Whenever I come to Savannah I HAVE to stop here! The cheddar bac is amazing, delicious, and a bunch of other good words! The positive vibe of the restaurant is contagious. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves once they step in. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time. And it being on Broughton street doesn’t hurt.

Chill and easy vibe from the get go. Was warmly greeted at the door and was warmly informed to sit wherever we liked. Sat down and was greeted by a very warm, welcoming smile from our server. We told her to order us her two favorite lattes; she didn’t disappoint. The Crème Brulee and Red Velvet lattes were pretty bomb. The food, mixed with the great service and the easy vibe made our stop well worth it. Highly recommend this place to anyone that’s mad chill.

Fresh food. Menu is always changing but it’s always delicious. The woman who comes up with each month’s specialties obviously enjoys her work and it shows. My favorite lunch spot in the city!

Great coffee!!! Very Quaint atmosphere, relaxing. Soups came out delicious and hot, pimento cheese panini was scrumptious. Really enjoyed our quick brunch.

Excellent food, it took a little bit to get the food but it was totally with it. The portobello sandwich was soooooo good, it’s a definite MUST

Good basic lunch spot and coffee. Ingredients are fresher and more generously cut than most lunch spots. In between several walking tour spots.

A perfectly adequate lunch spot on Broughton. Think Panera but a little more eclectic. They have lots of vegetarian options, coffee and draft beer too. The service was attentive and kind. I’d say it’s nothing to get super excited about but definitely hits the spot if you need an accessible, easy meal. The pastries were pretty good too.

This place is not dog friendly. They allow dogs to sit outside on street but so does every other restaurant.

Well, pretty bad… service was great buy food was terrible. Red pepper soup tasted like ashtray… the salad was not fresh… add salt to the wound… no good kids meal on menu so subway across the street… kid ham sandwich … we were asked to leave…

The service was slow… we waited a long time to get menus, then we waited for drinks, we waited for refills, we waited some more for our food and we waited a long time for the check. We waited so long that they gave us a discount on our check.(no we didn’t complain and this probably earned them back a star) I had one of the soups of the day and it was tasty. My husband had the ham, cheddar and apple butter panini, which was also good. Coffee was adequate, the espresso machine was down. The people watching from the table was entertaining. We appreciated the discount, but will not be going back.

Really yummy, homemade food! I had the roasted red pepper/tomato bisque and the portabella mushrooms and veggies on a pita(cant remember the name… bella something) and it was AMAZING! Love this place!

This was our first time here and it was absolutely great! I had the pimiento cheese panini and it was so tasty and filling. The others in my party had different sandwiches and they enjoyed theirs as well. The soups are very good. The artichoke tomato soup is to die for. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, affordable prices. Great job, guys. We’ll be back.

One of my favorite places to eat in Savannah. Everything is made in house including all the sauces and soups. The menu is always changing and there is something new and delicious to try. I’ve never been disappointed. PS: get a chamoozie(champagne smoothie) — healthy & functional

If you’re in the mood for an incredible sandwich then this is the place for you. Sure you can make a sandwich at home so can I but I can guarantee it won’t taste as good as the ones they have here . They’ve got limited space so you may have to wait for a table to come available but it’s well worth it. The service is top notch and so is the food, it’s like they put a little piece of their heart into each sandwich. It’s a delightful place to bring the kids or those out of town guest that stopped in without calling first. Since they’re located next to the famous ice cream shop you can people watch while you wait.

We stopped in at this little café hoping to find some breakfast– no luck. However, what we did have was great. My hubby had the blueberry panini– and he inhaled the entire thing. I enjoyed the BAT sandwich– I love avocado– and it made the sandwich. The ladies working here were all very friendly and the service overall was great. There were many people here to have a working lunch as well– and the restaurant was very accommodating and set up well for this purpose. We would definitely come back to this little spot if we lived in the area.

After shopping on Broughton, it was time for dessert. I walked to E. Broughton to a little café in front of the SCAD library, called the district café & eatery. I ordered the coconut cream cake. If I could sing I would review this cake in my best and highest opera voice. O, I’m saying the cake was very good. While walking downtown Savannah, alone, on the fourth of July, I decided to treat myself to a food crawl. I started at the Public Café on the corner of Bull and Liberty; I took an outside table, ordered a ham and brie melt with fresh fruit as a side dish. The sandwich was filled with ham, brie and surprisingly thin apple slices. Delicious combination. The food and the service was great, but the Savannah gnats, God help us. Luckily for me I hit two home runs today. When you have time Savannah, stop by both café s, I think you would enjoy While wondering around historic

We were so excited to spend a day in Savannah, GA! The desk clerk at our motel suggested The District when we asked about a lunch spot in the historical district… both the menu and the entrees are amazing ! Jessica is our waitress and she is both friendly and helpful. She added an extra perk to our lunch. I had the Asparagus Panini with a cup of roasted red pepper tomato soup. The panini had an ample amount of asparagus, red pepper and spinach, very tasty! I would recommend both.

This is why you go to old town in any city. Such an array of unique and interesting places and cafes. What a find when the Motel clerk(can you believe that) recommended The District café and Eatery. Reminds me of Succotash in Kansas City. I had a Acai Chamoozie How can you beat it, a combination of one of the best antioxidants AND champagne.
