When we ordered a hamburger with pickles, ketchup, and lettuce. We were told it came with one pickle and if we wanted more pickles we had to pay. If we wanted lettuce we had to pay more too. Ok so we did even though it felt ridiculous to pay for extra pickles. One seems lame. But the true reason for the complaint was the hard crunchy french fries. Cold, hard, and very old. This meal came to $ 3.49 and we felt cheated.

I know that writing a review for a McDonalds seems silly. But I feel like it’s my civic duty to forewarn anyone who decides to come to this McDonald’s. When coming to this McDonald’s you can expect two things. More expensive menu(then other McDonald’s) and frumpy workers. The menu itself is more expensive then any other McDonald’s in the area which I’m assuming the reason is that this one is privately owned. The owner up charges you on any size soft drink an extra 39¢ even though you are supposed to be able to get any size drink for just 99¢. Not only this, they charge extra for a packet of bbq sauce! This is ridiculous, any other McDonald’s I go to gives them to you for free. Another thing I’d point out is that there is a girl worker who looks like a creature from a horror movie who shaves half of her head and is super rude when she takes your order. One time I was handing her my debit card and she had greeted me at the drive up window, she asked how my day was and I was so zoned out I didn’t reply. When she handed back my card she then gave me attitude saying«it’s fine, nobody every listens to me anyways.» Making me feel bad for not initiating a conversation with her when she was giving me sassy attitude to start with. I definitely steer away from this McDonald’s and go to the one at Westwood Village

Nothing is ever in stock. The food is always cold. Orders messed up 9 out of 10 times. Worst customer service. Creepy staff. Poor management.

This McD’s has saved my behind when I’ve worked 60+ hours in a week and I have nothing but a can of beans and condiments in the fridge due to a lack of time to grocery shop. The prices at this location are higher than a regular McD’s since they know they have you captured on an «island.» That said, the various times I’ve been here, the staff has always been polite and/or funny with me and they don’t keep me waiting. Also, the parking lot is clean and there’s never a line in the drive thru. I haven’t gone inside — the whole time thing. Also, my orders are always right which is a rarity in the fast food world. They also pay attention with what I say when most people make me repeat what I’m saying a few times at the drive thru speaker. The food? Well, you know what the food tastes like.

Bad Policy, Rude Manager Ok, so this review requires my admitting that I go to McDonald’s periodically — which I know is already not the sharpest thing for me to do if I’m trying to eat more healthily… That said, generally the people who work here are very nice. But this evening I ran smack into a *BADPOLICY* and a bit of a *RUDEMANAGER* when asking for a cup of ice water at the drive-thru. Living nearby and stopping there occasionally, I didn’t think they would mind my simply asking for ice water sans buying something this time. The young man running the drive-thru said, «You have to buy something if you want water.» «Even though I’m a regular customer!?» I asked? «I treat every customer the same,» he said. «It’s our policy.» «Are you a manager?» I asked. «No.» I then requested to speak with the manager. When she came on she repeated, «You have to buy something [if you want water].» «Even if I’m a regular customer?» I exclaimed. «We don’t know if you are,» she quipped. «Well, you’ll certainly be losing a regular customer with that approach!» I retorted(leaving, likely for good, shortly thereafter). Gaw! Really? Since when does a restaurant or a movie theater or even a concession stand choose to lose a customer over a blasted cup of ice water, I ask you?! Grrrrr…

Prices here are more expensive than other McDonalds in the Puget Sound area. Floor was quite littered. There is a 30 minute limit to your stay. There is outside seating which is nice.

This is about as good as a mcdonalds gets, at least in my opinion. Take it from me, I used to work at one for 2 years in high school. I know what a good Big Mac looks like and I most definitely know the difference between right and wrong procedures. Very few times I’ve had complaints, and those complaints were minor, like forgetting napkins during a crazy breakfast rush, no biggy. Drive thru is speedy, and I really do like the staff here. They’re friendlier than most, maybe it’s because I go here too often and we’re on a first name basis now. Dining area inside is fairly clean. It’s a mcdonalds, don’t get your hopes too high. They even have a small garden type thing outside so you can enjoy your artery-clogging goodness in fresh air when the weather permits. Good job, Cali Ave McD’s. You get an A+ from me.

