I love Super Tastes. I go probably once a week, and I always get the same thing(though I’ve tried other items on the menu and everything is great). The Angel Roll is fantastic and I have yet to find better fried rice in the entire universe. Will continue to go back as often as I can!

You must get the Ichiban roll. Perhaps one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had. The citrus flavors in the roll are what did it for me. The service was top notch. The prices are what you’d expect for sushi and they offer lunch specials.

I’ve been to Super Tastes multiple times but the last time I did was horrible. The entire meal, from drink orders to checking out at the cash register, was conducted by a ten year old boy. When we first arrived the restaurant was relatively empty but even when it completely filled up the ten year old waiter took care of all the tables. The strangest part was that there were multiple adults there as well, and while they made occasional appearances to bring out hot cups of soup or to pull the young waiter away when he was rambling at customers, they let the boy take care of the rest. Even when I walked up to the cash register to pay, the man who was standing there scurried away and the little boy ran up to help me. The strangeness of the situation completely distracted us and we ate an uncomfortable meal it utter disbelief. The food was fine but the weirdness of it all makes me sure I’ll never go back.

Their food is really good and the service is very nice. I appreciate that fact that they offer a delivery service and that they have sweet deals with their sushi. Their hibachi lunch is delicious! One of my top favorite items on their lunch menu. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. Honestly — Super Taste is a college student’s best friends with their hours, their versatile menu, affordable prices and delivery/carryout/dine in options.

Loves this place. Thank you Unilocalers! We were brought complimentary spring rolls that were perfect start. Good filling, nice crisp she’ll and a great dipping sauce. The daughter ordered gyoza. Best we have ever had! The order came with around 6 or 7. They tasted grilled even though they didn’t appear to be. So moist and flavorful. She inhaled them. The husband and I both ordered the two roll lunch special for $ 7.50. He got California roll and spicy tuna, both delicious. I got crunchy roll and philly roll, also great. The highlight was the Ichiban roll — spicy white runs with jalapeño and cream cheese inside and yellowtail and avocado on top with spicy ponzu. Best roll we’ve ever had. Service was fantastic, especially the young boy(son?) who helped us. He was probably around 10 or 11 years old and awesome. He even carded a table order of sake!

We eat at Super Tastes all the time! They are always so nice in there, and it is reasonable priced. There’s a lot of variety on the menu and if you eat in they usually give you free spring rolls. One of the many authentic Asian restaurants in Savannah, a few people I know that are SCAD kids from Hong Kong love it here.

Well I guess I’ll start with the first impression. When I can in I was greeted by a boy no more than 11 who was very polite. He was a very good host, bringing me a menu and bringing me a water. A woman took my order, giving me a descriptive menu after I asked the ingredients of more than two rolls. She was very nice, quick to smile. I ordered the wasabi sasa for an appetizer. That didn’t stop them from giving me a free spring roll while I ate my miso soup. The soup was so so good and the spring roll was fresh wish a spicy sweet sauce that was good. I got the lunch two roll. The spicy tuna had crunchy tampura pieces which I like. The yellowtail roll was simple and fresh, just like I like it. All in all the price is right and the experience was good.

I popped in here for a quick to-go order before going home. I ordered the lunch special that included two rolls, and a bowl of soup or salad. The two rolls – spicy salmon and tempura shrimp – were very good. I really enjoyed their textures and flavors, but I would’ve liked at least six pieces in each roll as I’m used to at other places. The salad was fresh, but the ginger dressing didn’t have the spicy and tangy flavors I was looking forward to. I also bought a lychee soda, and it was so tasty. The bottle was also cute enough that I kept it to spray paint later. Overall, good, cheap sushi.

My favorite item is the crunchy rolls, by far the best crunchy roll you will ever have.

We love this place. The $ 17.95 all you can eat sushi is a great deal… Unlike some of these negative reviews, our fish was SO yummy and fresh. Yes, the kitchen is hidden, but our food came out great. The spicy Kani salad is so good. Only place we can find Kani salad on savannah! Definitely not a fancy date night sushi place. Just a tasty, quick, hole in the wall place. Overall, great prices… Great food… Ignore the bad reviews, take my advice, and give this place a try!

We stumbled upon this place when visiting downtown Savannah. Holy cow! Soo good! The bento boxes are an amazing value. My daughter wanted noodles and teriyaki sauce– they happily made that in a kids portion. We had the Savannah roll, the super roll and the rocky(? I think) roll. All were huge and the 3 were more than enough for my husband and I. The owners are very kind. Highly highly recommend. They also have all you can eat sushi from 4:30 — 9:30!

My virgin Unilocal review goes to this awful expierence. The chewy yellow tail and salmon sashimis we ordered are not only from the worst part of the fish but also just about to turn. The price is cheap indeed. So nothing much should be blamed on those sashimis. Those sweat shrimps were things really annoyed us. We ordered them because they are ‘today’s special’, yet comes with a stinky smell and a persihing color. We called the owner, but she refused to admit the quality of the food and with an agressive attitude. So we ended up leaving the restaurant with anger and disappointment and a plate of sweat shrimp untouched. So if you are brave enough to try anything from its hide-in-kitchen sushi bar, be prepared to spend your next day on a toilet.

Love this place! Great takeout spot. The people that run it are dedicated, nice, and always have a smile! Get a lunch hibachi chicken and scallops, spicy house fried rice, or a bento box! All great choices for a quick meal that hits the spot.

This little hole on the wall was a great find during our savannah visit. One of the square entertainers highly recommended this place, and we loved it! It’s nothing fancy just a good sushi spot. The rolls were delicious and cheap considering all you get. The Savannah role was our favorite.

Without a doubt, the worst sushi roll I have ever had in my life. After one roll(the mango roll) we quickly left. We should have known from the get go that it would be bad(there was no sushi chef visible.. everything came from a hidden kitchen). Is you want sushi, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place(even after a Lifesaver and 10 minutes of walking, the bad flavor still lingered)

This has become a weekend staple of ours. It’s a hidden treasure in Savannah– delicious sushi at unbelievable prices. Their rolls are fresh and creative. The service might be a little sub par(we order beer by pointing at the bottle), their happy attitude and delicious food make up for it.

Maybe good pace for cheap and quick lunch. But if you expect more classy, like date with someone or having great dinner in the«enjoying the Savannah tourist» mood, this place would not be a good match. However, the price and food quality had decent quality. As a asian food lover, I could say it is a good, cheap and casual restaurant. Maybe good for college students.

We stumbled across this place in search of Japanese food. Just walking around Savannah in need of good hibachi and we were very impressed from this place. The four of us(2 couples) were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress was very soft spoken and polite. I ordered the hibachi chicken, and my husband ordered the teryaki chicken, both lunch specials which means they come with soup or salad. I got the mushroom soup and it was typical with little slices of mushrooms in a clear broth. The hibachi chicken came with fried rice and mixed veggies. The shrimp sauce(which you have to ask for) was a little runny, but tasted very good, just different. My husbands came in a bowl with teryaki sauce at the bottom and a bowl of white rice. He’s attempting to better his chopstick«skills» so I don’t think the rice was eaten in the sauce like it was meant to be, but he said everything was delicious. Overall a great experience, what a lucky find!
