The best Korean restaurants in the town for sure. I’ve been to most of the Korean restaurants around the area but nothing come close to this. It’s really authentic. They never uses MSG. I guarantee you.

Sorry to see the negative reviews. The food is actually decent and authentic. Décor is too run down and service is not personable. If you are willing to look pass it, it is enjoyable.

We give everyone a fair chance. We will even let a couple of minor things pass but this place failed in cleanliness, customer service and pricing. — Waitress was rude. — Menus were not readable. — Waitress couldn’t explain the items on the menu. How can we order something we don’t know?! — I’m reading $ 17 to $ 50?! That’s a bit high. Cleanliness is the biggest fail here. — The chopsticks and spoons were sitting on the table in the box. — We decided to just order seafood pancake and when she brought out the plates, 3 out of 6 plates were greasy and has food stains on them. Ummmmmmmm… do you wash plates at all? Why is the plate greasy? Maybe they should hire someone to wash dishes and translate their menu. — The spoons had stains. I can’t keep the greasy stained plates out of my head. I’m talking about a chunk of food was dried on the plate! It’s not even worth talking about how the seafood pancake tastes because the flavor was probably mixed with whatever was left on the plate. Definitely a bad experience.

I ordered pork soup and found a chicken bone. I am very sure that they recycle the food. No wonder the soup was very blend and there were way too many pork bones with no meat on it. It is really disgusting to even think that the soup was made out of leftover food that other people were eating. I will never return.

I come here pretty often and they’re very consistent with their dishes. jap chae + short ribs — my favorites! don’t miss out on the chicken either :) the only disappointing thing is their bibimbap. no egg? no flavor? major disappointment. also, I came here for valentine’s day dinner and the place was almost full. I guess the waitress was overwhelmed, but her attitude was pretty bad. the food took forever to come and she didn’t bother to refill our tea or even look at us. all of a sudden her family friends came and they were bringing out food for themselves from the kitchen when everybody else had already been waiting for at least 25 minutes. I don’t see why anybody would do that. but because that was a one time thing out of the many times I’ve been here, I’ll let it slide. great relaxing place for some good korean food. definitely recommend.

I can understand why other people have rated this place rather lowly, but I actually thought the food here was really good(as long as you know what to order) and as far as Korean places around the area go, this is now definitely in my top 3. I don’t normally write Unilocal reviews but I feel like this place is really underrated. The side dishes they hand out here are really good but definitely of a more traditional flavor which some people probably don’t like – my mom described them as being reminiscent of her childhood, which is probably why a lot of older people dine here. Anyway, I’ve only tried two things so far: -«Bori bap,» which is like a more traditionally prepared«bibimbap.» The«bori» refers to the type of rice grain that goes in it. It was pretty good, since bibimbap is one of my favorite dishes and you can hardly ever go wrong with it. –Ugeoji guk(I don’t know how they spell it on their menu), which was pretty bomb and the reason why I’ll be back.

just had dinner there on a quiet thursday night with my family, which includes a 3yr old and 4yr old. seating & ambiance — clean restaurant with nice chairs & tables, big screen tv playing korean music videos, and large tatami area(ie. shoes off). not a noisy place that allows customers to speak in a normal volume. service — we were seated immeidately. the owner’s son was very friendly and took good care of us… providing plastic ware for the kids and offering to re-heat one of our entrees because we let it sit too long before eating it. and so the kids could have more fun, he offered us the tatami area for more room to «run around»…which my kids did. :) food — we got kalbi, soon dubu, and bbq chix. kalbi meat was good quantity and high quality… very little fat… but it wasn’t season/marinated very deeply so it wasn’t very flavorful. the chix was fine… decent flavor & quantity… my kids loved it. soon dubu wasn’t very spicy and had a flavor that wasn’t normal… can’t explain it. price — yes, they don’t have real menus and just post photos of all their dishes & prices on the wall. most of the entrees are around $ 10, so the prices are decent and the quantities are fine. authenticity — i’m not korean, but compared to all the big, wellknown korean places in the south bay, this place tastes different. but i did notice lots of older korean people in the restaurant(dine in and take out), so maybe this place is authentic enough. if we ever get a craving for korean food, we’ll most likely go somewhere else.

This is a questionable ghetto looking Korean restaurant next to a popular korean video rental store. Not sure what compelled me to check it out but curiosity finally got the best of me. They have no menu handouts and I’m no korean, I can’t read the words up on the wall! I ended up ordering by pointing at pictures. No prices written either but after asking the lone worker there, it’s $ 8.65 for the boxed meals. I decided I didn’t want to stick around and eat so take out it was. Selection of meals ranged from the typical korean bulgogi to terikyaki chicken. Meal included some edamame, rice, and whatever main meat you ordered. Three sides are also added: fish, kimchi, and the typical korean veggies. The bulgogi wasn’t very good. I’d drive the extra ten minutes down Lawrence Expressway to hit up the numerous korean restaurants that line El Camino instead. Makes me hungry just thinking about El Camino.
