Quite pricey for what you get. I ordered a wet burrito with carne asada. Yeah the burritos are huge, but it’s mostly rice than anything else. Carne asada was definitely sub par, despite the worker recommending it. Very minimal to bland flavor. Rice/bean to meat ratio was 4:1. Save yourself the trip. Would not recommend.

Decent Mexican food for a good price. I always use the coupon when I eat here. $ 25 off if you spend $ 37. Always ordered to go. Seat inside is small and they have an outdoor patio also. Parking lot is a little werid to get in and out. Salsa bar has a good variety. The Extra Spicy and Avocado are my favorites. Machaca con Huevos Breakfast Plate — $ 8.75 — Beef and egg mix is good but portion is small. Comes with chilaquiles and beans, and tortilla. Not the best Machaca I have had but it was not bad. Machaca con Huevos Breakfast Burrito — $ 7.45 — Typical breakfast burrito, same as above but in burrito form. I got no beans inside. Lengua Taco — $ 2.10 — Good beef flavor, ton of meat in the taco. Chicken Mole Taco — $ 1.90 — Could not taste the chicken over the mole flavor. Fish Taco — $ 2.40 — I thought it was fried but it was not. Fish tasted super fishy in a not so good way.

Carne Asada Nachos(Full size) $ 10.89 — delicious and hearty! You won’t be disappointed! I called in my order and within 15mins of getting there, my nachos were ready. Loaded with lots of crispy chips, and generous amounts of carne asada, refried beans, cheese, sour cream and my absolute favorite — guacamole, woohoo!!! I had this for dinner when I went to visit my Mom while she was recovering from her neck surgery. She was even able to have a lil nibble of my carne asada(the meat was tender enough for her to swallow) and guacamole, yay! I like that the carne asada was tender and juicy, and diced into small pieces. I also dig that they were generous with the cheese, guacamole and sour cream cuz every bite had yummy bits of everything. They put in a lot of chips, and ended throwing some of it away cuz I was so full, but was able to devour all the toppings, hehehe! Service was nice and quick. Utensils, napkins and sauces are self served on the side next to the cashiers. It’s a small taco joint about three tables inside and about 4 tables patio seating. They are located across from Carl’s Jr, and behind San Gabriel Valley Medical Hospital. They have about 4 dedicated parking spaces next to their restuarant. Would definitely come back next time to try out their other items, yay!

The food is okay. I have been here 3 time and the worst is the service here. Bad attitudes all the time. I can say hello or bye and ask a question and just be ignored here. It’s akward, rude and weird here all the time. I only came because of the groupon. I would not go back again without the groupon. I can not stand bad attitudes. Why do u work in the service industry if you act like you hate serving people? These people at the register do not want to work there, they shouldnt either. I feel like people like this would maybe get«CREATIVE» with the food when handling the food. So since today was the worst service ever from there i will not be back. And i am a great customer. I was first introduced by the groupon and i came back because the car dealership team i take food to enjoys there chicken tacos. I will order somewhere else now. You cant act pleasant for the less than one minute i am in there for picking up my food? Lol I cant imagine dining in. That must be why It is always so empty.

Taste more authentic than Chipotle. May be a little greasier but thats the meat fat. It is like whip cream on a frappaccino. How can you not have whip cream?! The portion is huge. Super buritto for under 7. You can feed 2 people. Thats the best value Their salad bar sauce is great. They dont do tobassco. Its like real green and red chili sauce. I wont recommend eating here everyday or any other mex restaurant for healthy diet but when you want to binge eat then enjoy come to los Tacos for a day to make you happy. I meant it as a compliment. Its the same thing by going to costco and eat a whole full pan pizza with just 1 friend and finishing off satisfied but bloated. I keep forgetting if they offer sour cream but that would make it taste even better

My friend treated couple of my friends and I, since he bought a groupon deal. This is my first time here and it was okay. There is a parking lot. Outdoor and indoor seating. The place is pretty small about couple of tables indoor. We order the el pastor burrito, wet asada burrito, asada nachos, asada tacos, horchata and a soda. The portion is pretty big. As for the flavor it was okay, nothing great that I would always come back for. If you dine in you get one free refill on your soda. As for the horchata it was 60 cent or so for a refill. They do have their own salsa bar, it was okay. Overall, okay place for big portion of food.

If you’ve read my previous reviews, you would know that I consider myself something of an aficionado when it comes to Carne Asada burritos. To some trained in the culinary arts, such a burrito should contain things like beans, lettuce, grilled peppers, and other odds and ends. For purists like me, A burrito bearing the carne Asada moniker should simply contain meat, pico de gallo, guacamole, and maybe a little salsa and cheese. This restaurant falls into the first camp — — their Asada burrito has all sorts of stuff in it. It was not inedible, but candidly, it’s something of a letdown when you’re expecting a big mouthful of meat, and you end up with a maw full of lettuce and sour cream. Years ago, I remember this property being an Italian restaurant. I’m not sure when it changed over, as I don’t frequent this neighborhood. However, from the looks of the place, they have been here for some time. There are both indoor and patio eating areas, although the outdoor area is adjacent to busy Las Tunas blvd. and if a pedestrian got the notion to grab your food from the sidewalk, it would not be a long reach. We ordered small bean and cheese burritos for the kids… It’s hard to mess this up. They were fine, if not Spartanly appointed. My bride ordered two chicken tacos, and I backed up my burrito with a couple of lengua tacos. The chicken tacos were also OK, but the lengua was overcooked and mushier even than I like. A little chew never killed nobody, said Double Negative Nelly. The drink refill policy also stinks of their proximity to several schools; drinks are served in Styrofoam cups, and you get one free refill with all the ice the couple will hold. There is a self-service salsa bar that had an empty green salsa container for the duration of our stay. The other sauces had enough heat, but little else in the texture or taste departments. Salsa should be hot, but hot should not be the primary flavor. This is an adequate place to pick up a couple of tacos on your lunch hour, but I don’t think I will drive out of my way to go back there anytime soon.

