KFC

Got food poisoning at this location on 1÷21÷16. We reported it to the Heath department and are awaiting a response from them. Warring, do not eat here unless you want horrible food poisoning. The employees are doing something wrong and this needs to be looked into.

I’m not a huge fan of this location.
The roommate’s never had an issue grabbing a meal here. But me? The one time I tried picking up food, they told me they were out of chicken! WTF?! How can KFC be out of chicken!!! They said I’d have to wait another 20 mins or so for them to fry some up.
So much for FAST food!

It’s unfortunate that this place isn’t consistent.. good customer service for the most part but today as hungry as I am and my togo 3 wing cup was TERRIBLE!!! My wedges were cold and my wings were hollow. So I drove back and asked for fresh wings. the lady asked what would I like and again
…I said fresh Wings please. So she said I could keep the old food or throw it away and I said no you keep it or throw it away. I’m pissed because all I wanted wad wings and had Lucky had party wings I would’ve just fried some up instead of leaving kfc getting halfway home only to turn back because either couldn’t resist the wedge lol. No but foreal I’m pissed. So because I’m so hungry this trumps the other times I’ve come and received good service, bad service, good food, horrible food. I’m pissed. But thanks for my fresh wings #rolleyes

Look, with all fast food joints you know what you get and KFC is no different. However, what really makes this particular one stand out was the great customer service I had with an employee named Dionne. He is a really cool dude, who was super polite and really patient even when I wasn’t being the most gracious customer (I was on the phone while trying to order). And despite the fact that I was talking his ear off about some miscellaneous jibberish he still managed to not only get my food out properly but reiterated every item to make sure I got what I ordered. On top of that, he kept his area neat and clean as he was on register. Great work, Dionne! Hopefully, I spelled that right. Haha

Came in Valentines Day at 8.30p to pick up some food for the kiddies. I wanted to sit down while I waited for the food and every single table in the dining area was dirty. The three employees in the front were soooo busy with no one else in the restaurant other than a lonely man eating in the dining room and us that the tables couldn’t be wiped down.
If that was the front of the house, really don’t want to know what the back of the house looks like. Had to sit and wait in the car… NASTY!

I wish KFC had drive thrus, but this one is probably the one with the fastest service. The asian cashier girl is always friendly. Hot Biscuits all day errryday bruhhh

For the second time I have gotten a terrible meal at this location. The chicken tenders were so thin, they were almost just breading. Not a good meal to treat my grandson to. I am going to go to a different location, if no luck there then good-​bye KFC.

How do I Rate KFC?
I’m being generous with my rating… but I can find no wrong with this location… They’ve always done us Right!
If I needed a coupon or heads up on a better deal, the staff would offer ideas. I usually get some type of Family meal… sighhhh,.I remember being able to order for One back in the late 90’s I think!?!
I’ve only got one complaint… kfc no longer has Macaroni Salad… you know the white one… what happened???

I’ve been here plenty of times to buy dinner for my family and it usually gets crowded for that time. The line can get long and they barely have enough people to fulfill orders. I feel that it is over priced for the quality of food there.
The employees are pretty average and try to shorten the line. There’s not much to say about this location; nothing too spectacular.

Horrible portions for the price and everything tastes like it was straight from the microwave. Used to be good, not so much anymore.

Based on their catering, I was able to get same-​day orders of Mac&cheese without too much of an issue. I’ve done this twice.
The first time, the manager, Ernesto, didn’t pass on my order to the afternoon workers. When I arrived and asked to pick up my two «gallons» of Mac & Cheese, they had no idea about my order. They were still able to sell it to me & give me my order within 5 minutes. No big deal. The food was great & was a hit at the social I brought it to.
For this second time, I didn’t call ahead. I walked in & ordered the mac & cheese (just one «gallon» this time). Ernesto was there & was able to charge me with the same pricing as last time. I still like the food. The service is quick from what I’ve observed & the workers are pleasant, greeting customers as they come to the register. This is still the KFC I will continue to go to.

We always pick up food and bring it home from here. It’s clean and has a big seating area. The staff has always been friendly. I love their grilled chicken, their mac n cheese is super bland though!!! Otherwise its just KFC.

To be honest this KFC isn’t really up to par with the other KFC’s in the area. The people working here don’t look very happy but are efficient in what they do which I guess is what matters the most. Sometimes there is a wait for the chicken to come out but when you do get the chicken it’s kind of a random luck of the draw. On some occasions I’ve had chicken that has been over fried to the extent that it was like eating salt and other occasions the chicken sometimes tasted a little old. The chicken pot pies here however are pretty good and are almost always consistently tasty. It doesn’t get very crowded here either except close to dinner time, but there are better places out there for chicken.

