I have been coming to prince pizza for years now and it still remains the best pizza I’ve eaten in the northeast. The hot & spicy pizza is the way to go if you love things flavorful and spicy! This is our to go spot for when people are visiting, and everyone we have brought here also love the pizza. Also a must order, is the basket of garlic bread as an appetizer. It will be the best garlic bread you will ever have. Service here is also great, and usually they are pretty quick about getting you your food. One time they accidentally overcooked my pizza crust, and afterwards gave me a gift certificate for the next time I go for a free pie. They are also very accommodating the large parties and have a separate room inside with large tables that can host large parties. The only complaint I have is that the prices continue to climb drastically over the years! But I would still recommend this place to anyone craving some good pizza

A friend told me the pizza from here is the best. I went and tried it & it was yummy, try it out for yourself. I haven’t tried anything else there.

I remember this place being amazing as a kid and could basically taste the pizza every time I drove by. After going back the pizza tasted like cardboard and was so greasy. Honestly it tasted like that cheap Red Barron pizza you buy in the frozen section.

Went to a fundraiser comedy show laat night. GF and I got there early and sat at the bar. Jay the bartender took care of us. A Cosmopolitan for her and beers for me. Very friendly with a lot of energy. Pizza at the show was good for an event server in the show was great. Kept my beer full. That can be a challenge sometimes. Good night at the Prince!

There was a salad bar with buffet? Was never told… where was it? Having the server bring you a coke is just an excuse to tip BS

Best crust… Soft yet crunchy… Fast service, clean, awesome. It seats a lot of people so it can get noisy… Get carry out if that’s a problem.

Heck does it matter what I say this place is going to be busy regardless. The food is just ok, the pizza probably the best. I got the fried zucchini, not a fan, not fresh and very small for the large order. The fries where good. We went to Giggles it is always the same, I have been there five times and if I close my eyes the comedians would be all the same every time.

My favorite pizza on the north shore! Light buttery crust is literally out of this world. My two favorites are garlic pizza or pepperoni but plain cheese is amazing too! Great family atmosphere, we have been regulars here for over two decades and never leave disappointed!

Prince catered our office Holiday luncheon for 125 employees. We ordered an Italian feast that was delivered and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Employees remarked this was the best food we had ever had at a company function. If you need to plan an event or even a smaller gathering I highly recommend Prince!

Our waiter was awesome. She was doing everything for everyone none stop. The place is really lucky to have her. Besides that the food was okay at the best. I had the raviolis and my fiancé had chicken marsala. The raviolis I have had better at home out of the freezer. My fiancé chicken marsala was awful she couldn’t even eat it. Don’t worry I never go here anyways. Only when I was a kid for sports parties and now for my kids sports parties. Don’t come here. Service was great with the amount of people they had. God bless them

I am a sucker for the famous Route One landmarks and will always brave the hustle and bustle of this busy road in attempt to reach my favorite destinations. I nearly cried when they announced the closing of the Hilltop and I still tear up a bit when I see the lonely, freestanding cactus and large empty lot where the steakhouse used to be. Fortunately the familiar, yet somewhat tacky, leaning tower of «Pizza» and its attached restaurant has maintained its success for almost fifty years. Prince Restaurant is a fun, casual establishment well –known for their pizza. Full disclosure: I’ve never tried the pizza. I have had a few different pasta dishes that I find worthy of three stars. I grant Prince four stars overall, however, taking into consideration the restaurant’s attached comedy club«Giggles.» I am not a huge fan of the ordering system at Prince. Customers must place their order at the counter upon entering, find a seat, and raise their hand to alert the server of their location once their name is called. Ticket holders at «Giggles» have the advantage of full table service and I must note our server was very helpful and attentive despite the crowd at tonight’s sold out show. This was my first time attending the comedy performance here at the attached club(separate dining room within the restaurant) and I really enjoyed the experience. The comics included Steve Sweeney, Tony V(who had a brief role in Seinfeld), and Lenny Clark. Stand up comedy can be so hit or miss, but tonight was a definite hit. Lots of great hometown comedy which once again reaffirms how proud I am to be a Bostonian. Before the show started we dined on an Italian feast which began with a delicious, cheesy, garlic bread appetizer. I chose the Eggplant Parmesan with angel hair as my entrée and found it just okay as it seemed a bit dry –perhaps baked a little too long. I also wish it had been covered in a bit more sauce. My friends seemed happy with their pizza and baked penne. Dinner service begins about an hour before the show which gives diners plenty of time to eat up before the lights are dimmed for the comics. The show runs about an hour and after it wraps up servers return to the tables with the checks to square up. Tony V hung out to meet and greet a bit after the show. I had a blast tonight and enjoyed a night with friends that was a little bit out of my ordinary Saturday routine.

Very good pizza and at a good price. I ate there a couple years ago with family and had a very good pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. Well worth eating there.

Food is terrible, the pizza sauce is watery and bland. The lasagna was cold and the pizza looked like it was store bought and microwaved.

