Truly outstanding. Among the best sandwich shops I’ve found in San Diego. The venue is just ok, but you don’t care because of how good the food is. The Spicy Tuna on Vietnamese baguette may be the best sandwich I’ve had in my lifetime.

This was an old standard when I worked down Mira Mesa. It’s a reliable place with some very unique food options. The best way to describe Wich Addiction is that it’s a sit down gourmet food truck. Beef and Cheddar — Reviewing the menu I was completely undecided. My body was telling me to eat beef so I caved in and ordered this sandwich. When I got to work, I heaved the heavy togo clam on my desk and opened it up. From an appearance perspective it was a pile of beef in between a garlic toasted roll. There was no cheddar actually in the sandwich to my surprise, only a container of something like a thick sauce of some sort. I added the sauce and chomped down. What I was eating was delicious, but the sauce was actually a cheddar cheese roux. Very different, and I suspect a few people would rather of had some melted Tillamook cheese on top. This flour based sauce grew on me the more I ate of it. It was different and unexpected. Something that I don’t get that often. The Beef was great too. — Some menu items are hit or miss. If you order a dud on your first trip, you should give it one more shot.

I have been a fan of this place for a while now. My go to place for great sandwiches!!! This time around, we had an office meeting catered by Wich Addiction. 14-boxed lunches; Turkey, Roast Beef, and Fried Chicken sandwiches. Cesear and Greek salad. Box lunches were perfect, apple, dessert and their awesome chips! I didnt get a picture, just odd to do it during a formal business meeting. Will order again! Delivery was quick, the guy was very nice.(sorry I didnt get your name).

This is an update on me finally trying the BLT. The BLT here is DELICIOUS. Still a bit messy to eat but I don’t mind it on this one because all the flavors that mixed in here is perfect. The bacon is thick which is always great when you’re a bacon lover and more importantly a BLT lover. I ordered it a bit earlier so I didn’t get the lunch rush, so it was not that hot but if I got it fresh to order, I bet it would have tasted waaaay more delicious. I am very satisfied with myself for finally getting the BLT. Will be getting the BLT for my lunches!

Delicious sandwiches in the middle of a business area in Mira Mesa. Get here on time because they close around 2:30pm on the weekdays. This place gets packed during the busy lunch hours and parking may be limited at times. Think ahead and order online or call in to avoid the wait. I tried the Chimichurri Steak sandwich and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich. I ordered house chips to go with the sandwiches. The chicken meat was juicy and tender with flavor, but the Chimichurri Steak sandwich won me over. The steak was good but the Chimichurri sauce made it better. High quality sandwiches with lots of flavor. When I come by for lunch next time, I want to try either the Shrimp Po’boy or Turkey Pesto. I’ll definitely call in my order to save some time. I want to try their breakfast items too. Definitely adding this spot on my list for brunch. They even have bottomless mimosas for brunch.

Really solid restaurant! Unfortunately, for me they are open during normal work business hours and I work far away! The time I did go was when they were open on a Saturday morning(I don’t think they do anymore). There was a decent amount of people, but not much of a wait which was awesome. Ordering was simple, we just walked to the counter and placed our order which they later brought out. Had the Poutine, Eggs Benedict, and an order of Deviled Eggs. All were pretty decent, my only regret was that the fries were already kind of soggy and sitting in the gravy did not help it too much! Overall it was delicious, and I would totally visit again if I could.

The footprint of this store is awkward and small. During lunch the wait time is incredibly long and crowded. I’ve been there 3 times and all three were slow, no bathroom either. I like the sandwiches but everything else is wrong with this location. One tip I can suggest is to instruct the cooks to prepare the orders for people in the lobby first, then proceed to call ins. Another customer and I waited 30 mins and we were only ones there, it turns out they were making food that had been called in the whole time we thought they were taking care of us. The guy ahead of me had to cancel his order because of the ridiculous time elapsed, yeah that bad!

