Carl’s Jr

In the past they’ve been really good about getting the order correct and making some good food, but the last 2 times (both this week) I went and tried to order a bacon swiss crispy chicken sandwich, it’s been something completely different. The first time (I think Monday ⁸⁄₂₄) I ended up with a beef patty with a slice of swiss cheese, and little bacon pieces with the correct bun, and today I ended up with a normal burger bun with grilled chicken, american cheese, and a huge pepper. Completely dissapointed

Ordered Original six dollar burger combo with small drink, was almost 10 dollars! Small drink was 1.89, almost 2 dollars for a small cup of sugar and water, 2.69 for seasoned fries, yikes, that’s almost 3 dollars, for fries? Sure, they’re seasoned but you still don’t get many in that little paper container, about 6 – 7. The burger was 4 dollars, that’s reasonable. Almost 2 dollars for a small drink, almost 3 dollars for a few seasoned fries, that’s outrageous. They just lost my business, I’ll never go there again until they are more reasonable, I remember when fast food fries and drinks were more near .50 cents. 10 bucks for small drink, burger and fries? I don’t think so.

The best part about this place is the breakfast. Specifically, the fresh biscuits they make. The fries are average and the quality of the prepared food is what you expect from a fast food restaurant. Friendly service, but sometimes you can wait awhile in the drive thru

The customer service here is great. The guys are really friendly and treat me with kindness and respect. They encourage customers to let them know if there’s anything they can do for us. They are really friendly. Love it here!

I am very happy with the Carl’s Jr in Scotts Valley. Service inside is very good and I am very happy with the menu. Watch for their coupons and sign up for the smart phone app.

It’s 2:08pm, as we were paying, I noticed four cars parked to the right of the drive thru pick up window. Moments later, a guy walked by and delivered food to one of the cars. Sure enough, they asked us to also park to the right with the other cars. It’s after 2pm, after rush lunch hour… what’s the hold up? This place is always slow, terrible at getting orders right, and full of teens who can’t figure out how to make an order right.
On a different occasion, my order was incorrect (I was missing one kids meal and charged for it). When I went inside to get the other one, the girl who took my order told me it wasn’t her fault because she took down the order correctly and blamed the guy near her. That guy got defensive and they started arguing. I told them I didn’t care whose fault it was, it was wrong and I wanted my other meal. The male teen said to me «you can’t talk to us that way» and started yelling at me while calling me incompetent (irony here). Nice. Never mind my present children. I ended up walking out of there.
Big mistake today giving them a second chance. I will never return to again.

Don’t order the ham, cheese and egg biscuit. Everything was green!!! The eggs were green! I bet one of the requirements to work here is reading Dr. Seuss’s Green eggs and ham… Disgusting s**t! Eek! Methinks not.

Well now all Carl’s Jrs seem to have the biscuits like this one did when it opened. This one is still above average in quality compared to most other Carls’ Jr. locations. Would be nice if they were open a bit later.

i ordered two bacon westerns and one was spit in! Come on! if u happen to eat check your food! (i have only been to this Carls once or twice so this was random) hope u underpaid assholes get fired for this one!

Sign says they open at 6:00 AM but I have walked there 3 different times, around 6:30am, on different Friday’s only to find the doors locked with the staff inside. Change the hours on the sign or open the doors!

Ordered food came (during a 5 minute window) and was both wrong and burnt (!!!). Fries were cold. Soda machine wasc poorly adjusted/​maintained (low syrup). TV was too loud and they refused to turn it down. You’d think that they’d eventually figure this stuff out, but apparently not. Won’t be back.

I’m not even sure where to begin. The food was fine, and my wife and I came in for dinner in the early evening. A woman came in and changed her baby’s diaper on a table in the dining room. The employees watched and did nothing! I called the manager out, who did NOTHING! Then the woman moves to another table, because the old table was dirty and had had a diaper on it, and then started breast feeding out in the open, wiping her baby’s face and throwing the napkins on the table. The «manager» did NOTHING! Then because table #2 was dirty, she went to table number three with her family to eat. I have NEVER been so disgusted in my whole life, and the fact the staff, including the «manager», did NOTHING was infuriating.
Someone could die from that bacteria, and the staff nor the manager ever cleaned any of the tables during all of this even after notifying them of it – they didn’t want to deal with it. I am reporting them to the local health department. It was the most repugnant dining experience my wife and I have ever experienced, and if they were so negligent in dealing with keeping the dining room safe and clean, I can’t imagine what goes on in the back room where no one can see them preparing the food.

well nothing new it‘s the same no matter where you go. carls jr is ok but this crew sucks! where to start; how about seeing employees smoking a joint by the garbage. thank god my kids were not with me. What happen to Scotts valley???

The people who work here are awesome! The food is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. So glad to finally have a Carls in our area.

Went through the drive through and received a compliment from the server about my nails.

Okay, back to the review.
The shakes were made well, our 5 orders were intact and correct, however the malt in the chocolate milkshake was non-​existent.
For the middle of no-​where, this Carl’s Jr. was well-​run, was clean, and had a great staff of kind people. When you are heading to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz, make sure to stop by Carl’s Jr. for your food and compliments.

This was my first and last time. I will never eat here again.
I went through the drive-​thru and the french fries I got were cold, and since the sweet potato fries were hot, I know they can make hot fries. Because of the fries, I checked the salads that I ordered, and for the price, Carl’s Jr. seriously overcharges. Four bite-​sized pieces of chicken on each salad. So, I said something to the cashier and had to pull over to wait for more fries. They threw in another piece of chicken for the salads.
A few minutes into the drive I reached for my soda… guess what, that was left out of the order. I pulled over, called on my cell phone, confirmed that I had indeed ordered a soda, and went back. By this time, the employee was a bit miffed at me, and thrust the soda through the drive-​thru window.
And, the Carl’s Jr Superstar burger? Not something my husband would ever eat again.
