Always remember to check your order — DONOT rely on getting what you ordered from this drive thru. Not getting my order or my complete order is a fairly regular occurrence at this store.

A heartfealt thank you goes out to the person running the drive-thru at about 7:30 this evening. You were so rude, when I got to the front of the line, I kept going. Had you been competent and civilized, I would have consumed probably 1,500 nutrition-less calories that I do not need(does anyone need them???). I came through the drive-thru and placed the first part of my order three times. You did not hear me. I increased my volume. You accused me of yelling at you. When I explained I was speaking louder since you couldn’t hear me(obviously) you told me you didn’t need me to be rude. You were very aggressive, passive, and otherwise. You went back and forth yelling at me and giving me the silent treatment. In spite of having waited in line for a good ten(probably more) minutes, I just kept kept going when I got to the front of the line. Thanks!!!

Yeah., this mc Donald’s is a joke… doesn’t care about its customers or crappy food it serves. I will not return! I am calling corporate as well. the owner is a cheap bitch and makes his employees sell old, cold, greasy, nasty food. Oh but you like med or large? Aww hell no! What a joke! Some fool of a kid tried to serve me cold ass fries last night and then he got all pissy and through a fit when I told him they were cold. There shouldn’t be cold fries period. Especially with a drive thru line around the corner. Just plain ass lazy shitty employees. Don’t go here?. You’d have a better day if u stood on my hermon and threw ur money down the storm drain. If talked to a supposed district manager in the past and by his attitude you could tell he doesn’t give a crap either. Sad sad sad!

horrible experience I had to wait a very long time because they are now having people repeat orders after they are done ordering and repeat when you get to the window… I honestly think it is a waste of time especially when the screen tells you what your order is… I had to wait 5 minutes for my order… I am not satisfied

Don’t you just hate it when a business tries to nickle and dime the customer to death by charging for something you should be getting for free? Case in point… McDonald’s at 259 Mt. Hermon Road, Scotts Valley. My guess is that the manager thought he was the smartest, low level manager in history when he decided to charge $ .30 for an extra Hot Mustard Sauce which is typically served with the Mcnuggets. It seems that the more we tolerate this kind of rip off, the more they try to put one over on the customer. I am in this location at least once or twice a week with my kids and spend an average ticket of $ 20.00. So over a $.05 item you lost $ 1040.00 on gross sales because I won’t be back. Way to go! Outstanding business acumen! Get a grip… The Burger King down the street is just as good and doesn’t up-charge on condiments. You don’t offer anything that special and alienating your customers is not going to improve your bottom line.

Two weeks in a row I’ve stopped here on Sunday morning to get something to eat. Ordered the exact same thing both times. Both times it’s made me sick. Guess I’ll just have to stop someplace else on Sunday mornings from now on. I’m not McLovin it

So I had been going to this McDonald’s regularly in the early morning hours before going in to work. Most times no problem but the last time I was there I got so mad I decided to NEVER go there again. It was the third time I had pulled into the drive thru and waited patiently for someone to take my order. After about 6 or 7 minutes I give up and pull up to the window. No one appears so I pull up their info on my phone and call them. The first two times they answer and express great shock that I am at the window but haven’t been able to actually place my order. The third time it happens I make my phone call, a woman answers and acts like she doesn’t hear me and hangs up. I try again but now the phone just rings and rings. No one answers. I see the drive thru window is not all the way closed so I reach over and open it. I call out ‘hello! hello!’ but no one comes. By now I’m pretty irritated and frustrated and hungry so I try honking my horn. Still no one comes. I really don’t know what else I can do to get their attention and then suddenly here comes a woman with the headset on seemingly surprised to see me. She asks me ‘did you give me your order?’ and I truthfully answer no, and then I ask her did she ask me for my order? This seems to confuse her and then another car pulls up behind me. I figure out she has taken that persons order and doesn’t have a clue where I came from. Mind you, she never once asked me if she could take my order, she just kept asking me if I gave her my order. She then tells me to pull around again so that the car behind me can get their order. I tell her no, I’m not moving. I figure if I have been trying for 25 minutes to place my order she can wait 25 minutes for me to move. I know, pretty childish but I was so pissed at the level of incompetency and stupidity I guess I just lowered my expectations to match! I asked why didn’t she take my order and she told me because ‘the other guy had the headset’. I asked why didn’t he take my order then and she said I don’t know. Honestly I have no idea what they were doing while I was trying to place my order but they certainly were not doing their jobs. I had planned on calling the owner during the day but haven’t. By the looks of the other comments I doubt he pays any attention. It seems the poor behavior continues. I don’t miss going there at all!

Found a red hair in my fries. It took forever for fresh ones cause they decided to clean the frier on a busy Saturday evening. Also it they never get my order complete. I’m always missing either fries or burger.

I live in Scotts Valley and have eaten at this McDonalds Many times over the last 20 years. The people are always friendly and the food is always consistent. I would recommend the filet of fish meal with a couple of $ 1 hamburgers a large Carmel Frappé and 2 apple pies. My Favorite.

This place is awful. You go through the drive through, and place your order. After you wait for any kind of acknowledgement that you are even there,(sometimes a few minutes) and after you’re done placing your order, Its actually typed on the screen, and on the menu board, they say, sorry we don’t have that anymore. I think inside are just a bunch of monkeys humping a football. I’ve tried a few times, and always seem to have an issue. I’m done here.

I ordered food at the drive thru. The person taking the order clearly wasn’t trained properly or just was not able to handle the job. Food was left out of our order. The so called manager on duty, some young kid, was rude. The food we did receive seemed like it had been sitting out for some time and was not edible. Will never return! If I could give no stars that would be the rating.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The employees are clueless and beyond rude, the food is usually missing, wrong, or stale, and apparently the management is good with that. Never going here again.

