This tiny indian ‘veggie’ restaurant hides in the back of New India Bazar – an Indian grocery store. They have a daily ‘special’ that consists of rice and two choices of entrée with 2 indian ‘pancakes’ for $ 4.49. This is a BARGAIN price for a good lunch that feeds me twice. There are numerous entrees in the hot area – ONLY veggie! The food isn’t too spicy, which is why I like it. They also have a small dessert area as well. The same owner runs a large veggie Indian place in Pleasanton… where we also ate lunch. So, the food is tasty and the price is right. The food is put into a small aluminum ‘tray’ with compartments with lid. And the indian bread/pancake is in foil as well. Pay with cash or card.

Best Samosas(standard Aloo/Potato ones) in Bayarea. This is a small nook in the back on «New India Bazaar» grocery store. They supply all sorts of Indian appetizers and snacks to restaurants around. I sometimes speak to the cook«Kirpal» who is very accommodating when ordering for parties for taste, outside menu items, delivery time and of course very cost effective. Any potluck I go… people ask me to bring«Hey bring those awesome samosas you brought at the last party»…
