I love the Sebastopol Cookie Company! In here you will meet some of the nicest people you’ll ever come across. The staff is so incredibly friendly. My personal favorite cookie is the white chocolate chip. Yum! Pairs well with an Italian soda too. Being born and raised in Sebastopol, I have many wonderful memories here. Lots of sentimental value. Not much has changed, and I’m so glad it hasn’t. It’s just what I remember it to be – what a joy it is for me to be able to return with my own children. Look for the Where’s Waldo’s distributed throughout the establishment. Such a fun little way to keep the kids occupied as you watch your espresso being made.

Love, Love, Love the Sebastopol Cookie Company! I have been treating myself and my staff to Andrew’s delicious cookies for over a year now and everyone loves them. He has some delicious recipes and some gluten free stuff too. Great for gifts too!

I was crazy about this place as a kid. My favorite cookie was always white chocolate macadamia and it looks like they now make a similar variety involving almonds. Their cookies are still excellent although a tad smaller than I remember(or am I just bigger?). They have vegan and gluten free options and they even make non-dairy smoothies!

I love coming here when I am up in the area. I have family in Sebastopol(LOVE that beautiful wine country town) so I am there all the time! These people here are very kind and generous. I love supporting them! Yummy cookies!!! Once in a while, the cookies are cooked a little long and then they are a bit too crunchy. Soft chewy is always best! Mostly, these cookies are not overly sugary(I hate that) and they really taste home made and comforting. The people are the best here!

I nicest, nicest, niiiiicest people in the world! Sebastopol is a town known for extremely kind and open minded people. Truly, a rare gem of a town! This sweet little cookie shop is nothing less than wonderful, and fits right in with the beautifully liberal hearts of the town. We got the gluten free cookies and they were better than the regular cookies in our opinion! This place has a kind olden-day feel with modern ideals, gay friendly, smiley happy people. Can’t go wrong!

Hands down the best cookies I’ve ever had from a bakery. My personal favorite is the cinnamon cookie. The friendly, welcoming staff is another plus.

I was visiting at a difficult time personally while also very allergic. Needless to say, I was not the easiest customer. The gentlemen at the counter was incredibly accommodating and the espresso was excellent. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie to go. Very crumbly which isn’t that surprising for GF floor, just completely forgettable and hardly worth the money. Perhaps(and hopefully) the other cookies are much better.

Stoppes by here for some coffee and light breakfast. Very friendly fellow behind the counter. Pastries were delicious, as was the coffee. Did not try the cookies since it was early morning, but everything else was great. Nice place to grab some sweets without a doubt.

Meh. Average cookies, overly sugared, not sure why everyone loves them. Oh wait, I know! Sugar! The backpacker is not that great– kind of dusty in my mouth.

Man I love the Sebastopol Cookie Company! Best cookies and I love their chai as well! Every time I’m in here the staff is super nice and I love the laid back vibe. I can’t go downtown without stopping in for one, the other, but usually both! Today was extra great because I walked in and they were playing Gaslight Anthem in the shop. Don’t get me started on how much I love that band, and the best part is that the girl working was able to play her own music and we got to nerd out on how much we love them! I think this may have been my best visit there ever but it reminds me why I go back time and again. I love the personality of the place and that the people who work there always like to chat about one thing or another and I love supporting a place that hires great people and then lets them be themselves at work. Oh yeah, the cookies too, man those cookies are the best. :)

NOM! I can’t help but get a cookie here every time I am downtown. Every cookie is really good. My only suggestion is to serve an assortment of sizes of cookies. If I buy a big cookie, I’ll eat the whole cookie, but sometimes I just need a small cookie. Also, sometimes I can’t decide on which cookie, so it would be cool to try a couple of different ones for the taste!

I haven’t tried all the cookies here, but all the ones I have tried have been delicious. My favorite so far is the peanut butter chocolate chip. How could you go wrong with 2 classic cookie flavors combined?! So yummy and fresh. I also really liked their ginger cookie, but I think it’s one of when the mood strikes kind of cookies. I work nearby, so I have a feeling I will be frequenting this establishment now that I know it exists. I haven’t tried their other offerings, but I’m sure I will in the future. Whenever I have been in the staff has been very friendly and attentive. It’s really small, so not the kind of place you would likely hang out, but more of a grab and go kind of joint. You just order your cookies at the counter(and I think there might be a window outside you can order from the sidewalk, but I haven’t investigated to find out).

In my five days in Sebastopol, I found myself at the Cookie Company three times. Each time, I indulge in a triple chip cookie, which was by far my favorite. The ginger cookie was great, the cinnamon snap was alright, the white chocolate chip with toasted almonds was yummy and the double fudge with no walnuts was good but not great. All the cookies were chewy and baked just right. I wish I had returned even more often.

I can’t believe I have never written a review for this wonderful/amazing/best childhood memories here place! I came here with my mom all the time when I was younger. We would always get our santa cookies here and treats for long drives. So, basically the cookies here are amazing. I love the multiple type of chip one and the peanut butter ones. Also their coffee here is super delicious. They make their iced coffee with coffee cubes. Ingenious! The staff here is awesome too and super down to earth. The owner is also a cool guy so why not come in here and support a wonderful cookie shop?

After two weeks of rain we finally had a Sunday with amazing weather. We went for a drive out to the coast to enjoy the day. On our way back, my sweet tooth was kicking in so we stopped in to get a cookie from the Sebastopol COOKIE Company. Well I just with all the foot traffic that day in the amazing weather the Cookie Company had all but one sad looking amoretto cookie had SOLDOUTOFCOOKIES. Umm. What!?! They do bake cookie on location. I think they should have noticed all of the traffic and better prepared. Ms. Preggers was kinda let down, but she got over it quickly. Oh well, I hope to try your cookies next time I’m in town. xx

Staff is amazingly helpful, greeting us as soon as we walked in. They kindly let us know which cookies were literally fresh out of the oven. The hot chocolate was, while a bit pricey, a nice touch on such a chilly day. Their cookies were so warm and smelled like pancakes. Next time in town I will need to stop in again.

Sebastopol Cookie is basically an hoie in the wall. barely enough room for displaying the 4 kinds of coffee in thermos and the dozen cookies and 6ish croissants. didn’t check out seating as i was avoiding a running girl enamored with the cookies. luckily i didn’t «bump» into her since i was watching her carefully the whole time. not in the voyeur sense but trying to keep out of her way. eats: white chocolate almond cookie(1.5) –nice contrast of chewy and crunchy(almond), sweet(white choc) and bland. –cookie about palm size. good value. 4 stars –not sure if other cookies would taste as good. pour: dark roast, taylor farms, m. 1.75 –robust, rich taste on the edge harshness but not. –taste better than peerless. coffee drips: –cheerful, fast service –a short line in the afternoon. –almost all croissants gone, not many cookies either.(either sold or not many made).

Taylor Maid Coffee, COOKIES, friendly locals, and Italian sodas= BLISS Came here for coffee and left with a bagful of cookies to accompany. Love the way the cookies are displayed up front and to the right, which if you are a visual like me, immediately noticed upon arrival. My coffee addiction was put well to the back of my mind as my eyes scanned the rows of fresh baked cookies before me. I went for the Cinnamon right away. Was more like a snickerdoodle but without the heaviness of cookie mass. The consistency of the cookies are chewy with a little crunch. Makes for an honest cookie filled with loads of flavor. Friendly local service and the guy helping us was patient enough for us as we have 3 kids and ordering sometimes takes and eternity after a few flavor and/or quantity changes from my fickle children. Love this place and will definitely be back if I’m ever in town again.