Hands down the most shockingly horrible experience I have ever had at ANY restaurant, drive-through or not. I pulled into the drive-through with three other people in my car on New Years Eve at about midnight. We pull up to the speaker box only to be greeted with giggling, followed by a reluctant«Hi, welcome to McDonald’s.» I asked for a couple of minutes to figure out what we all wanted. After a few minutes I started to place our order, which started out to be 40 chicken nuggets. The response over the speaker was, I kid you not, «Ugh, GOD.» Someone in my car wanted to change it to 80, thinking of our roommates at home, to which we got the same response-«Ugh, GOD.» Not wanting to piss off the rude employee any more than we already did, I said just keep it at 40. She then said, rather sharply, «Just let me know when you’re actually ready.» Not knowing what to do, we waited about a minute and then got her attention over the speaker box saying we wanted the 40 nuggets. She asked if there was anything else, to which I nicely asked if we could make the 2 orders meals. She completed our order with much hesitation. She then instructed us to pull up to the second window to pay and collect our food. We pull up to find two girls with bright orange hair, obviously proud of their performance. Another male employee took my money while the two orange-haired girls messed around in the background, laughing and giving each other looks. One of them kept noticeably rolling her eyes at us, especially when handing over the drinks and straws. They kept disappearing and running around the store like children. One of them snuck up to the window and then popped up suddenly(as one would when playing ‘peek-a-boo’ with an infant) and loudly made noise while wiggling her fingers near her head, I’m assuming to ‘scare’ us. The other one sat in the background and laughed her ass off. We waited there for about 15 – 20 minutes before getting our food. Needless to say, we were expecting some kind of spit or something in our meals and were very hesitant to eat anything or even drink our cokes. Not only did they purposefully make us wait an extraordinarily long time for our food, but they held up 2 – 3 cars behind us as well. The gentleman who actually gave us the bags of food appeared to be a manager or something because he was wearing a different uniform, however it is hard to fathom a manager that would willingly put up with that kind of behavior. I doubt he didn’t know what was going on seeing as the girls made a loud scene wherever they went. They should not be working in food service.

I just experienced one of the most distasteful customer service experiences I have had in a long while. I was in the drive through. I ordered my meal and proceeded to drive on up to the window to pay. The window opened and I saw a young girl(brownish hair, pancake make-up to attempt to cover her acne, dimple in her chin) thrust her hand out to grab my card… no *hi*, *hello*, nothing. She turns around and must have given her coworker a *look* since her coworker says, loud enough for me to hear, «What was THAT look for?» Once finished with the transaction, she hands me back my card and slams the window in my face as I wait for my order. She still has not said ONEWORD to me. Opens window, hands me my coke, slams window closed. I wait a few minutes, she comes back, opens the window, gives me my meal(at this point I’m worried she spit in it as obviously she has some sort of issue with me or the world), I say«THANKYOU» since I’m polite like that… she sort of grimaces(or was that the way she smiles???) and says, «Yeah.» Slams the window again. Does it suck THAT bad to work at McDonald’s that you must take it out on your customers for absolutely NO reason at all? I am never anything but kind and understanding as I’ve worked such low-level, low wage jobs myself… maybe this was a sign that it’s time to stop polluting my body with the waste that is McDonald’s lest I become a sour faced wench, bitter at the world?

Let me start off by saying that I come to this location a lot because it is close to home. For a long time the quality and service here were very decent. However over the last 90 days things have been going down hill. The last three times I have come in the sweet tea is empty. I go to the counter and say: «excuse me but the sweet tea is empty» before I can finish my thought the supervisor is playing 20 questions with the employees. Meanwhile I’m standing there cup still empty. I shouldn’t have to explain to the shift supervisor that I’m not looking for a report on why it’s empty in looking for you to grab my cup and fill it up from the drive thru dispenser. And Maybe we could train some of these new people to fill the ketchup dispensers and not sweep the floors right next to a person eating. Also there is no reason that managers should be having a pow wow with 2 or 3 employees in the back corner of dining area while there are dirty table tops, no ketchup cups, and 8 people standing in line…

5 stars for awesome, friendly staff. The food is the same as every other McDonald’s but the staff here are just so pleasant and real. I feel like I need to put these people on my Christmas card list. Quotes from my recent visit: «We’re just waiting for your McNuggets, you’re welcome to take the rest of your food and we’ll bring you the missing items as soon as they are ready.» «We accidentally made an extra ice cream. Would you like to have it?»

As normal I have a lot to say, but this is not the place to say it. I do thanks McDonald’s as it is one of the only places I do not have to argue with my kids on what to eat and what they like to eat, they like most things from the menu. As for me I will only eat here from time to time, but when needed it is good to know I can always find a McDonald’s. As for this location, it looks like a retro McDonald’s from the outside which is fun to see. The outside area is kept up clean and the landscaping is done very well, as they just need to make sure all the trash is kept up, and they do it as I seen nothing outside. The inside of this location is clean, but the floor needed a mopping while we were there especially in front of the soda machine, it is funny how many people have trouble with these machine and can’t keep the soda in the cups. I guess people just need to improve their aim. The employees are young, but at least the employee that helped me this day was happy and actually it looked like he was ready to go on break, but he made sure our order was completed before signing out and making sure we had everything we needed, so for that I will give this McDonald’s an extra star, other than that it is just an average McDonald’s.

This is a nice McDonald’s! It was pretty GHETTO up until recently when it underwent a major renovation and redecoration project. Now the location is clean and new. The décor is modern, sleek, and posh. The food is consistent McDonald’s food. Nothing exceptional, but everything you have come to expect and love(or hate) about Mickey D’s.
