The phở was okay, the broth is kind of sweet. They give a good amount of meat. The person that helped me didn’t really speak English at all, I had to point at the menu for what I wanted. The owner is a very sweet lady. The heater goes on and off so I was freezing cold and then blazing hot. I also bought an avocado smoothie and I did not get one, instead it was a melon flavored drink and I asked her again if it was an avocado smoothie and she insisted it was. It did not even have the consistency of a smoothie. And it was $ 4 for a 12oz drink, I could have gone across the street to get exactly what I wanted for less.

Forget about the horrible history of this restaurant. The new owners and the new management deserves a fresh new start without judgement from that past. I am sure glad I ate here because this will be one of my to go spots for Vietnamese food. With a huge menu, they offer more than just phở. You can order individual plates or family style. I just can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try this place given the fact that I live so close! Better late than never. PROS: Ambiance: Typical Vietnamese décor. Very plain, nothing fancy or modern but it is clean. Cleanliness is the more importance factor. The restaurant is also very spacious. Service: The family oriented owners are very nice and attentive. Waters being refilled without asking. Our food came out pretty quickly. Price: Typical/Decent Parking: They have their own parking lot adjacent to Basin Robbins. Food: I came with my husband and brother. Together we ordered the chicken wings(fried in butter), spring rolls, bun bo hue, phở dac biet, iced coffee and che 3 mau(3 bean dessert). Everything was pretty good. The chicken wings were very hot and crunchy with great seasoning without being too salty. The spring rolls had a great veggie-meat-noodle ratio. They also added a fried egg roll wrapper inside each spring roll for a crunch factor, it definitely enhanced the flavor. The phở was good. Great amount of meat and noodles. The broth was very meaty and flavorful. The only thing that I would say is that it was just a slight bit on the sweeter side. The bun bo hue was good. The broth was pretty flavorful and authentic. Nice hue punch after each sip of the broth. Not too much lemongrass which i liked. There was a good amount of meat(both beef and cha(pork roll)). The broth could have been a little hotter in the temperature. I love for all my soups to be steaming-burning the roof of your mouth hot. The broth that it was served cooled down pretty quickly. I will probably ask them to make it extra hot for me next time. The Che Ba Mau was decent. Great flavors. It was a little watery at the top(no due to the ice melting but it seemed like they added coconut juice instead of milk?) CONS: Coffee: That was the only thing that we did not like. It was very thick with chunks of coffee specks. Overall, this is a pretty solid new restaurant that deserves a chance! I will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Very tasty, reasonably priced, clean & bright. I had the vermicelli bowl and eggrolls and they were delicious. I couldn’t finish my bowl, there were so many noodles and salad. I will definitely come back again!

First off, there’s no WEED growing underneath the restaurant. For those who would rather know the history of the restaurant than the food itself, this place was leased to people who did illegal activities while managing the restaurant then got busted. Since then, it has been remodeled and indeed taken over by the people that owns the land. Very clean interior, nothing extraordinary but clean, which is basically a bonus for most Asian restaurants. The food is tasty and flavorful. They give you a good portion and lots of options to choose from, not just phở. Vegetarian options as well. Service is great. Attentive and friendly people. The owners are sweet and welcoming. Give this place a try if you are in the area, it is worth the visit!

I ordered a medium size phở dac biet and it was bland to me and noodles were super soggy. My biggest pet peeve is when phở restaurant serve you less soup that doesn’t cover the noodles in small bowls that doesn’t accommodate the size I also hate it when the herbs are super wet and soggy!!! Very disappointing will not come back

Great Thai ice tea also they use bone marrow instead of msg in their phở. This gave it a more flavorful and rich broth which I enjoyed drinking afterwards.

Went here yesterday with a couple of my friends. Treated to free Thai tea due to a free drink promotion, so that’s always a plus. As a vegan, I was happy to see a plethora of options! I got the tofu spring rolls and veggie phở. The broth was definitely exceptional compared to other phở restaurants I’ve been to. I also really like their style of tofu. As for service, the husband and wife working there are exceedingly kind and helpful. I love the family-oriented, and authentically Vietnamese, feel to the place. Our food also came pretty quick. Will definitely be back with more friends in tow!
