The Medicine Shoppe

Unfortunately service has declined at Medicine Shoppe, and I’ve had to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere.
Because they are such a small pharmacy, there can be a considerable wait (days) for them to get new prescriptions that they don’t have in stock. I’m not convinced they stock anything besides those prescription drugs that already exist. expect a 2 – 5 day wait.
The pharmacist who owns this location does not know how to use the computer, and relies heavily on the pharmacy technicians to operate it for her. Apparently she doesn’t know how to use voicemail either, because I have left numerous voicemails with no reply – and when I call to confirm that they have received my message, she is completely clueless. Jessica is a great pharmacy tech, and I’ve had nothing but excellent interactions with her. There is also another tech who is great, but I can’t remember her name.
Yesterday when I went to go get my prescriptions, there was a different tech working alone at the pharmacy. She did not know how to operate the register. I waited 5 minutes when she was trying to figure out the computer, and finally she just asked me to pay her cash, exact change, so she could figure out the computer after I left. This is ridiculous and highly unprofessional. I ended up having to pay half of my bill in quarters because I didn’t have enough bills. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Sorry Medicine Shoppe, it was great while it lasted.