This place is as much a Route One icon as Kowloon’s and the Hilltop(RIP). It can suit your needs, depending on what those needs are. If you have a large group, or a kid’s party, or if you enjoy noise, chaos and okay food, this is your nirvana. If, however, you’re searching for a more relaxing atmosphere, get your food to go and enjoy it at home. The pizza itself is either hated or loved. It’s not a true Italian thin crust, but almost a pastry crust: light and flaky. The sauce is on the sweet side and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. Again, you either love it or hate it. They offer all of the Italian menu staples and there’s nothing spectacular about any of them the salads, especially the caprese and antipasto, are disappointing. Their prices have been creeping up making this less and less of a go to place. However, their meat lasagna is outstanding! Thick, dense, full of meat! It is the best lasagna on Route One. And they serve Bianco sausages: sweet, juicy, full of flavor. It’s a good place for a group to go for a night out, but I can’t see it as a regular dining option due to the prices and quality of the food.

Their pizzas are good and any indian will say that but i dont really like it since their dough feels very light and crumbly. I have been there multiple times and my parents love that place so we often head to the place for pizza. I usually order Apps and pasta dish to satisfy my dinner requirement. Their rices have sky rocketed in past 3 years or so because of the popularity I mean their italian food or their apps are pretty decent but nothing extraordinary, it get the work done so i am not sure if i can say they are worth the value or not. they also have frozen pizza to take home if you do not wish to eat there. They tend to be same tasting and can be just like the ones eating at restaurant which mean they pizza base is ready and not hand tossed. overall it is good place and also has comedy club if anyone is interested in it. But for me i am not fan of pizza specially at that price where a veggie pizza cost 17.95

Attended the«Giggles» end of the business for a baby shower. There was ample room for everyone to sit and the convenient stage for the mother to be. The tables were arranged well and there was more than enough seating — if you’re looking to host an event here. The food was great! They had set up a full pizza, pasta, salad and extras buffet. The pizzas where perfectly cooked with a crisp crust. The toppings were fresh and evenly added to all slices. I loved the crispy chicken fingers and they were even better when is asked specifically for some ranch to dip! The waitress was very attentive, constantly made sure everyone had what they needed or wanted throughout the entire affair. The place settings had nice glasses and clean utensils. And if there were unused settings she made sure to clear them away to have room for those who were at that table. Quick to remove dirty dishes and unwanted leftovers. All in all, a very well put together venue with tasty food across the board.

We went for the comedy night(Giggles) which was really funny. We all enjoyed the comedians and the show. The food was okay, nothing great. But a good snack while having a few drinks and watching the show. The staff at this place should really all take a class on how to treat people. So rude and for no reason. First run in was with a middle aged bartender that looked perpetually aggravated. Dude, the bar was not that packed, relax, you can smile a little. There was about 8 of us, all ordered drinks and line up against the wall to put our drinks and bags down. As everyone’s opening wallets and getting ready to pay, the bartender leans over the bar«HEYWHOGOTDRINKS, COMEON!» waving us over. Everyone shocked, we just kind of looked at him like uhhh yeah, that’s what we’re doing. He again yells«COMEONGUYS, WHOGOTDRINKSBACKTHERELET’S GETTHISDONE, SQUAREUP». Are you kidding me? Did you think we were going to run or something? Not only completely unprofessional but seriously hair across his… so anyway. We go into the comedy show, it was funny. But here comes the next disappointing part, my friend ordered an Absolute and cranberry. She took a sip and made a face, passed it around to 2 friends, all made the same face. You get the picture, it was gross. My friend said to the server, «I don’t know what it is, but its not Absolute and I’m good, I’ll just get water.» Much nicer than that sounds, but no big deal really. She wasn’t upset, didn’t make it a big deal. Then it starts, the server insists it’s Absolute. Then the bartender comes over(during the comedy show???) and starts questioning why she didn’t like the drink. Bartender insists over and over it’s Absolute. The bill comes, Absolute is still on there. Friend tells the server: It wasn’t Absolute and I sent it back still full. Here comes the Manager: What was wrong with the drink? It WAS Absolute Friend: It was not what I ordered, it tasted funny, it wasn’t Absolute. Manager: Continues to insist it IS Absolute but eventually takes it off the bill. The whole thing was ridiculous. We’re not«those» people in a restaurant ever, the drink was bad. Why was that so hard to accept? Did you think we wanted 3 free sips of not Absolute and cranberry? It should have never been that drawn out. There’s better places to go.

I’ve been coming here as a kid with my family! The service in the restaurant is always delightful. But then we catered from them this past weekend. The owner wrote the wrong date down for my order. when we showed up to pick up the food the cook was confused. So we ended up having to wait for a hour until they could finish the order. On the upside they gave me 2 boxes of their To-Go pizza’s on the house. Everyone at the event did enjoy the food as well. We’ll always be back.

Have been coming here 30+ years with my family. The environment was super family friendly everyone was welcoming, the staff always talked to us. The food was awesome, when in doubt go to prince. However, over time the food has become disappointing, poorly made. The staff there is so rude, specially the one healthy lady who takes orders, her attitude can turn away any customer. Maybe she was having a bad day, and releasing her anger onto customers, but cant say for sure because we’ve encountered her snarky attitude on multiple occasions. After ordering my food and having to listen to her extremely rude comments and attitude, I’m sure none of us were in a mood to even eat there anymore. The best part, she lady started serving us and when it came time to pay the bill she became extremely nice. In the end, the service and quality of food here is just decreasing over time.
