My complaint is the disorganization of the staff. We signed up a table. Specifically requested a table and not a booth. First time they called us they tried to sit us at a booth. we told them again told them we wanted a table and will wait for one to be open. Another host came and asked us if we were waiting to be seated. We told them yes but we were waiting for a table to be opened and did not mind waiting. So we wrote it, told 2 hostesses. Once again they called our name and proceeded to take us to a booth. We are large people and do not fit comfortable in a booth. it is obvious when you see us. plus we told them 3 times we will wait for a table. But 2 times tried to sit us in a booth. Very upsetting. we left. This happened May 28, 2016 at about 11:00

Have to say the worst one around! The night manager on duty(3÷24÷16 around 10pm) very rude as we were checking out! There was a group of kids that came in and they refused service to most of them. Claimed«they could not cook food for everyone»! Hello what is a restaurant for? Never again will we go here!

Terrible service, took forever to get seated and there was only a few people there to begin with. The waitress didn’t notify us of price changes on the menu, she always charged us for extra sides we didn’t order. It took about 30 minutes to get our food

This place is awful. Everyone seems to be so fricking absent minded it’s pathetic. Forget about refills… you’re gonna die of thirst. My mother loves their potato soup and the handful of times we came here they didn’t have crackers. Not once. I mean what restaurant don’t have crackers? But they always offer toast as a replacement.

This place overall just sucked. We were sat right away and gave our drinks. It took 10 mins to get our waters and coffee. We placed our order when our waitress came back with our drinks and then didn’t see her again until our food came out. You could tell our food had been sitting in the window for a bit because it was all cold. I had ordered over easy eggs and got scrambled. Since I’m a waitress myself and I understand accidents happen I decided to just eat the scrambled ones but they were over cooked and cold as ice. Our waitress did fix this when we were finally able to wave her down. This place needs some serious help. The staff is all disconnected and service needs some work.

Other than the friendly hostess and server, nothing in this restaurant was acceptable. I don’t expect outstanding food on the highway but I do expect IHOP to be average at the least. None of what we ordered was pleasing to look at or tasty. It was a meal we ate because we were hungry-then wished we hadn’t. On top of everything else, the bathrooms were disgusting. We were there at 8:00 a.m. The floors were ok and the toilet seats were clean enough but if you looked at the back of the seat(in plain sight) it had obviously not been cleaned in several days. You could tell that the management did not take pride in their establishment or they would not allow all this to take place. Terrible experience.

Service was snail paced and it wasn’t even busy. My son and I arrived and were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the hostess. She even brought us our drinks. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. The few occupied tables around us were receiving their food so I decided to be patient. But when our server started bussing tables before taking our order, I figured that was enough. I got up and told her we had not ordered yet. No apologies. Nothing. She wasn’t mean or cold, just inefficient. Finally she took our orders. I ordered the ham and egg melt with hash browns. I substituted egg whites and bacon for the eggs and ham. It is hard to believe but my very simple breakfast sandwich was poorly assembled. All the egg whites and cheese were grouped together on one side of my sandwich. So I opened up my sandwich and spread out the eggs. Easily done. Felt like I was at home. Had I not done this the majority of my bites would have been both eggless and cheeseless. My son was happy with his silver 5 pancake kid’s meal. Overall, meh.

Stopped by to have brunch w/the family & was seated quickly. Waitress was Nice & Friendly. Food was Great & Price was Right!! Went here and was immediately seated. Sat with my menus visibly in front of me on the table and waiting at least 15 minutes before my server Kim A. came to take my drink order. I ordered my drink and Kim brought it fairlu quicklt then she said that she would be right back. I waited another 8 – 10 minutes before she came back to take my order. She took my order and left. 10 minutes after I order an elderly gentleman sat at the table in front of me. Kim was all over it. She took his order promptly and brought it out… i was still waiting for my food. When my food finally did arrive Kim A. came by and gave me my check and walked off. She stopped by the elderly man’s table several time to ask if he was okay, if there were any problem with his order etc. She came by once to my table after I had my empty glass sitting on the edge of the table for a good 10 minutes. She asked me if I wanted a water. No Kim… i want another of what I was drinking. She brought out my new drink and I only saw her in passing for the duration of my meal. Towards the end, a friend of hers came into the restaurant and asked to be seated in her section. They cleaned off a table specifically for the friend. Kim proceeded to come out and have a seat at the table and converse with her friend… even as they were sitting new patrons in her section. You could tell that other servers were bothered by Kim’s actions because they started slamming down menus and storming off to the back as they watched her sit with her friend chatting while she was on duty. I was not impressed by Kim and her lack of professionalism. Her service was crappy and her attitude towards me was lousy. If possible I would only give half of a star for this service and treatment.