the lady in the front name Irene was very rude,.everytime I go she always seems mad. Costumer service is the most important thing when owning a restaurant, I hope the manager see’s this review. Other then that, the other ladies and cooks are very friendly and their nachos are delicious!

I come here for their Carne Asada Nachos(Full Size). They are delicious, their guacamole is always fresh. I always order over the phone and by the time I get there(about 5 – 7 minutes) they’re ready to go. Fast service, great customer service and delicious food.

I had placed a order togo for the Super Burrito and 4 Carne Asada tacos and 1 Birria tacos. When I have arrived home, Which is just around the corner from there. I started off eating the burrito and had noticed the meat was very old and very hard, So next I noticed they didn’t even make it a wet burrito that I had requested. So I figure ill try my tacos, I looked in bag And they never gave me my 4 Asada Tacos I automatically called the restaurant and had spoken to the woman and explained the problem and was completely against me. She said the cook had put tacos in bad. Well if the tacos were in the bad, then where are they? Very rude the lady was and had very poor english. I WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACETONOBODY. YOUAREBETTEROFFGOINGTODELTACO, OR A TACOTRUCKIFYOUWANTFRESHMEAT. This place claims«World’s Greatest Soft Tacos» NOT… SAVEYOURMONEY .EATELSEWHERE.

Got the coupon from Groupon which was $ 6 that worth $ 22! What a deal! So I went here and had their asada tacos and a nachos and a hard taco. The total came out $ 22.24. Their tacos are great and the nachos were large portions. Couldn’t finish it all. I would come back again!

They put a sign that says«Worlds Best Tacos» to get you to come eat there. They are not the worlds best tacos. This place was just ok. The Al Pastor tacos were greasy and grease was dripping down my hand as I was eating it. I probably wouldn’t come back here just because their salsa was not good at all. It was very watery. I’m big on good salsa. I would suggest to take your money somewhere else.

First things first, I got a great deal on Groupon! It was $ 11 for $ 22 worth of food & drink. I was tacos and I was so close to going somewhere else because of its bad reviews. I’m glad I came here because the food was great, especially their fish tacos and chicken mole tacos. The girl at the front(forgot her name) was friendly and seemed welcoming. She recommended the shredded beef hard shell taco. I thought it was kind of greasy. I also got carne asada nachos with all the fixings. It was a little bland, but their green & red sauce helped a lot. Like other reviewers have mentioned, their al pastor taco was in fact dripping grease and the meat was hard. I liked their Horchata but I wish they did refills! $ 22 worth of food was: carne asada nachos, large horchata, chicken mole taco, al pastor taco,(2) grilled fish tacos, & shredded beef hard shell taco. It looked like this meal was small, but don’t worry, their nachos were humongous and very filling. Since it is pretty pricy for what you get, I would def. recommend all of you Unilocalers to get the Groupon.

3.5 stars Came with friends who had a Groupon. I ordered a plate of 4 fish tacos, which were grilled, not fried. I thought they were pretty good and were generous with the fish, also not too salty. The place is a little pricey for what you get, though.

So I was cruising home from i dont know know where or doing what… and there was this GIANT blue awning smacking upside the head… It was saying LOOKATME! On the side of it, the awning proudly proclaimed the«BEST» soft tacos in the world. Consequently, I decided I had to give this place a whirl, even though the thought was ludicrous on its face. So as the munchkin and I were headed home one day, I took a detour and we popped in for a couple of tacos to take home. Pro Tip: No Amex or Discover, but they do take MC and Visa… So I ended up getting 4 tacos. 1 carne asada for the munchkin, 1 birria, 1 pollo, and 1 pastor for me. By getting 4 you got the combo special sale price that dropped one taco to like half price or $.15-$.20 off of each one… i think… So where they the best soft tacos in the world? hahaha nope. Were they overall tasty, you betcha… The asada was typical but not outstanding. The pollo was quite tasty but not the best that I have had either. The birria was also very tasty and quite flavorful, but the best in the world? hahahahaha ok that leaves the al pastor which came in second amongst my favorite«wet» style al pastor joints. What is nice is the best one of those is near disneyland and not exactly down the street from my house like this place is. I will say this place is on par with king taco and several of the shops in the area. The hot sauce was ok, but not fire, and not memorable. too bad though it was promising at first bite, but no heat and no compounding heat at all.
