Bagels are on, food is ok but the restaurant was about 85 degrees inside so it felt clammy and stuffy. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and any restaurant that ignores cleaning as much as they do here makes me gag.

Pleasantly surprised. Nice service. Good sized burritos with scrumptious ingredients. My daughter had the pesto chicken and loved it.

This is my first time ever at a Café de Croissant… I just read a few reviews and it sounds like it’s it’s a chain… bummer. I hope it’s a local chain! That would be awesome! I ordered their healthy choice egg sandwich on a croissant. It normally comes on wheat bread and has egg, tomato, spinach, avocado and cheese… yummmmm! I was quite surprised at how inexpensive it was also. Less than $ 6! What?! I should give an extra star for deliciousness level exceeding my expectations, the service was friendly, welcoming, informative and all around fabulous! I guess the only thing that doesn’t make this a 5 star establishment is the décor… but it’s not bad either. The food came fast, hot and FRESH! Yes please and Thank YOU! I really appreciate establishments that meet all my expectations and that is hard to do! ;) Croissants, bagels, sandwiches, pastries, swift and friendly service, plus good coffee, ok… I really could go on and on… I am really glad I checked this new lil spot out! Bravo café de Croissant!

Came here for breakfast, got an egg, cheese and sausage croissant sandwich. The croissant was fine, buttery and flaky but a bit undercooked. Not as bad as Costco or Burger King croissants but they don’t transport you to Paris either. Eggs were freshly cooked and they added jalapeño on request. Service was excellent and friendly. Latte was just OK. Bathrooms need some work,& they’re pretty beat up in fact the women’s restroom was closed. Overall one step up from fast food with many of the same options. Fine for basics and great service but I won’t hurry back here for the food.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Bigger selection than what you would think of coming from a «café». Nice, friendly, small staff. The croissants are to die for, very fresh. The one downside I would say is that they only have one register and when you have someone in front of you that can’t mKe their mind up, the wait might get kind of long and the staff gets a little frazzled. But they do their best to make up the time and rush the order out. Great place! By the way I go there almost weekly

Been to this place a number of times… some times it’s better then others. The last few visits it has been painfully slow… like 30 minutes for a sandwich slow, after a 10 minute wait to order. The food is decent, the coffee weak. The selection of pastrys is large and pretty tasty. Sometimes they have music being played inside, and the outside seating is a good touch.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Normally, I do not like to leave negative reviews, but this place is just awful. I have gone here at least 4 – 5 times since it opened(which wasn’t too long ago) and each time the food has been sub par. It’s gross food. The ingredients are cheap and frankly, I can make better food at home in my own toaster. I go to restaurants so that I can eat food that tastes better than what I can make, not worse. I’ve tried salads, croissants, breakfast burritos, sandwiches… each time there’s been an issue and I will no longer go to this place. The breakfast burritos have no flavor, the salads/lettuce they use is always old and rotting. I got a pesto sandwich and it ended up in the garbage. The bagel was old and hard, the lettuce was stained and old, the turkey was wet and cheap, cheap cheese… the only good part was the pesto which I ate, everything else met the trash can. I got a croissant to go one day and they put it in a bag. When I picked up the bag it felt extremely light so I took the croissant out and looked at it. There was no filling(it had obviously fallen out of the bottom of the tray when they picked it up). I went inside and looked at the tray and all the filling had fallen through the croissant to the tray. I can’t believe they tried to serve me a croissant that had no filling(it was supposed to be raspberry). I truly believe that the girl knew the croissant was«damaged» and still tried to serve it to me anyway hoping I wouldn’t notice since it was«to go». It was the last raspberry left, but she should have just told me what happened and offered a replacement. Really shady.

I normally only get a bagel or a flavored croissant here and it’s always good! Today I got the wild bore on a croissant, it was amazing! And the service is great. I highly recommend this place!

Calling all Sebastopolians and more! I just bought a soy latte here and it was just as GREAT as the famous and very busy coffee spot down the road. That place is always packed and this place seems it needs more business. We need to support small family business here in this town! My soy latte was also less expensive and they sold the latte to me hot, delicious and with a smile! Wow! It seemed to be a very cheerful mother /daughter team working the front counter. I also got an almond croissant that was delicious, buttery and FRESH! The people working there were super nice, I can’t emphasize that enough because I need nice at 7:30am in the morning! We need to support this little friendly, family owned establishment!(Because of the laws in our town they can not keep the drive through open but feel free to give a call on the way over and it can be used as a «pick up window.» Just not a drive through). Again, great service, delicious coffee /latte & fresh yummy croissant at the right price. What is not to LOVE? I will be back! Thanks ladies!

