Great late night, drunk food spot with really good potatoes. Service is slow so be sure to be ready for a 30 – 40 minute wait after you order. BBQ pulled pork potato was great!

You have to be drunk to enjoy this crap. I highly suggest you have 5 – 6 drinks before you come here.

Really what’s not to like? Baked spuds, the perfect food. Great combinations. I had the pizza-tato. Yummy.

I brought my out of town guest here because we couldn’t stop bragging about it last night, 11÷01÷15. We put our orders in at the counter and sat with our group. I got the Sunrise which is normally«amazing» and my group got an assortment of the other delicious tatters. After 20 mins 3 of our group potatoes were brought to the tables. My friends from Portland waited and waited. Soon everyone who had gotten their potatoes were completely done and waiting on us. We waited 45 mins. When I finally got my «Sunrise» potato, it was half the size of everyone else’s potato with only cheese and a well done egg on top. No butter, sour cream, chives… nothing else. I paid 9 bucks for a tiny potato that I devoured in less than 10 mins while the rest of my group watched and waited for us to eat so we could get going. I was going to say something to the guy at the counter who never mentioned they were backed up or that it was going to be a wait because they needed to cook potatoes. The guy was pretty chill drinking a BlueMoon beer when I tried to make eye contact, he was quick to put on the shelf. Not sure if they were slow, behind, backed up because they were to busy drinking on company time or they just didn’t care. All I know the experience left me disappointed and hungry. Luckily we got to Lulu’s for some dessert where the service was much nicer and professional.

I discovered Spudnik completely by accident while walking back to my car parked in the courthouse garage this past Saturday night… Their logo was projected onto the side of the garage! As a proud Space Hipster, the name & logo caught my eye immediately, and when I realized their menu revolved around potatoes, I knew I had to stop in. I think the sign said they were open til 3am on Saturday?! I was actually surprised to find the small shop nearly empty around 11pm… I know I always crave carbs, especially potatoes, when I’ve been drinking(and the next morning), so given the crazy crowds less than 2 blocks away, I expected a line. Inside was cute & clean… And they have a fairly big menu — I had a hard time deciding! I chose the Sunrise, which is a large baked potato with cheese & chives, topped with a fried egg. Now, I had to wait a few minutes — I assume my potato was made-to-order. They also sell bottled beers — craft, I guess — I don’t drink beer or ciders; they had a small selection of both. But my short wait was worth it(like 7 minutes)! By the time I got back to my hotel room about an hour later(others in my group wanted sushi on the way back), my potato was still quite warm &DELICIOUS. And I want to note that the cheese & chives seemed to be infused in the potato — not just on top! I could eat just this for any meal… and I can’t wait to get back to Savannah to try a different potato. Or the same one. I’ve already begged them to franchise & open in Tampa.

We walked all the way across town to only find the door locked at one pm. You need to post if you are closed for the day. Fab and Unilocal

As a celiac, it can be stressful to eat out, so it’s great to find a restaurant that I can actually eat at. Seeing as they only serve potatoes there were several gluten free options to choose from. My Mexican themed potato was delicious. I would definitely go back for more!

Have dined in numerous times, and absolutely love the food. I always go for the BBQ Pulled Pork-Tato, but the Lonestar is a close second! Definitely worth coming to — it’s fast and delicious, with a very laid back vibe. They have options that range from basic to very involved, and everything is at a great price as well. They have sweet potatoes too! They have a selection of beer and cider as well, so there’s definitely something for everyone in all aspects.

Very good, or probably as good as you can do with at potato. The guy working there was very nice and provided great service.

One other person and myself went there for an early dinner around 6pm on a Tuesday when we were passing through Savannah for the day. It’s a cool concept — all manner of baked potatoes, and it’s done well. I got the Sunrise and my dining partner got the Lonestar. The staff was friendly, and the potatoes were tasty. It’s a small, relatively quick venue but it’s still a cool, simple design. The floor is made of pennies which, as a detail oriented person, I enjoyed.

The potatoes are perfect, the best baked potatoes I’ve had in a very long time. The idea is great and the décor is awesome. I wish there was more variety in the toppings and a better quality. It’s all canned and bottled stuff. Also very limited soda flavors. The guy working there was nice though and the bathroom was clean.

I really, really, really want to love this place. I love baked potatoes and I love the concept of this restaurant. I especially love that it’s open very late as we work late hours and don’t always eat at normal people times. So, it was nice to find Spudnik open into the wee hours… but in doing so, we were among the drunks who didn’t know how to hold their alcohol… or their ordered potatoes. The place was a full mess of drunk SCAD students yelling and screaming at each other and some throwing potato pieces across the room. Of course, this isn’t exactly the restaurant’s fault as if you’re open late, you’re going to attract those who are out late, as well. However, turning to the food, for what we paid — for a potato and some toppings — I thought the price didn’t reflect the quality of what I received. If you’re paying that much for a baked potato… it should be huge. It should be something you have to eat in two sittings. Mine was over-cooked, the skin was over-done, thick, and chewy, and it was impossible to eat it with plastic utensils. I broke three forks trying to get through the over-cooked skin. It may have just been the night we were there, but I was disappointed in the overall experience. Since then, I’ve kept a supply of baked potatoes on hand with all the fixings. One bag of potatoes, some sour cream, cheese, chives, bacon, and butter cost about half of what we spent in one meal. A fun idea, good novelty, but not fully there yet. Drop your prices and then we’ll be back.

I have died and gone to potato heaven! It is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall, or more like alley, place to eat. I ordered the BBQ Pull Pork-tato and it was amazing! The potato was fresh and perfectly cooked. Even the skin was clean enough to eat and didn’t have the dirty taste of not being washed. The owner made the suggestion of adding tortilla chips to the toppings to give a crunch… I highly recommend doing the same. This was a perfect lunch for after/during a big day of walking around.

By far the best baked potato I have ever had! The portions for the price are awesome and the staff is very friendly. I really need them to move to RVA!

Loved this place! The name is hilarious– makes me think about the Friends the One with the Halloween party. I got the Classic– SO delicious! This place was a great alternative to your typical late night food! I like to think it is a little healthier :) please open a Spudnik in Charleston!!! You would do great there :)

I’m not sure what to say about this place. It was exactly as described — all baked potatoes with interesting toppings. Probably not the best choice for lunch on a sweltering summer day but it was filling. I thought it would be a cheap lunch option but, with a soda, I basically ended up paying just as much as if I’d gotten a full lunch somewhere else. I had the Lone Star and it was quite good though how could anything drenched in chili and cheese be even the slightest bit awful, really.

I finally after months of wanting to stopped into Spudnik’s & I must admit it’s a decision I should have made a lot sooner. This place servers one thing potatoes sweet & russet and to my surprise they do them quite well. I really love loaded baked potatoes so I purchased the classic which comes with cheddar, sour cream, chives, & bacon. It was out of this world delicious & well worth the price of 6.90 plus tax & tip ! It’s not worth it once you include the $ 20 parking ticket I received but hey it wasn’t my fault the parking meter was broken I called the city. If you’re in the area stop by & try yourself a gourmet potato bowl(their slogan not mine) you will not be sorry !

This place is brand new! My husband and I had The Classic and Athenian potatoes. The menu is short and concise with regular and sweet potatoes. I recommend adding bacon if you’re not vegetarian. This is a fantastic place if you’re craving a spud(with all the fixin’s) and a soda. Alcohol isn’t available. Beautiful penny flooring. Staff is very polite. I’m excited about going back and incorporating Spudnik into my restaurant rotation! Loving this local spot.