This was a good McDonald’s. They had a great salad and my dressing — Low Fat Italian(some don’t carry it). It was clean and the help was very friendly.

I love this MCD’s — the better one in West Seattle. The other location always forgets something in my order. Thus one on California has friendly workers and know me by my order. These folks work hard so I appreciate the great service… way better than Luna Park where waitress attitudes may vary!

This location is extremely fast and accurate. The cute little drive-thru girl let me take a funny snapchat picture of her — what a doll.(I’m a weirdo.) They do need to make sure to always have oatmeal raisin cookies on the ready, though. BECAUSETHEYARETHEBESTAND I DON’T LIKEWAITING (Tip: don’t go in the afternoon on weekdays; West Seattle High School is across the street and kids are milling around everywhere.)

I’m not going to lie: I pretty much think McDonald’s is the greatest thing ever. So take this review with a grain of salt, even though I realize no Unilocaler is realistically basing their decision about whether to eat fast food on my review. That said, here are three reasons why McDonald’s is the greatest thing ever. 1. GOLDENARCHESOFFREEDOM. No matter where you go, from Austria to Zaïre, the golden arches are a recognizable beacon of happiness and joy. The restaurant provides a fantastic place for unskilled workers to earn a living and learn valuable skills they can translate into management positions or take in different directions. 2. EMBODIESTHESPIRITOFAMERICA. The restaurant chain’s success has everything to do with some of the qualities we hold most dear: efficiency, friendliness, and hard work. 3. THOSEFRIESAREOFF. THE. CHAIN. Enough said.

Worst experience I ever had! The sign outside offer«buy one Big Mac and get one free», but when I asked for my second burger I was told that I didn’t qualify because I had bought the Big Mac«meal». The employee was haughty and rude. I asked to speak to the Manager and she got very loud, argumentative and very rude with me in front of the other customers. I ask why I wasn’t informed of the details of the promo before i purchased the meal. She said it was not their responsibility. She refused to honor their posted promotion. It was the worst Customer Service I ever saw at any McDonald’s… I will never go there again!

After I eat here I wish I could gargle with Drano. Ever notice how McDonalds food leaves some kind of lingering film in your mouth. Kinda like when you get gasoline on your hands and can’t wash off the smell. Never again will I go here!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off, let me say, this is a review of ALL McDonald’s because they are ALL the same. For a corporate, chain, fast-food establishment they sure have the PROCESS of making food down to a calculated science. Clocks, buzzers, timers, beeping. It’s got to drive you crazy to work at a place like that. Respect to the employees of McDonald’s. *hands in pray position, bow* If you’ve had a Big Mac in Nashville you’ve had one in Pawtucket. Chicken Nuggets in Dover are the same in Sacramento. If I ever want to get sick and sh*t myself, I’ll be sure to hit up one of their 12,804 locations, in the U.S. alone. Billions and billions served. Served what? No really… where’d that sh*t come from. Thanks Icky D’s. Thanks for nothing.

We have three McD’s in West Seattle; this location on California near Morgan, one further north on CA Ave. across from West Seattle High School, and the third at Westwood Village. I don’t know if this is a franchise store, or a Corp store, but of all the McD’s in WS, this is the best in terms of service, cleanliness and food. Which isn’t saying much, since this is McDonald’s we’re talking about after all. But when your 4 year old is hungry and you want to «treat» her to a Happy Meal once a month or so, it’s worth it for me to make the extra few minute drive to this location over the other two. Great indoor seating(CLEAN), great bathrooms(CLEAN), hot and freshly made food, super friendly staff that go above and beyond to make sure your order is right, and if it isn’t, to make sure it’s corrected quickly. I can’t say the same for the other two locations in West Seattle on any level.
