The name says it all, this place is about fun and a ton of nostalgia. Walk in and you are sure to see the classic toys, comics, video games and more. You go in there and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are decent on some things and downright great on their back issue comics. As a comic collector I loved some of the books I found and purchased but some were absolutely shredded, others in great shape. Since you can get them for .50−1.00 each it’s worth your while to look around and see what they have.
If I’m back in the area I’d certainly come back.

I had so much fun in this store we ended up spending an hour in here. I am so happy we stumbled upon this «little» shop because it was full from top to bottom with wonderful goodies from my childhood. They also have discounted manga! As far as I could tell all of the manga was $ 4.50– a fantastic deal. They also had a large and diverse selection though I only buy a few select series at the moment. I saw some I have considered getting into but haven’t yet but passed up on them in favor of one that would complete my Yu Yu Hakusho series.
They also have a nice collection of comic books, both old and new. I scoped out their used trade-​ins and grabbed a Teen Titans book that looked interesting. I was looking for Runaways books but didn’t find any. However I’m glad I found the Teen Titans series because it reminded me that I do want to collect Teen Titans and Young Justice as well.
When I was done geeking out I ended up chatting up (and getting some help from) the guys at the counter. They were very cool, answered all my questions, and helped me out with anything I needed help with. I really appreciated how friendly they all were. It was just a fun place to go and I would totally go back in a heartbeat– with a list of what manga I’m looking to guy.

Great selection of nostalgic toys and games. Prices are fair, however for used/​vintage items you would think they would be negotiable towards prices. Overall we are happy to return.

While on vacation with the family and roaming the streets of Downtown Savannah after having ice cream at Leopold’s, we happened upon this fun store. And I was instantly blown away! As a child born in the 70’s, this store took me right back to my childhood. If you’re looking for a blast from the past then this is the place to go. Comics, games, video games, action figures, etc. You name it, they have it. My kids went crazy in this place and I surely would’ve dropped lots of money if left on my own. Nostalgia galore. Must visit shop!

This is the kind of store I could spend an entire day browsing through. Everything from unusual animé figurines, soundtracks and manga to video games for just about every system are packed into this good size shop. The prices were spot on with what you would expect to pay online for the most part. Their display cabinet filled with hard to find RPG titles and other rare games, especially for the Playstation and Super Nintendo was really impressive to see. Employees were extremely friendly and engaging with customers, I wish my stay in Georgia was longer so I had more time to wander around here shopping.

This place is awesome. It felt like I had stepped back into my childhood and for the 30 minutes I was in the store, I was no longer an adult. This shop seriously takes you back to that feeling of being a kid and seeing all of the toys that Santa brought you for Christmas.
They have a little bit of everything as far as 80’s and 90’s nostalgia goes. They have games for Super Nintendo, Game Boy, Nintendo, N64, Game Cube, etc… I mean the list just goes on. When I was in there, they had duck hunt set up to play. I could have been there all day! They also have old action figures. I’m talking flip head Power Rangers, which were some of my favorites. They have Pokemon cards, Magic Cards, old DVD’s and Movies. If you’re looking for a gift for anyone that grew up in the 80’s or 90’s, I guarantee you can find something for them.
The staff was also super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are perusing E Broughton St. You could spend a whole day in this place. Also, they seemed fine with me bringing my to go cup in (Savannah has no open container laws). Whether you are a visitor or a Savannah Native, you should check this place out.

What a crazy store this is! There really is something for every kid (or people who are kids at heart). When I was walking down the street I saw what I thought was a 2XL robot (bonus points if you know what I’m referring to) and had to stop and look inside. It wasn’t 2XL, but they did have a Teddy Ruxpin! (more bonus points if you know what that is) There are action figures for sale ranging from current movies to decades old ones, with my favorite being the light grey and blue old-​school Batman. A whole section was devoted to Japanese manga (comic books) and animé. Of course there are boxes and boxes of comics from the USA. I got a kick out of looking at their collection of old video games. The guy behind the counter was even wearing a Nintendo Power Glove. There was always a wide variety of toys available. They also sell used toys. The Hot Wheels were 75 cents apiece. I know I’m probably not remembering some of the other categories I saw but if this is your kind of place you’ve already bookmarked this business and are going anyway.