What can I say about this KFC… I guess sometimes you sacrifice quality for convenience. One thing I can say about this particular KFC is, they are consistent. Consistently BAD! The manager might want to take an afternoon and either teach his employees what the different parts of a complete chicken look like OR they might want to give up the jig of telling their employees that a thigh is the same thing as a breast! My friend told me they have this Tuesday 2 pieces special (leg & thigh) for only $ 1.29 at his KFC cupertino area.
So I went to this location 3288 South White Rd and asked about the 2 pieces special for $ 1.29 and the mexican guy (with a little bit of mustache) there yelled at me and said «WHO TOLD YOU THAT?»
In the end he tried to give it to me but not (leg & thigh) only. He said it’s mixed only. He was yelling again. Actually the whole time he was yelling.
And at the same time these 2 ladies (including the cashier in front of me) were playing/​laughing/​joking with each other, instead of solving my problem.
I’ve always visited this location and bought the 10-​pieces chicken only and always received (leg and thigh) only. They never asked me if I want leg & thigh only or mixed. So I guess it’s a default thing.
But one day, that mexican guy is working there, and he gave me some breasts instead. I didn’t even know until I came back home. And it’s the same guy who was yelling at me.
I SHOULD HAVE YELLED BACK AT HIM!!!
If the manager reads this, please confirm that I went there on 12/​13/​2011 Tuesday around 2:45 PM. There were 3 people working there (2 ladies and 1 guy in the front). Give him a big kick to the face. I wanted to kick the sh1t out of him.

I agree with the other reviewers it is a big KFC and clean. The restroom was even clean.
Pros:
Big dining area.
Not too busy.
Clean restroom.
Cons:
Chicken (Original) was way too greasy.
On the way to the restroom the smell of grease is completely overwhelming.
If I am in the area I might stop by to try something different but will not go out of my way to go here.

Hmm. ill just start off by saying that i think all chain food restaurants are pretty much the same lol. They have the same mediocre food, and the same mediocre service.
The service wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. This location does get a little bit busy sometimes. They were really slow and mixed up a lot of the orders too. The mix-​ups were easily fixed so no harm done.
i absolutely love KFC. The chicken pot pie is my favorite! You can never go wrong with that. BUT BUT BUT if you love macaroni and cheese like I do, I strongly suggest you do NOT come to KFC close to closing time. They gave me a macaroni and cheese with barely any cheese! Yuck. BTW, they no longer carry cornbread :(
This particular KFC is located in the same plaza as Lucky’s supermarket, CVS Pharmacy, Lee’s Sandwich, and etc. so they have some competition. Out of all of the KFC locations I’ve been too, this location has the largest dinning area I’ve seen thus far. Kudos to them; it’s cute.

Got a number 5 three piece leg and thigh. Dam the 2 apple pies are now $ 1.39 from $ 1:(Location is good for me and just down the road. I order buckets here when I have family visiting. Just remember to cook rice before you get the chicken. HAHA
Service is really good here and friendly. Bathrooms are ok.

Kind of wierd that the manager that works there is like the only man (besides their chef) and everyone else are young girls, fresh out of high school or still in high school…
But besides this creepy-​ness…
the girls the do work there are very poilite. you always get a, «Hello how are you today?» and a genuine, «Thank you!» at the end of ordering your meal.
They always ask for your name, double check that they have your order corrent, and always offer sauce, which is great because im a saucey kind of girl! They few times they were off on our orders they always throw in a free dessert or apologize for about 10 minutes!
So i can’t complain. The food is typical, greasy, original, grilled, or crispy KFC!
All in all, no problems with this one.
4 stars for it always being so HOT & HUMID inside, please, please get some AC!

There are always people waiting at the door to put the fear in you for a little bit of your money???
True story… we’re leaving KFC on a Wednesday night. I have my hands full with a soda jug… my aunt has a 14 piece and fries and sides in her hand. and this black dude stands right at the door in our way.
He’s like. «y’all have any money. look I need money. I’m homeless and I don’t have any money.» (We can totally tell whatever he’s on, he’s slowly coming off it and needs more of it)
We’re like. «umm… no… sorry»
He’s like. «don’t mess with me. i need money!»
And then I go. «well if you could wait for me to put this down in the car I can see if I have any…»
And he’s like… «you want to go to the car… to see if you have money…»
And I go. «yes…»
And then, I just decide to hand her the big jug of soda so I can grab a buck from my wallet and hand it to him instead of leading him to our car.
Homeboy slowly takes the dollar as if that wasn’t good enough for him! And then we quickly walk to our car and bounceee… only to see that he didn’t harass the mexican guy that walked pass him afterwards. Talk about choosing your victims wisely…
Next time I should try using my mace for once.
Word to the wise. don’t come here without a body guard or friend in tow!
