I was looking for a Mexican restaurant that sells Menudo which is typical on weekends. So I decided to give this one a try. Went ahead and ask for the menudo but they told me they were out. I was pretty upset so I went ahead and order a hot plate since I didn’t want to look for another place and was very hungry. I ordered their Carnitas platter, not impressed. Canned beans, not enough rice, and dry meat.
This will be my last time coming here. Oh yeah way over priced. Reason for 2 stars is there salsa bar
After I paid I noticed menudo was still being served to customers, not sure if they were lying or just forgot.

The food is fantastic! They got all sorts of salsas and the customer service is the best. I mostly take out, but when I do come and and get my food I always tip. I know the food will always be the best. The Rice and beans are my favorite as well. they’re very authentic

como 4:30 pedimos 3 enchiladas, 1 huarache y 2 tejuinos nos, cobraron $ 40.00 y eso fue un robo y la comida bastante mala, regresamos a checar por que cobraron tanto ya que no estaban en su lista los precios y las 2 cajeras trataron de esconderse, al ver que no nos ibamos le hecharon la culpa a la caja y a las taxas (asi mensionaron los taxes) ya que en el ticket solo venia el total. Used to come here often for their micheladas. They’re pretty legit!

The food here suxs I order the fish tacos they are gross some weird steamed fish not battered and fried like I was expecting I have also tried other this like there burritos the meat is gross to it has no taste defiantly lacks flavor do they steam that too? Once I found a eye lash in the salsa nasty never going back there after that and it’s a very dirty restaurant don’t go here I’m lucky I didn’t get food poisoning the times I ate here

Stopped by to give them a try. We ordered snacks like tosti-​locos, raspado and a mangoneada. The mangoneada had a hair in it. An awful thick nasty hair. :-/
They refused to give me my money back. :(
I wouldn’t go back for many reasons. The place is very dirty, they don’t have good customer service and there was a hair in my food.

My sweetie and I decided to eat here while we’re doing our laundry at the laundry mat. We ordered the carne asada nachos. It was really delicious. As soon as we got home we both had the bad case of mud butt. Tmi but that was the case.

Sorry. No bueno. Their carne asada burrito was probably the worst carne asada I’ve eaten. The meat tasted like it was steamed or boiled. Do yourself a favor and go a half mile down to El Grullo Restaurant on Alvin Ave. $ 6 for a super. If you have time go to the Araujo on Senter and Capitol Exp.

This place has pretty good food. I had the carnitas tacos. It was a little strange because they put melted cheese on their tacos. The horchata is pretty awesome! I will go back if I’m in the neighborhood!

Their «Jumbo» burritos are small and they put more rice than anything in the burrito. Everyone knows rice is a ‘filler’ in the burrito. The meat was barely there and price was over priced for lettuce wrapped in a tortilla

Came here with a friend for the first time so I wanted to try as many of the meats as my tummy can hold. I ordered 4 tacos– fish, shrimp, cabeza, and lengua. I have to admit, I liked them all! The lengua and the cabeza were extra juicy and full of flavors when moving through my mouth and into my tummy haha. The fish and shrimp tacos were still moist and was not over cooked.
I also love their spread of self-​serve side goodness. The cashier seemed nice and was happy for our business. I would definitely reccomand trying out this place if you want AUTHENTIC mexican food!

ok so I just tried this place. Got a carne asada plate to go. The meat was cooked to order but way too salty. The beans were um weird and gross. Tortillas are store bought and warmed up so they were a bit chewy almost rubbery. Horchatas way too much cinnamon. Yuck! Been there done that will not be back. When I mentioned getting food from here my friend said he would rather have 5 dollar pizza. After spending $ 14+ on these two items. Wish I had gotten pizza too.

Really good food, the tacos are killer 2 $ and pretty good size. I have had the asada and the pastor on numerous occasions. Last time I ordered the carne asada plate for under $ 10 bucks, huge plate.
My wife had the ceviche and she liked it. Outdoor seating which is nice when the weather is decent. The girls working the counter are friendly, they even had oranges for my son.
I have been a repeat customer and I will go back again.

This taqueria is located next to a laundromat and a liquor store on Tully rd so it is not in the best of neighborhoods.
I had a Carne asada burrito and I thought that it was solid. They really took their time to make it a good burrito. The carne asada was cooked to order. It was assembled with the all fixings and then they took the time to put it back on the grill to crisp the tortilla and to melt the cheese. Overall a very solid burrito. I will be back.
The Carne asada was crisped up as well so it had a good flavor with little crispy bits. You can taste that it came from a seasoned grill. Very good!

I was driving home from work and saw this place so i decided to stop by and try it out. Their burritos were definitely on point! I’d definitely come back for those… I would suggest coming here when it’s not busy since it’s located on a busy street and the parking lot is reallyyyy small.
