Very friendly staff, fresh food, and pretty good for fast food. My visit they weren’t very busy but they didn’t serve me gross old food that’s been sitting in heat pans like most fast food places. Solid place for lunch! Maybe a bit on the unhealthy side though: p

Just have to say that your employees are all terrific, but the best of them is David, always, friendly, cheerful, efficient, thanks!

When it first opened, it was lovely inside — good salads, homey fireplace. Went there again this evening — ick. The place was dirty — wrappers on the ground, ketchup smeared on the garbage can and ketchup dispensers. And worst of all, we could hardly get in the front door, because the overly-full garbage can was blocking the doorway.

To the owner/managers of this Jack in the Box: HIRESOMEMOREEMPLOYEES. Every time I come here the drive thru line is swamped because there is only one frazzled — looking employee. It takes me almost 15 minutes just to get a simple iced coffee. Every worker I have encountered here has been kind, friendly and apologetic despite how stressed they seem to be. Please do them and your customers a favor by hiring more staff.

Great breakfast menu here. If you don’t mind fast food, then this is the place to go that beats McDonald’s hands down! Their shakes are the best around the area, also I don’t go thru the drive thru very often because it takes a long time often. Great place to go when you get the mumchies

Ok, last night went in at 1130 and there were two guys running the show, you can see really well over the granite countertops what the kitchen is doing, wow, amazing! These guys are great perfect place to stop on the way to Santa Cruz. Very fresh and hot!

I got in and out at 2pm on a Saturday, so they were far from busy — bonus all around. My slightly off-center order came out correctly and quick, and the restaurant and restrooms were tidy(at least as tidy as I’ve come to expect for such places, so no complaints here.) The fireplace in the north wall is a homey little touch, though hardly needed this particular visit.

Seriously, I don’t understand how this place gets such horrible reviews. This place is one of the cleanest Jack-in-the-Box is I’ve ever seen. It is three times as nice as the one in Santa Cruz. The food is always hot and well-made, it even has a fireplace. The service is what you would expect. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s great, but I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. The worst thing about this Jack-in-the-Box is finding it. It’s literally all the way at the end of nowhere. When you were driving up the street you pass the gas stations and still wonder where it is. I’m coming here several times, and it is always quiet and friendly and well decorated. Most of all, like I said though, the food is good and the service is passable if not great. The bathrooms are clean, but they have the usual graffiti. But if you compare this to any other Jack-in-the-Box in Santa Cruz, this is like the Ritz Carlton

I very rarely eat fast food but last night I had«the munchies» and this place is on my way home so I stopped in. The food was pretty tasty and reasonably priced as you might expect from a fast food place but what really impressed me was they saw my dog Tootsie sticking her head out the window and one of the workers came up and gave her a dog biscuit. Once my order was ready and they saw Toot’s staring back at them they gave her another biscuit! I always give props for dog friendly!

So the monster tacos are back thank you Jack you’re the fin man. I was always a huge fan of the monster taco at $.99 now they’re 1. 29 you know everything is going up in price, but I’m not getting paid more. Lol two tacos and a cup of water because I’m on a diet. Man this water taste like sewage from the water treatment plant. Well I’m going to stop Unilocaling and eat my taco.

Quick service. Nice people. Stopped in for some food to go over the weekend. My mates said the burgers were warm, and my salad was cold, so it was all good.

WOW this trip was like a scene out of the movie ‘jackass’. We pulled up to the window and paid for two seperate orders(driver and passenger). While we waited for the order could hear the drive through worker and front end working to bag our orders then hear«toss it in the bag». My ears perked up and thought«nooo they wouldnt say something that stupid infront of customers». So we left and when I looked in my bag the french fries were upside down! I just stared at the bag and tried to think if it was the drive back or some realistic reason how they ended up TOTALLY upside down. Not tilted… not bounced but the bottom of the container was facing the top of the bag! Even worse I had noo napkins… and thats not the first time this place did that to me! I mean I’m all for saving tree’s but please… give me one napkin or put a sign out saying ‘optional ask or you wont get one’. BLEH — This place would have better staff if they hired the crew from ‘Mystery science theater 3000’ At least then you would know what type of ‘help’ you’re getting.

I’ve been here 3 times and here’s another quick review of mine: Food = 2⁄5. The burgers and fries were lukewarm when they gave them to me. Service = 4⁄5 The employees were enthusiastic and got my order right all 3 times. Atmosphere = 5⁄5 Very modern and clean all 3 times I went there. Bathroom = 4⁄5 They do keep an eye on the bathrooms and make sure it is clean. Drive-Thru = N/A because I never used it. Three stars because the food matters most. If they can master that then I will be going there more often.

I mean its Jack in the Box, not a restaurant, so i don’t go in with this high expectation of quality service. That being said… I am comparing this place to the closest one, which is in Santa Cruz, and the difference in tremendous. They do kind of care about their food here, as opposed to Santa Cruz, where they do give two fucks. The service is better and faster, contrasting to Santa Cruz… they don’t give two fucks. The place is always very clean and generally not busy at all. They keep it a little cold though. Anyways, hope this helps.

We were a party of 8 and probably brought in $ 70 or $ 80 for this location. The service was very slow. The restaurant, though very clean and may have been freshly remodeled, was cold. Bathroom was tidy. One of my friends used the restroom towards the end of our visit and was followed by the male employee on duty. This employee approached my friend while he was using the urinal and asked that he please tell his noisy friend to quiet down and that he was receiving complaints from other customers.(there was only one other set of customers in the dining room and after they received their food, they never moved from their spot.) As we were a larger group, we were admittedly noisy and would have responded respectfully if we had been made aware that we were causing a problem. However, approaching my poor friend while his junk was in his hand peeing was extremely awkward and inappropriate. And of course, they messed his order up twice. Jack in the Box, Scotts Valley, may have scarred him for life. Another friend of mine did approach this same employee and apologize for the noise afterwards to which that employee responded that we had been no problem at all. Probably won’t be visiting this place again unless I’m looking for a bathroom buddy.

My God, this place is a laughing stock. I rarely go to fast food places, but a friend of mine that I was hanging out with for the evening said we should drop by there for a burger and some fries. I thought, sure, why not? Nice little treat and something different from what I usually have. It took 15 minutes to get the food via drive through, AND they messed up the order. They had us pull into the parking lot to wait, as they did with other cars. It was really disorganized and pitiful. When I noted to the«runner» as he called himself, that they brought the wrong items, he said I’d need to go inside to fix it. I told him no thanks, and I accepted what I got. What a waste of time and money. Why couldn’t this have been an In ‘n’ Out??? At least they treat you right and have GREAT food, even if it is fast food!