So yeah. this just happened. Recently had a comic book store go under in my town and did a little research on places in Savannah as my Fiancé and I were up there for the weekend and after reading reviews, we decided to stop in and weren’t disappointed in the least! We spent well over an hour in the store and cannot wait to stop back in the next time we’re up in Georgia! I literally felt my mouth agape as I walked through the store while looking at all of the vintage products that they have for sale. If you’re into older gaming systems, this place is for you as they had quite a few good deals on games/​systems. $ 4 Manga. 50 cent comics out of sleeves from Marvel to DC to Indy to Archie, and other comics in sleeves with board backing at different prices. Old figurines (Star Wars, Star Trek, WWF, Marvel, DC, Masters of the Universe, Disney, My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, etc). Tons of Pokemon. Board Games. DVD’s/Blu Rays. Teddy Ruxpin. They also had a knowledgeable staff who appeared open to answering questions and offering any assistance if needed. This place is a gem in Savannah and hopefully will stay open for years to come.

Love the nostalgia! Great prices, people are very friendly, and wide variety of 80s and 90s memorabilia. Love coming in here with my sisters who are all too young to remember! The reactions are price less :)

Although I didn’t find anything to purchase, the store is pretty cool! They have a bunch of random things (old video games, board games, action figures), etc. a lot of stuff from my childhood (growing up in the 80s/​90s).
I would recommend walking through it if you’re in Savannah and have nerdy sensibilities like myself.

Used — yes. New — yes. Old school 80’s and early 90’s definitely — yes! Though I did not buy anything it was fun to just come in and look around. The time warp was fun and as I left I think I saw the largest collection of Magic: The Gathering cards I have ever seen in my life.
Like old games, action figures, and more? Come in and join in on the fun…

Great fun. We always find the coolest toys here. The owner is very knowledgable and friendly. A must stop when we come to Savannah.

It’s a little on the … worn side, though that seems to be a common theme with toy stores. There was a slight smell when I walked in.
Lots of stuff from the 90s. Definitely a fun way to reminisce.
They have a shelf of rubber ducks. My friend is obsessed with these things, and collects them. So I bought this hilarious looking one that I wish I took a picture of.
Front window has a Pikachu that is almost as tall as I am. Bad. Ass.

As a collector of vintage board games, I like to stop in here from time to time when we are downtown.
They have a few vintage board games, not a terribly large selection. I always love seeing what else they have in stock– especially the old toys I remember from my childhood in the 80s/​early 90s.
If you are a fan on Manga (I am not), you’ll find large selection here. They also have a large selection of game for the original Nintendo for those of you lucky enough to own one that still works.

on Sunday. Walked around and checked out Savannah GA for 2 hours. Love Planet Fun. Has great collectibles and new stuff as well. It was a big hit with my six year old. My husband and I loved it as well

Wow, such an amazing store! If you’re looking for any vintage toys (70s, 80s, 90s), this is the place to visit!
Walking by and seeing the window filled with items from the past, I knew I had to check it out. They really had an amazing collection of items to choose from. Everything from action figures from the 70s, to Transformers from the 80s, to old or hard-​to-​find/​rare video games and even Garbage Pail Kids, this spot had it all. Anyone can enjoy this spot and take a trip down memory lane.

I’m married to a toy collector, so we got very giddy when we stumbled upon this store on our vacation. It’s always neat to travel back to your childhood and see the toys you used to play with. It was cool to even see kids getting excited as their parents pointed out relics from their childhoods. We have a similar store in our town so we are kind of spoiled. In comparison, we found the prices at Planet Fun on the higher side, but if you don’t have any other access to these toys, it’s probably a better deal than Ebay.
I thought the display and layout was great. It was also cool to see that they had a selection of «girl toys» from the 80’s that if they were just a few bucks cheaper I’d buy ‘em and I’m not a collector by any means.
A definite stop for visiting Gen X and Gen Y-​ers!

Planet Fun appears to be the place in Savannah to stop in for your 80s (and 90s) toy fix. They had a wonderful selection of old gaming consoles and cartridges. I’m not sure what I will do with an ET for the Atari 2600, but for 2 dollars I couldn’t resist this bastion of the fall of 1983. They also have crazy selection of Yu-​Gi-​Oh, Pokemon and Magic Cards for $ 0.25 each.
The selection overall isn’t huge, but they are getting new things in often. Highly recommended if you want to relive your childhood.

Cute little novelty toy store which I ran across along the main shopping strip in historic downtown Savannah. As the other reviews have noted that have eeverything from 80s action figures to comic books to atari games. They buy your old classic toys as well.
