on it which was a bummer.

So far the service is about as good as an anal cavity search while going though airport security. My food review will be coming up… ok the food came and it was great so I am changing the food review to a 4 of 5 stars but the service still sucked. Had the burger and wife had the quesadilla. Both were very good and nice presentation. Need someone that speaks fluent English in an international airport.

Service was pretty quick and responsive and I like the chipotle chicken sandwich. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy. Quick and easy meal before a flight.

Do not come here if you want good customer service. The bartender was as rude as could be and service was slow. Terrible attitude I can’t believe these people were hired to work on customer service. Visited 12:30 on 10⁄11.

Pretty good food. Much better service than the restaurant across the way. We went 15 minutes unnoticed and finally left. We were greeted immediately here. I’m not a fan of breakfast and their menu is limited, but they had no problems serving me me toast and bacon, which is not on the menu. Very accommodating.

Awesome looking bar with the huge wall portrait of Torrey Pines golf course. Fully stocked and trendy looking, right near the Virgin terminal in T2. Service was fast at the bar, however the pours were shady. We both got sculpin($ 8) and there was too much head and we felt like we got cheated off probably 3 – 4 sips. Hey don’t judge! This comes in handy when your flying because you need that good buzz. Hahaha.

Awesome place. Stopped in in route to Newark international. Had the Steak and Eggs. Prepared just as I liked it preparded. Quiet atmosphere even though tv and sports are all over the wall. It is a cool spot to come chill. Especially if your leaving out gate 35 lile myself. I pass through this airport often. But first time out a gate this end. I can definitely see myself coming back through this place Friendly bar tender and social able. Knows how to keep you laughing if you want conversation I vote you check them out if you at the airport.

Located in terminal 2, the wait staff is extremely friendly. I ordered a beer and burger to pass the time before my flight. Nice selection of beers on rap. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of room with a lot of outlets to charge electronics. Burger was pretty good. Fries were also good. A nice place for some above decent food at the airport.

Was here for an early flight, United employees are great when they refuse to let you in the club because you’re not flying international first… Uhhhh Okay… So I came here, great location in the airport, super great bar staff, good beers on tap, and good food. I was very impressed, the staff made it a great experience, and the food was good, if you are ever at SAN roll in and try a beer and a bite, tasty goodness.

I volunteered to get bumped off a US Airways flight and had a few hours to kill so I decided to try PGA Tour Grill, a new spot in the terminal, which touted healthy options. I was seated in a booth that had outlets built in — nice! I appreciate airport dining that understands the needs of travelers who need to work instead of just getting drunk during layovers. I ordered the blackened salmon sandwich which was dressed with mango salsa and upgraded to a caesar salad for my side. The salmon was overcooked and the bread was stale. The mango salsa was tasty however and I was grateful to have something to try to compensate for the dryness of the fish. The caesar dressing tasted bottled and I kind of hate that they went with a fancy, instead of practical, presentation. I lingered for over an hour knocking out emails and the waitstaff was extremely kind and accommodating. All in all, not the worst choice, especially for a meal on the lighter side, but I’m not likely to seek it out again. Be Awesome ~ chase
