Route 3 Liquor

Updated review for the nasty Unilocal message I received for my initial review. Unilocal user, Diana A., who had the first review of this establishment and was removed by Unilocal for being illegitimate sent me this message entitled «Get a Life»:
«Hey Sheesh– go get a life! You are rude, inconsiderate– no nothing about running a business. All you do is bad mouth every business you step foot into. Get a job and see what it’s like in the real world instead of sitting on the computer all day and writing bullshit»
While it’s nice to have a business read your review and respond to their shortcomings, this is quite overboard and pathetic. This user also wrote false negative reviews for all of the local liquor stores that compete with this business in an effort to drive business here… which as the Unilocal reviews show is the worst liquor store in the area.

I would say my reviews are fairly balanced, if anything, overall favorable towards businesses.

Avoid this dump… came home with expired beer, called the store, guy on the phone says «it’s not milk, if it’s cold it’s good to drink»

I stopped here because I was in a rush and this was on my way so I decided to pick up some wine coolers nothing crazy. As I walked inside I first noticed how freezing cold it was inside. The cashier lady was wearing her coat and had some portable heater around. Guess their heat wasn’t working or something. Then I also noticed how everything was a mess. Usually most liquor stores I’ve been to at least have their wines all together in a section and hard liquor on another etc. Here everything is EVERYWHERE. So I decided to ask where they had their wine coolers… I shouldn’t have been surprise when I only had ONE option. Really? Well whatever I got a case of 12 angry orchard $ 19 as I brought my case to the counter to pay the lady just looked at me and began to ask how old I was? I told her my age and I asked her if she wanted to see my ID and she said yes. Now I COMPLETELY understand because I look so young I always get ID which is totally fine with me but the way she did it was just very annoying. Now once she checked my ID and confirmed I was indeed over 21 she didn’t politely give me my DL back. she pretty much threw it on the counter. THEN she just waited for me to pay. As I was waiting for her to tell me my total? She just looked at me until I finally asked her how much it was. Then I handed her my debit card, which she ALSO tossed on the counter. I signed my receipt said thank you and of course she didn’t say anything back. Amazingly rude. I hate nothing more than a person who is rude to you for no reason especially when you are being nothing but nice to them. I will definitely not be coming back here. However the angry orchard variety pack was good. Recommended it to anyone who enjoys ciders like myself.
