This isn’t your Sbarro’s… When you see a pizza in a food court, you kinda wonder a few things from«how long has it been sitting there» to «is it any good?» My experiences here have been very positive. I usually get the personal pizza($ 5.95) as opposed to the $ 2.99 slices… Not a fan of heat lamp pizza. It’s always been good. My gym(Planet Fitness… Check my review on em) buys pizza from them on every first Monday of the month for pizza day(kinda fun thing to have at a gym eh?). The crust is flavorful, the toppings are good quality, and the sauce is good. I like they aren’t so «heavy» in applying the sauce… Not a fan of an overly saucy pizza. So far so good. Not the best Pizza I had but pretty damn good. My best advice is to go for a personal pie or get a whole pizza as opposed to just a slice. I still haven’t gotten a slice from their warming case, but it’s common sense that a fresh pie is a better tasting pie. 4 bopity-boopie?-bippity-bopity-boopity-beh-Peter-just-because-you-have-a-mustache-doesn’t-mean-you-speak-Italian stars out of 5 Cheers!

The owner really needs to assess the quality and preparation of the food. I tried the place for the first time, and the pizza is really sub par. The crust was undercooked, there were almost no toppings, and the sauce was bland. The salad had too much dressing and it was wilted and not crisp lettuce. It’s a shame that the food is so bad. The staff was nice. It’s such a prime location and has so much potential. They have good décor and a fancy readerboard that make things look good. If they paid attention to the food they were serving, they might actually have a shot at keeping the place running. As it is, the pizza is perfect for 7 year olds who are used to school cafeteria pizza. It’s about the same quality.

It was food court pizza and I just bought a slice; for 3 bucks it was OK. My usual complaint is «Where’s the toppings» and they did nothing to overcome this. Taste was OK, sauce was sparse, toppings were sparse except for the green peppers. It was supposed to be pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, black olive and green pepper. There was lots of green pepper on my slice, 3 slices of pepperoni, couple of sausage, a few mushroom slices and one, that was ONLYONE mushroom slice. If they ever find their toppings for their slices I may come back.

I expected food court food and was pleasantly surprised. I had the thai chicken personal pizza. It was simple, crust was good. The chicken was quality. My son loved his cheese pizza, but that kinda goes without saying. My two year old ordered the kids spaghetti. He is allergic to dairy and the employees were VERY good about checking ingredients lists without my even asking to best serve us. They went above & beyond by showing me the meatballs were made with Romano cheese and offered the dairy free Italian pork sausage. The sauce on the spaghetti was quite yummy(i stole a bite). Then since my two year old didn’t finish the large kids portion, we boxed it up and I ate it for dinner that night. Service here was great and I will definitely eat here whenever we are at third place books!

I don’t understand what this restaurant is trying to do! A year or so ago it was a pizza place, but these days they have something like 42 flavors of soft-serve ice cream, pizza, hot dogs, and a plethora of other random items — including specials like a Mexi-salad and borscht. WTF?! So I’m not really sure what to categorize it as besides maybe… really unhealthy food? Whatever it is, I’m not all that impressed. BUT it must be said that the soft-serve ice cream is delicious. Hence, the two stars.

Well, it’s a food court pizza joint. Low expectations. Not bad. The salads are a little under par though.

Pizza is a subjective thing. I get it. Thank God for The Big Time. I’m not a Pagliacci guy. They drive me nuts. Overpriced & limp. This is more my speed. Sweet, bubbly crust w/good solid toppings. It’s reliable(same delicious pizza 3x in a row now). They’ll have my support as ‘the local pizza place’.

A new(and welcome) addition to the Third Place books food court area(aka«The Commons»). I was in the area for an appt around lunchtime today, so I figured I could find something up in the food court… low & behold a shiny new counter w/cool signs, easy to read(and no cheesy pics of dishes, yes I’m talking to you mexican & japanese restaurants) signage, and a variety of food from light to heavy. The have several«chop» type salads, some pasta & pizza options, frozen yogurt too. If I remember correctly, you can take their pizza home to bake for 25% off. I had a mediterranean chop salad, which was a great combination of iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, kalamata olives, green peppers, onions & cucumbers. Hardly used the vinaigrette(had it on the side) since the other flavors were so yummy & fresh. It took them a few minutes to make, but I was pleased because I could see them chopping everything up right then… no pre-made salads sitting in a cooler… Gotta love that for a fast-food type place! The salad was generously sized for $ 6.29(I didn’t finish the bottom layer of lettuce). And there is free Wi-Fi from the library nearby. Next time I’ll try to save some room for some fro-yo.
