Wow, what a hidden gem! We came in on a Saturday night and timed it just right ws there was a perfect booth available for us to sit at. My fiancé’ and I each ordered one of the specials which was a combination of several things. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners! Everything was wonderful and very fresh. Our server was efficient and very pleasant. He genuinely seemed happy to be there. There was definitely a busy buz about the place and a number of people came in for carry-out orders while we were there. This place definitely has a homey atmosphere and serves up very authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices!

This place is perfect for after a long ride. Definitely the best taqueria style mexican food in sedona.

Prices are great! Food is really good. The clientele is mostly locals. This isn’t a fancy place, but it’s clean and fast. If you like Mexican food, try this place!

This place has fantastic food and service. Parking is an issue though. Not much for atmosphere but the food makes up for that. The salsa bar is a really nice touch. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. Prices are really reasonable for Sedona too.

AHMAZEING! I don’t now if I’m just starving from a hike or not but this place is authentic. I got a cheese, avocado, & sour cream enchilada and I literally inhaled it. The young man, David, was very intensive right when we walked in the door. We got our food quickly and then open mouth, insert food happened. We enjoyed it very much, especially because we aren’t locals.

This is by far the best Mexican food in Sedona. I live here and visit Tortas frequently. I have never had an unsatisfactory meal. It is very affordable as well. The interior is a little like a fast food place but don’t let that dissuade you from eating here. The parking is a little challenging as well. But aside from ambiance and parking it is an awesome place to eat and has great prices.

Place needs better signage from the road. Passed it once. After entering we were greeted promptly and seated after the table had to be wiped down. Trash under the table could have been swept. Not only under our table but the entire place. Anyhow, food was flavorful except the regular crunchy taco. I had the Torta de Fuego which was flavorful. Aside from the good Torta I didn’t like the Ruffles served with it. I was expecting the traditional tortilla chip. All in all I would recoomend this place on ones Sunday afternoon drove thru Sedona. Oh don’t forget to go to the register or else you will never get your bill

I came here after ATVing in Sedona, and I was starving! I ordered the Trio Combo which included a cactus salad, cheese enchilada, beef(fried taco name that I totally cannot remember right now), and chipotle chicken taco. It was all SO delicious that I literally ate it all within 5 minutes. And was still starving. So it was really yummy food, but definitely not enough. I might come back and try the dinner entrée options and see if they’re enough for my appetite but we’ll see! Or maybe next time I’ll just order 3 Trio Combos. Meta.

Came to Sedona on vacation and came here on my way out for breakfast. Good pricing for Sedona, but didn’t find the food super exceptional. My eggs and chorizo were a bit bland. The breakfast huarache was bit better. Perhaps lunch /dinner would be a better choice at this restaurant.

We came in here on New Year’s Day and the place was pretty packed with people. The girl at the counter seemed overwhelmed, completely understandable. Once we were seated and ordered, everything went smoothly. I ordered the la norteña torta(carne asada, guacamole, jalapeños, cheese, lettuce, tomato) and my boyfriend ordered the red rock enchiladas with green sauce. The torta was delicious! Savored every bite! My boyfriend enjoyed his enchiladas and although they were busy, the service was prompt. Great place!

This was one of the few places open on Christmas. Very crowded. My hubby and I both had enchiladas and were not happy with them. Would not go back again.

The La Surena torta was delicious. The bread was so fresh and the outside was toasted perfectly, just a lightly crisp exterior and pillowy softness inside. The carnitas were well seasoned, and the fries that came with the sandwich were piping hot. The food was excellent. The service, however, was lacking. No one came to check on me the entire time I was eating. I would have appreciated a fork and knife, and I had to grab a ketchup bottle from another table. I had to walk to the front for the bill after I was done eating. Even though the service wasn’t good, the food is worth going back for.

Ate here after a day of hiking. The carne asada burrito was DELICIOUS. My only con is that the place is pretty small and it was crowded.

The food was pretty good but way too pricy for what it was. The quesadilla was big enough, but it was very spicy. I wasn’t expecting what I tasted… It was pretty expensive, 10 dollars for just a quesidilla??? Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My dad got a wet burrito and loved it, and my mom had a cheese enchilada with green chili sauce on it and liked it a lot. Also I think the environment and the service could’ve been better. I don’t think we got asked once if we liked our food or needed anything. It was a very small place too.

A perfect lunch after a morning of hiking! We were seated in a booth and the very friendly waitress got us menus and some ice cold Jarritos — toronja, my fave! We had 2 different tortas and could probably have split one if we had not been hiking for 3 hours. Great salsa bar with a huge selection of extras. Excellent value for your money. There are only a few parking spots and it is squeezed in with a garage but everyone seems to manage.

I gave them a 5 star for a few reasons: it’s the real deal, it’s affordable(not overpriced mexican food). I was visiting the area for the beautiful scenery and looked for a restaurant. I came across this dive and I am glad I did! Yummmmmm! I ordered the marinated pork, shredded chicken and chorizo tacos and a side of rice and beans! Everything g was good. I would say the chorizo was a bit greasy relative to any other chorizo taco I’ve eaten. Either way, it tasted delicious!!! The service was great! I definitely recommend it if you are in the area and you love Mexican!

Great prices on good food. About the only place in Sedona with reasonable prices! Salsas are fresh and tasty, all of the menu items I’ve tried were great. Look for the orange and yellow signs that say«Auto and Cycle Repair» and«Mexican Food», you won’t be disappointed!

Really excellent food! I had the Fajita Chicken Taco Salad which was filled with nice hunks of grilled marinated chicken and sauteed vegetables. My husband was still talking longingly about his Torta de Fuego the next day. In short, Tortas de Fuego has high quality homemade Mexican food at very very reasonable prices. The only drawback, as other reviewers have noted, is finding a parking place. There are maybe 5 – 6 spaces total so go off peak if you can.

Good Mexican food spot in Sedona. The parking lot is small, like really small. If you’re visiting Sedona and within walking distance, you may just want to walk there. Otherwise you might be searching for parking for a while. Inside it’s an open, colorful place. We went at lunch, and it was really busy inside, almost chaotic at times. The service was on the slower side. They did seem really overwhelmed and understaffed, which likely explains our slower service. I wound up just going to the counter to ask for service a couple times because they were so busy. Unfortunately we were forgotten about even after asking for service, so I had to go back up again. The food was good. I got the Torta De Fuego. It comes with chips or fries. The chips are like Lays potato chips. So if you don’t want that, go with the fries. The torta itself was good. It’s a good size. Pretty filling. I personally could have done without the carrots, but that’s just me. I didn’t see it being one of the ingredients on the menu, so I was a little surprised to see them inside the torta. We also got some of the tacos, which were solid. All in all, good spot to grab some lunch after hiking around Sedona.