Café Des Croissants has many outlets in Santa Rosa, lst i’ve seen is here. lots like a former burger place with drive thru window.(jack?) menu: salads, hot/cold sammies, coffee, bagel, croissants, egg sammies, all day special menu(breakfast croissant, etc), etc. eats:breakfast special: sausage, egg, and jack cheese croissant w/coffee(5.99) –peerless organic french roast was fab. –croissant was strange, texture doughy. –croissant sammie interesting, filling –good value, single item ordering not a good value. take outs: –honest people here, forget my change, they gave it to me along with the sammie later.(long drive, awake but inattentive). –specials good value but not the greatest taste. fresh though. –lots of seating. –prep time, 10 minutes? –entrance very narrow lane, easy to miss, 2nd lane is exit one. 3.5 stars for the specials.

Love the bright, light, airy interior and the chessboard outside. Calling in an order ahead of time for pick up and grabbing it at the old drivethrough window is super convenient. Delicious breakfast burritos and very friendly, helpful staff!

Just ok croissants. The almond had meager filling. My husband had the sweet cheese that had ample filling. We ordered to go. I was annoyed that I felt pressure to tip for the counter help to put 2 pastries in a bag. There’s a sign on the tip jar that says; «Tipping isn’t just for cows!» We paid by credit card and they had a spot above where one would sign the name that says TIP $ 1, $ 2, or $ 3? What?

This place is new and is suffering growing pains as they hire and train enough people. I’ve never gotten the wrong order or stale items, as others have reported, but service is sometimes very slow. We’ve gotten into the habit of calling ahead and picking up at the window most of the time. We live within walking distance so go there pretty often. I already have 20 checks on my frequent eater card! We usually get breakfast croissants, fruit croissants, and/or coffee. Everything is delicious, with very large portions. I usually can eat only half of my breakfast croissant and have the rest for lunch. I strongly recommend you give this place a try.

I had high hopes for the once pasta restaurant turned croissant breakfast restaurant but alas, I was a bit disappointed. To be fair I did not try any of the croissants. I did, however, order the spicy breakfast burrito and my boyfriend ordered the garden salad with a coffee. The breakfast burrito was pretty decent and I enjoyed it but the garden salad was pretty pathetic and sad looking. The energy of the restaurant was that of stressed employees/owners which seemed to have led to un-bussed tables, running outside to ask questions about people’s orders, and serving a man at a table next to us the wrong sandwich even though there were only a couple people in the restaurant. They were also out of a lot of things that the woman in front of me was asking for. This place could really be something with the right management. I won’t totally dismiss it but it won’t be my favorite go-to breakfast place.

Well, it looks like I’m the odd man out here, but I had a really disappointing experience at Café Des Croissants. Went in on a weekday morning with my husband and one of our kids. There was no one at the counter, just a person in back making an order, who ignored us. I didn’t expect them to stop what they were doing to come up to the counter, but I *did* think they should have acknowledged us with at least a hello, and maybe something along the lines of «someone will be right with you». We waited around for a couple of minutes until a kid came rushing up to the counter to take our order.(He was super nice, by the way.) Anyway, we ordered a couple of mini fruit-filled croissants. They looked good in the display case, but unfortunately when we got them home we realized they were stale, and tasted day-old. Very disappointing, especially since the place has«croissant» in the name and everything… you’d think the croissants would be fresh and really tasty. I actually did not even finish mine, which is saying something, as I usually love croissants, danishes, and other breakfast pastries. After reading other reviews, it seems the thing to get here is the breakfast egg croissant thing, so maybe I’ll go back one more time and try that…

Great little place. Huge delicious croissants. Great choices and hot and cold sandwiches. My wife got the turkey bacon pesto croissant Panini. A very nice blend of flavors. I got the meat lovers breakfast sandwich with sausage ham bacon egg and cheese on a huge croissant. Staff was slammed but remained extremely friendly and accommodating. Great value for five dollar sandwiches.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Sebastopol. What a find! Huge portions, tiny prices, and incredibly delicious. Their croissants are unique — much better than any Panera pastry, and ten times better than Starbucks’ overpriced LaBoulange. Our very picky fresh-obsessed salad connoisseur was well-pleased. The egg-bacon-cheese croissant makes me regret every egg mcmuffin I’ve ever had. The staff were super-friendly. The new wood interior is gorgeous. Just one complaint: the water-glasses are way too small. UPDATE: They fixed the water glasses!
