Denny’s

Food was typical Dennys but the service was way below average. I had to find a waitress and tell her I was ready to order. I had to go find my own bottle of hot sauce and had to ask for more cofffee.

The location is great and is always a good place for a quick bite. Get here before noon to beat the lunch crowds. The wait staff is sort of laggy, but acceptable.

Well the service was slow at first and not prepared. We even were given the wrong check.
After awhile the manager came around and greeted everyone which was nice. This is not our first choice but we were waiting for car so had breakfast here. The food was okay. Used my AARP card for discount so that helped.

Worst Denny’s experience ever. Short staffed, cussing manager. Biscuits sat under heat lamp too long and burned my son. No water. Only waitress went on break leaving us all alone. Terrible!

We’re on the road. The gully washers have finally stopped. We needed a decent meal. This place exceeded our needs and expectations. The menu accommodates my food restrictions & the low fat egg white omelette was loaded with well cooked veggies. Loved the waitress. She was funny, smart and accurate.

Yes, I am giving a diner 5 stars. The people at this location seem to care. My food was good, hot and comforting. I was there late on a Wednesday night and just wanted nice comfort food. The wait staff was super friendly, it was clean, and the cook even asked if we liked his food… he seemed to genuinely care. Nice place, I will go again!

Horrible customer service. Not only is their service slow, but they didn’t even apologize for getting our order wrong. On top of that, they took forever to bring each course out… waited for like 30 mins after eating too get out dessert. They barely had any customers yet they had a sour face through the entire service. And no refills on the wqyer. Waitress never even came around to check on us.

Long trip from three days of driving, couldn’t check into our hotel yet so we grabbed breakfast here.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Inside is very clean and cool from the heat n humidity outside.. Nice escape.
Bathrooms were super clean always a plus
Food is what to be expected, it’s Dennys.. but good fresh n hot.
Coffee was always kept full, we needed it!
Only down fall, the jelly… only strawberry or grape?? Open the veriaty there, come on, bring in the orange marmalade, or something :)
Sabrina; you are off to a great start, you have a friendly smile and wonderful attitude and very tentative to ur customers. Kudos to you and good luck with everything :)

This place is excellent. The manager came by at least 2 times to check on me and they have a knack for making the hash browns just the right amount of crispness. The French toast had nice crisp edges and fully cooked the middle without being overdone. I drive right past another Denny’s in Live Oak to get to this newly remodeled one. The $ 4 value option of biscuits and gravy just seems like a really good deal. These guys are always fast even when it’s lunchtime and the place is jostling with business.

Service started out very good. Went south from there. Not real bad, but when you have other breakfast choices in the area I think you need to be exceptional. Food was ok for the price. Bacon is too thin. I don’t like an empty cup. Mine was. ‘Nuff said.

By far the worst Dennys in the area, over an hour for simple eggs and pancakes and only 4 tables being serviced, manager needs to wake up.

Great remodel servers were great and the pride of the new look was evident. Stop buy you will not be disapionted.

The building and all interior is old and worn out. It was a horrible lunch time experience. The waitress was inexperienced, which I found out later was not do to just starting a new job, she had been there for quite some time. She seated us at a dirty table, tried wiping it off with a napkin, then after noticing our menus sticking to the table, my hubby requested her to get a wet cloth to wipe it off. She left us without menus or silverware, then came back asking what we wanted. I asked for menus. We thought about leaving and probably should have. Then she brought my hubby and son their drinks but took another 10 mins to get mine. At that time we asked for straws and it took a long time to get those too. The food was decent, the manager seemed to care, but wasn’t able to keep his word by adjusting our bill. He changed our server to a waiter and he was spectacular and even tip worthy! Next thing we know there is another server behind the counter dropping f bombs at the manager and a loud argument ensued. Not only with the manager but she was yelling at other servers. The staff here could use some serious training. I couldn’t believe all this happened in one visit. It was like we went for dinner and a show. On the plus side, we didn’t get food poisoning.

It depends on when you go. Late night seems to be the best time as, the food is served correctly and quickly with little to no hassle. This is a big step over the others in the area. During lunch hours, it depends on the shift crew. Sometimes, there’s a few who make it an unpleasant experience. Yet, there’s just as many who make it a wonderful experience. Will continue to keep going here. Food is awesome.

Went to Denny’s this morning and was very impressed. I had read some pretty bad reviews on it and I wasn’t expecting much but it blew me away! The service was great I was greeted upon entrance and had a very respectful waitress named Marinna. The food was good and punctual. The only concern I had was the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was not as clean as I would of liked but it was still very adequate. I recommend this diner to anyone who wants to go to a family friendly place away from busy crowds. Two thumbs up.

Do not WASTE your time. Wait staff, hostess, bus people, cooks, and manager appear to have no interest in the customer. Sat and watched my order SIT on the window waiting to be delivered for 6 minutes and 36 seconds (that was after I started the stop watch — no telling how long it had sat there before I noticed it). My wife and I frequent Denny’s all over the country — THIS ONE HAS TO BE THE WORST!

Sitting here regretting I didn’t go to I-​Hop! It smells bad, the seat cushion is worn down, and the vents are moldy! Why don’t I leave? My son won’t let me. He’s «starving.» Never again!

Always crowded but when we are seated there are a lot of open tables not cleaned.