We just had brunch at Ihop!!! It is Eater Sunday so there was a little wait. Food was great and service was excellent. Actually the service was amazing. My family felt very welcome and happy!!! Thank you IHOP!!!

Last week we went to ihop and were asked to wait to be seated yet the restaurant was only about half full. 30 minutes later, tired of waiting we left. Went back today and ended up wishing we’d been denied service again. My meal was swimming in grease, the toast didn’t arrive until after the meal was finished. The Pancakes were cold, overdone and therefore chewey. I will never go back.

Once again Unilocal is placing old good reviews on top of more recent bad reviews! Front door balast is malfunctioning, door swung closed fast and smacked me in the elbow badly! Told the Hostess who just stared at me with eyes that had nothing behind them! Then sat me and my wife at a table which had no waitress!!! Waited 10 minutes and told the next employee to walk past me I’m leaving if someone doesn’t take my order. He informed me that they should not have seated me here, «No Waitress»! I gave him the stink eye and he took our drink and food order! I don’t understand, the place was very busy! Our food finally came and we hate it! During, I noticed the person bussing the tables was using the same dirty cloth to go from table to table and then throwing it across his shoulder,(Clothes and skin touched it!) Then the bill never came, got up and left, they found a bill! I mentioned everything to the manager, now I know where the problem is, same mindless stare!!! Never again! FYI several restaurants in the area buss the tables, spay them with a mld disinfectant, lit it stand for couple minutes, then come back and wipeout down with paper towels and throw those towels away, to those establishments I have sang praise!

First and last time I ever am eating here. Girl screwed up my order. Asked for berries and cream waffles.(Different berries with creamy filling on the waffles) Instead she gives me waffles with whipped cream on top and no berries. Asked why she gave me regular waffles and I ordered berries and cream waffles. She just comes back with a cup of blueberries. NO. My boyfriend also found a booger in his pancakes. Yes, a booger. Just go to the IHOP in Selma.

After getting the family haircuts we walked over to IHOP. I ordered the fried chicken and the other 4 family members order breakfast for lunch. After waiting for what seemed to be forever especially for a 6 year old. It was about 45 minutes and here comes a plate of super burnt chicken. Starving I cut into it and it tasted like beef jerky. Obviously burnt. The waitress apologized and Said it would take 12 minutes for a new plate. I declined. The manager came over and asked me what was wrong with the chicken, I told him it was burnt. He informed me it wasnt burnt and that is how they cook it. I told him that they burn all their chicken then and I still didnt want it. He told me he wouldnt charge me for it. Oh well Thanks. WE wont be going back.

Just got home from having breakfast for dinner. The restaurant was not very busy, maybe six or eight tables in use, however the service was painfully slow. Something must have happened in the kitchen. Two members of our party got their food after fifty minutes and the other two ten minutes later. The manager checked us out at the register and when I relayed how poor the service was he did not seem to care.

I always like coming to this IHOP. I’m not a big breakfast person but this is the place I go when I’m in the mood. The staff is always nice. I avoid weekends here because there’s always a long wait. Weekdays aren’t as busy and typically get a table right away. I got the ol’ Rooty Tooty fresh and fruity. It was perfect, eggs were perfect, bacon was cooked perfect. I don’t like them to crunchy. Only compliant would be from my mom who likes her hash browns well done, like burnt. They were lightly cooked, which in my opinion is perfect but not my mothers.

For IHOP, it’s been good. The restaurant is crowded but only a 5 minute wait. The waiter was friendly, quick, and took or order without writing it down… Let’s see how he does. Chris did a good job. All the food was made to order and tasted good. He cleared our plates when we needed it but did hover. A good IHOP.