YOOOO these sandwiches are no joke and my go-to spot for a sandwich since I work around the area. I got the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Wich Sandwich, and it was a party in my mouth. Saved some leftovers for later and when i bit into it the chicken was STILL crispy. whaaaaaatt how is that possible. Wasn’t soggy at all. Potato salad is kind of flavorless as a side, i could do without it. i recommend going for their homemade chips instead. All of their sandwiches are packed with flavor. I also really liked the House Roasted Turkey Wich Sandwich, which comes with jalapeño aioli and pepper jack, tomato, onions, lettuce and turkey of course.

I love this place ! Conveniently on Mira Mesa Blvd, close by the Sorrento business area. Did not really expect much from this location, but everything was delicious ! I tried the blueberry pancakes with lemon and that was so good! But a slice of that was enough. I also had some of my friends Canadian bacon Benedict and that was great as well. If I was to come back I would get that. Also the French toast was good, but I probably would not come back for that. I also has the corned beef hash, it was really good but too rich for brunch in my preference, I really hit food coma afterwords. Parking was plentiful, and service was topnotch! Can’t wait to be back !

OHMYGOSH my breakfast love will never be the same. I came here for a Sunday brunch after a long birthday celebration weekend at Disneyland, and I will never regret it! This place is kind of small, but it’s in a business district and it’s easy to miss. But I’ve been eyeing it for a while, I just never had a chance to get my foot in! I’ve already come a few times, and the food here is remarkable. It can get a bit pricey if you order enough, but the portions of food that they give you is humongous, worth it, and I’m always so full after I leave. A full tummy is a happy one! The customer service is great, too. I think the owner also rolls around and helps with tables and people’s orders, and he is soooooooo friendly. He came in to check on our big party a couple times through breakfast, and we really appreciated it. And the bottomless mimosas? Pffffff, I can’t argue with that.(Especially if it’s strawberry.) 5 stars and more if I could!!!

I crave Wich Addiction at least once a month. They make high quality sandwiches for a reasonable price. I like to come at 11:30 — 11:45 to beat the lunch crowds(this is not a tip! everyone else keep coming at 12pm!!). On a cooler day, I prefer to sit outside as it gets quite noisy inside. The sandwiches are all unique and come with a side of your choice. My favorite is the house roasted turkey with a side of baby greens. The turkey looks fresh cut, not like the prepackaged kind you can buy at the store. What really makes this sandwich delicious is the jalapeño aoili– I wish I could dip everything in it. I do wish they made the sandwich a little less oily on the outside. I have also tried their sunday brunch, which was tasty, but nothing too impressive, I will probably just stick to lunch. If you find yourself becoming a regular here, it’s definitely worth it to start a stamp card! I have claimed a few free sandwiches now… which means I probably eat here too much…

If you are planning to go for a long run or super workout after a meal then eat here first. Their menu items are very different from other sandwich/salad places which is probably why most come here. There are not many«healthy» selections here. I wanted chicken but I just saw buttermilk fried chicken. I ended up with a turkey on sourdough that comes with a side of salad. Although the sandwich was very tasty, my fingers were dripping with some yummy shiny stuff(oil? — grease). The portions are plentiful and the price reflects it.

This place is just amazing. We went for my birthday for their unlimited mimosa brunch. we got there early, at like 8:30 am. Place was empty, but that didn’t last too long. Met one of the owners, she was hilarious. Their options for mixes were all so good, for mimosas. Our group had 6 people, we sat outside. They have gluten free options, wish they had GF bread, may bring my own their sandwiched looked great. They make their own kimchi and it is to die for. Service was great, all of the food was amazing, and drinks kept pouring. they had a wait and they didn’t try to kick us out or anything and for that we appreciated it and compensated with a great tip, we were there until about 11am. then we went across the street to green flash. And they do not take reservations.

