Came here for restaurant week and they had pretty amazing food! Initial impression was not great but that turned around after a while. We didn’t have a reservation but took our chance anyway, they said there was about a 2 hr wait or try the bar area… we sat immediately at the bar with several open tables. They then informed us that they could not serve food for another hour for whatever reason but we could still get drinks. We almost left but decided to wait it out and I’m glad we did. I had a salad, some salmon with a pilaf rice, and a small scoop of ice cream with a small square brownie. The perfect amount! They were smaller portions than regular since it was part of the«restaurant week» menu but it ohhh was so tasty! Haven’t had that good of meal in a long time. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. They were great. It is definitely more on the spendy side so be prepared especially if you’re having a few drinks with your meal.

I was a guest at 45 Bistro a few nights while I stayed at the Marshall House. Service is great — the bartenders are friendly and seem to remember everyone night to night even though they must meet a million people. I had drinks the first night and dinner and drinks the second, but only ate in the bar area. Cool atmosphere that blends well with the hotel. Food was delicious, especially the beef carpaccio… I will be back next time in town.

A relative was staying at the Marshall House on a visit so we decided to dine at 45 Bistro. What a fantastic choice! We all had different steaks and they were delicious. I had an aged ribeye with espresso sauce and it was so tender and flavorful. The sides were bright and fresh and the desserts were just the right amount of sweet and so elegantly prepared. The staff was so friendly and did not mind us staying at our table a long time to chat. We ordered espressos after our dessert and they were amazing. It was over a year ago that we dined there and I hope to do so again soon!

The food and services was the best. Very good atmosphere. My wife and I ate hear last night and both ordered different specials. I had a espresso rubbed ribeye with mushroom and asparagus which was cooked perfect and I was melt in you mouth. My wife had the red snapper with lobster risotto and it was spot on also. We will surely be back.

Food was really good, service was great! Missed our reservations at another restaurant so we dropped in to grab a seat at the bar for dinner. The main dinning area seemed to be quite empty but we later discovered there was a large dinner/business party in another section. The bartender made sure we could get a food order in before the party had their service. Two perfectly plated entrees of grouper appeared. Only problem… it wasn’t what we ordered. My coworker and I had requested the special… blackened snapper over lobster and squash risotto. The bartender and another server were completely apologetic even though we hardly made a single complaint between the two of us. We were hungry and not picky eaters. The grouper was a second choice anyway and it looked great. We accepted the meal and less than 5 minutes later another server showed up with two sides of the lobster and squash risotto and an apology for the mix up. Service was top notch and the food was well worth it.

Great staff, food and ambiance. It took a minute to greet us at the door but the rest went very smoothly. We ate the scallop appetizer special, rack of lamb, snapper special, crème brûlée and their signature desert(can’t remember the name) and it was all on point. Our server was Steven and We highly recommend if you’re into French Cuisine.

One of the worst servers we’ve ever had — and he was the Asst Manager — AND he wasn’t even our server! My wife & son ordered filets — both medium rare. One came medium rare, the other medium. My wife asked to have hers returned, whereupon Mr. Asst Manager returned with the same dish, poking at the meat with a fork and indicating it was«certainly as ordered». Never had a dish pushed in my wife’s face before. He left in a huff to return to the kitchen, and my wife politely tried to find our real server. She cancelled the dinner — at which point Mr. Asst Manager was still complaining to her. Too many other good restaurants in Savannah.

Great meal! The food was as good as it gets. I had the shrimp and grits and the beet salad and both dishes were wonderful. Others had the lamb, the grouper, the fried green tomatoes, and the pizza — all were perfect. I agree with another reviewer about the noise in the dining room but it was a Saturday night and crowded, so not too surprising — and not bad enough to impact our enjoyment of the meal!

We did some research on where to go and were able to get a last minute(but late — 9PM) reservation at 45 Bistro and it turned out to be the best meal we’ve had in a while! Our server(Steve) was great and the food was outstanding. He got the escargot app and the aged 16 oz ribeye special entrée, and I got the bento box. It was all incredible. I can’t say enough about the food, and the ambiance was wonderful for a date night. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Excellent service, incredible food and beautiful ambiance made this a most pleasurable dining experience. Every time I am in Savannah I make it a point to dine here. Steve was our waiter and he was very attentive and knew the menu backward and forward. He made excellent suggestions and it was obvious that he enjoys his job. The watermelon salad was refreshing and delicious. The pork three ways was outstanding.

Great meal! My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here last night and the food and service were wonderful. My wife has the scallops and u had the ribeye, both on the specials menu. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The reduction over the steak was amazing as well. The only complaint would be the noise in the dinning room, but there was a party of 10 celebrating, so it’s to be expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. Ambience was delightful and food was good. Our server was attentive and personable. To start, the house made bread served with oil, balsamic and pesto was addicting. We chose to do a number of appetizers for our dinner. The bento box was a surprising favorite, the tuna and seaweed salad were DELICIOUS! We also enjoyed the feta and duck flat bread, along with the mushroom risotto and shoe string potatoes.

Fantastic filet mignon! The pink lemonade tastes great. Charming and traditional décor. Great service. I will be back! I only dined here, so I can’t speak of paranormal activities the ghost tours always speak of.

I absolutely LOVE45 Bistro! I cannot wait to eat here again after I move back to Georgia. My MIL and I ate here in October of 2013 for a Girl’s Night Out. After that night, I decided to have my wedding there(Dec 2013). It was so inexpensive and such a beautiful wedding for being so last minute. The staff was incredible with setting up, the food, the service, EVERYTHING. They fit our needs 110%. The food(we chose a buffet with a carving station, shrimp and grits, cheese platter, and much more!) was so good. All 50 of our guests were pleased and a few have even gone back for dinner. I am so happy we chose 45 Bistro as our wedding venue! I recommend them to everyone!

Amazing beef capprioni and duck pizza. Pricey but worth it if you get an appetizer it’s still a big enough portion to fill you up. They also give you complimentary baguette with a basil/balsamic/Olive oil dipping sauce which is so yummy too! In total $ 25 and I was stuffed and blown away with the food. Even took most of the duck pizza back to my room for later that night.

I had heard such great things about this place. I was staying at the adjacent Marshall House while in Savannah on business, and sat at the bar to have dinner. Food was meh, had the shrimp Caesar salad pizza. And service was also meh. Bartender was clearly overwhelmed, and got busy making craft cocktails. Never even noticed that I didn’t care for my entrée. Would have had dessert but after my less than half eaten entrée sat in front of me for half an hour, I just ordered another glass of wine to go. Cute place, and probably a fluke bad experience, but a bummer nonetheless.

The food is outstanding here. I had an espresso encrusted rib eye that virtually melted in my mouth. The staff was courteous and attentive(as always). Always a pleasant dinning experience!

Located inside The Marshall House, the oldest hotel in charming Savannah. The food was excellent. We had the crab cake, bento box, and shrimp & grits as starters and duck(best I had!), filet mignon, pork chop, and grouper as entrees.
