Starland Café is one of Savannah’s best kept secret. Everytime I take someone here, they never knew it existed and are surprised at the quality of the food. It’s such a cute restaurant! I usually come here with my husband for a quick bite of lunch with our dogs(There’s outdoor seating and dog bowls!) Their Thai tomato soup is my favorite item on the menu and I have it EVERYSINGLETIME!!! Their paninis are just delicious. We can’t even start to recommend what to try because everything is just so good!!! Parking is very limited and it gets a bit cramp there so we usually almost never come here during peak hours. We prefer dining about a hour after the lunch rush so we can enjoy our food slowly and can park right out front instead of driving around looking for parking. If you’re looking for a nice healthy lunch, stop by Starland! You will not be disappointed! It’s one of my favorite spots to have a guilt free meal.

Enjoyed the food and setting in what appears to be a residential neighborhood with very limited parking. Ordered a half chicken panini /half kitchen sink salad which was delicious. Very casual dining and would likely revisit during a less busy hour.

Adorable little house converted to a restaurant. Had the kitchen sink salad… Asparagus, grapes, rice noodles, artichoke hearts, and that’s not everything. Definitely big enough for lunch. Hubby had the Greek panini and said it was the best sandwich bread EVER. Counter service and was busy on a Tuesday so go early. We will be back!

Addicted to this place! The hardest part of going here is choosing which yummy item to order! My mainstay is the Goat Bomb with the ciabatta bread lightly grilled. Mouth watering!

The food is phenomenal!!! I love their salads and they make fantastic pimento cheese, everything on the menu is amazing! Their coffee is the bomb, too!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. The customer service is great here as well, always a friendly face to greet you and help you order! Also, don’t miss all of the art on their walls by local artists, which is frequently for sale!!! Love this place!!!

Cute restaurant in Savannah to grab a nice sandwich, soup, or salad. Food: Inventive paninis, soups, and salads. The food was delicious. I had the thai tomato soup and the CBG(chicken, bacon, guac) panini. Both were really tasty. Service: When we first walked in, we were confused where to go. We figured out that you are supposed to wait in line and order at a stand down the hallway, but no one told us this. When I asked how things worked, I got a less than friendly response. Our food also took a long, long time to come out(like 45 minutes for some soup and sandwiches) Their southern hospitality could use some work. Atmosphere: Located on what feels like a neighborhood street — the restaurant itself is in a house and is very cute, if a bit cramped when it’s busy. We were able to snag one of the tables in the backyard, which was a really nice environment to dine, and to wait on our food. I’d definitely go back… great lunch spot in Savannah!

Cute house and atmosphere, very friendly service. The signature soup, Thai Tomato, is pretty good, and the sandwiches were pretty good too. If I lived in town this would be a good alternative to Panera if I wanted to spend $ 40 on lunch for two, but there are so many other choices in this price range.

Stopped in for lunch after class one afternoon and had a really great experience! The staff was super friendly, atmosphere was quaint, and my sandwich was DELICIOUS. The«Green Goat» was definitely the way to go. A little bit pricey by college student standards but worth every bite!

I love going to Starland Café. I used to go there more often when I was working on my undergrad at Armstrong, and I had almost forgotten about it. Today, my partner and I went for our scheduled first of the month date. He picked the place and he could not have picked better. I ordered the special salad that had apricots, dates, walnuts, a housemade vinaigrette and all sorts of other delicious things. My partner ordered his«go-to» the green goat(an amazing one of a kind goat cheese and apple sandwich – you have to experience it to understand). The service was great, the food was great, and I left a nice tip on the way out. Something about the atmosphere and the location make it one of my favorite spots to go for an early lunch in the downtown area. It comes highly recommended whether for a special occasion or a casual dining experience.

This was one of the best places I have ever eaten. Such cute atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. We got the pimento cheese panini and the soup with a goat cheese bomb in it. Everything exceeded expectations. Especially the soup. Do yourself a favor and go here!

Cutest Victorian house converted into the perfect sandwich spot. The only way to eat a sandwich in my opinion is toasted or pressed so this place hits the nail on the head. Plenty of different and creative options for sandwiches, we shared 4 and all were delicious. The apple and goat cheese was one of my favorites, very unique. Enjoyed the Mediterranean and CB a lot as well. The signature tomato soup was a little heavy for hot it is but also very good.

This place is a seriously good spot to grab lunch… yummy Panini, yummy salads, charming environment. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Really good pimento cheese… it has flavor and isn’t too runny.

This place is kind of tricky to recognize from the outside, but it’s definitely worth going into for a healthy and delicious lunch. I had The Other Salad, which was amazing. I really applaud this place on its unique salads. The portions are thankfully substantial and the salad was perfectly dressed. My mom got a panini which she enjoyed. As a heads up, if you’re ordering with someone else(e.g., you get a sandwich and they get a salad), they’ll let you split so that each of you gets half the sandwich and half the salad.