Amazing service coupled with amazing food! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Chef and owner Diane made a point to greet us and chatted with us – LOVE hearing success stories of small family owned businesses who find their niche and are able to grow & thrive! The food is absolutely finger licking good and we will definitely be back. Seriously, each plate that came out of the kitchen looked so mouth watering good I wished that I could have sampled it all! We tried the special of the day — pancakes of Happiness(best pancakes we’ve ever had, served hot with a maple & bacon concoction– mm mm Good, plus their Eggs Benedict, also seriously delicious!). Place is kinda cramped, but since the atmosphere is relaxed & casual, patrons don’t seem to mind. Love that it’s pet friendly too!

Was looking for something tasty around work for lunch, was over the usual Sandwich Emporium and near by taco shops till I found this Lil gem nearby. I was nnnoot disappointed! I highly suggest their House Turkey sandwich & The New England Spicy Tuna Sub. I seriously have never had a more delicious sandwich in my life! Oh! And for sides get the pasta salads, the others are mediocre.

I had a training to go to in San Diego this week so when it came time for lunch I had to look on Unilocal to see where I should go. Wich Addiction was high on that list and nearby our sister office, so off we went. It’s in a commercial business area with plentiful parking. Once inside, the brightly colored chalkboard menu took me by surprise. I was literally a deer in headlights. There were so many different choices! I opted for the Philly cheesesteak with a variety of peppers. When asked about my included side, I didn’t know what to pick. They offer housemade chips, potato salad, green salad, or pasta salad. For an extra $ 2, you could have fries as your side. I also grabbed an organic tea and lemonade bottled drink from the fridge($ 3). They asked if I wanted to eat there are take it to go. Since I was there with some coworkers, we ate at the café. They serve the sandwiches on white ceramic plates. My sandwich came out on a soft French roll with a slew of chips. The thinly sliced steak was tender and the peppers complimented the sandwich well. The cheese was melted and gooey. I was in foodie heaven. I really wish that we had a place like this closer to our office in Irvine, but I’ll be happy to revisit if I’m ever in SD for work again.

This place has become a regular for me. I’ve been here for lunch, but most often I come here for brunch! This place is great for brunch because of the great food, friendly staff, and of course bottomless mimosas! I’ve never had a jalapeño mimosa before until I came here and it was surprisingly really good. It had a great spicy after taste and is a great choice from the typical sweet mimosa. I’ve tried their Crab Wich, Spicy Tuna Sandwich, Corn Beef Hash, and Crab Cake Benedict. Every one of them was delicious and filling. Their Hashes are pretty huge and can be shared. It can get a little busy during the weekdays for lunch since its located in a business park. Brunch isn’t too bad. They also have a patio area so you can bring your pup too! My husband can live off of sandwiches and this is one of his top choices for a sandwich in San Diego.

Oddly enough, I came to Wich Addiction for breakfast, rather than lunch, so I ordered one of their three egg scrambles, the Applewood Smoke Bacon, which came with tomatoes Provolone, plus two additional vegetables of your choice. I choose mushrooms and roasted red peppers. The meal also came with breakfast potatoes and a single slice of toast for $ 8.75. I was a little disappointed that the scramble came with only one slice of toast, partly because it was served with an excellent house made jam. Two slices would make sense, one to eat with the meal and the over to savor the jam with. Anyways, I ordered the rye toast and was lightly toasted, with a light spread of butter, and tasted quite good as rye bread goes. The scramble was very nice. The eggs were well scrambled and seasoned. The scramble came with more than enough Applewood Bacon, which tasted great and had a nice texture. It was not that crispy, but more chewy. The mushroom and red peppers were very flavorful and the provolone cheese was well melted and quite gooey. However, I would suggest they spread it around a bit over the scramble because it was plopped right smack in the middle. The potatoes were good via their preparation and had a nice eye pleasing golden brown color. They did however could of used a little more seasoning. Service was very friendly, in fast conversations was down right humorous at times.
