Village has the best crust also best BBQ chicken pizza around with the BBQ sauce base. Worth the money always! Pizza man tonight even came and opened our bottle of wine we were struggling with. The staff is always super. Village is the best.

Pretty good pizza, friendly people and owner. They need to fix the tables, though. They are always unstable and annoying to eat at. They don’t seem to have heat, so when it’s cold out, it’s freezing and drafty in there. They have a tv playing garbage all the time. They should just shut that off.

Villaggio Pizzeria says Unilocal. The actually sign says Village Pizza. Their ad in the mail just has their address… doesn’t say that it is Villagio or Village. LOL. I looked up the address on the ad to see that it was for Villagio on Unilocal. It is our neighborhood pizza place. Yes, it is overpriced. But sometimes I don’t want to drive far. Time is money. Almost everything in our cute downtown is a bit overpriced though. I’ve had the regular pizza and the NY pizza. Both are fine. They make good salads too. The NY Pizza only comes as an 18″ size which is XL. thought it was going to be super huge. Guess it was but my husband and i ate 2⁄3 of it. haha. There is a lunch special menu that is new. Two pizza slices, a salad, a drink will run you about $ 9.95(plus tax) on that new menu.

Yummy pizza with a thick chewy crust. Love the sauce! Nice blend of veggies and not too much cheese.

Love the pizza … Overpriced… The pastas and chicken wings I feel can be improved frozen and canned in my opinion which is bothersome. We have our local butcher a few feet away get some fresh chicken for the chicken Parmesan and fresh wings for hot wings! Grew up here in Sierra Madre so love village but it needs to improve on some things

Rude stupid terrible staff, they screwed up our order and even left stuff out, my brother had to argue with them and show them the receipt to prove that they had forgotten that salad. We had to wait another 15 minutes, and by then our pizza was getting cold. My brother demanded our money back, and they refused, so he reversed the charges. We called later to complain to a manager, and the person claiming to be the manager cursed at my brother and my brother cursed back at him, then added a really nasty yet hilarious insult before hanging up on him. But these people are the worst! The pizza is too greasy, the salad was just like out of that Family Guy cutaway joke«Hello, EVERYPIZZAPLACE» where they ruin the salad. I hope this place goes under.

We ordered the Nick’s special under their California pizza menu and added pepperoni and chicken. Delicious! Cheesy, fresh, warm and mouth-watering! Definitely coming back!

Came in for a quick slice. They had a few pizzas ready for the«by the slice» purchase and it looked like their slow time so the bit of variety was nice. I went with the NY slice with pepperoni, Italian sausage and ricotta cheese. The pizza crust was typical NY style, thin large slice. The crust and bottom of the pizza had a nice crispness to it which you don’t always get with NY style pizza. The toppings were of good quality. The pepperoni was the bite size kind which I liked and was flavorful. The Italian sausage was tasty without being overpowering. The caches of ricotta cheese on the slice were like little bonus bites when you landed one. Great little slice of NY!

I went here on a Tuesday night for dinner and it was pretty busy. It’s a cute little family run pizza shop in downtown Sierra Madre. My friends and I ordered the works and pesto pizza(½ and ½) and the caprese salad. The salad was huge and came with basil, mozzarella balls, garlic toast, tomatoes and the best pesto dressing! The pizza was also gigantic(8 slices, more than enough for the 3 of us). I liked the works better than the pesto and the dough was crispy, fluffy, and not greasy like most places. Service was excellent and don’t forget to get your free drink when you check in.

I recently ordered a Caprese Salad, regular size. Normally it’s huge and has Basil on it. and is delicious! No go, this time. I ate it in one sitting, and it was plain lettuce. I paid nearly $ 12 for this salad to go which was such a bummer! I’ve gotten so much more in the past. Very disappointing.

I love pizza by the slice and want to give this place 5 stars but nothing IMO deserves that lol. Then they’d stop trying to improve :-) Great location if you’ve just come down from a Wilson hike. Nothing fancy I usually just get pepperoni and sausage or cheese. Original crust. Place is quaint and usually has some sporting event on the Tele. Will be coming back here often. Love the peacefullness and slower pace of life up in Sierra Madre :-)

I’ve been here a couple of times with my friends and I have to say it’s one of my favorite pizza spots now. Every single pizza I’ve tried has been great, especially my favorite the bbq chicken pizza. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to write a review for this spot because their customer service is completely top notch. I was in the neighborhood and I ordered two pepperoni pizzas and a bbq chicken pizza for delivery. They were on time, but they forgot the cheese and pepper packets. Not only did they go and come back with the packets, but they gave me a two drinks for free and a coupon for a free slice and drink for the mishap. That’s incredible to me and completely recommend this place if you want really great pizza with outstanding service.

Unhappy with this pizza. Got the Bubba Clinton. Crust is soooo bland. Marinara sauce is kind of sweet and the vegetables(bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) were completely raw, piled on top. Canadian bacon tasted like cheap ham. Bought a small. Ate one slice and couldn’t do more. Really unhappy. Feel gypped. Paid $ 17 — FOR A SMALLHORRIBLEPIZZA. Even domino’s would’ve been better.

I love this place!!! Friendly service from the local kids accompanied by freshly made pizza with homemade ingredients. What else do you want? By far my favorite pizza place around. Aside from pizzas they also have an array of sandwiches which are very delicious as well. If you are anywhere near the lovely city of Sierra Madre, I would stop by Village Pizza and have a slice.

This place is very cute, located in Sierra Madre which is always a nice place to be. The atmosphere is has a casual, Italian look. The service was good. I came here because they have a gluten free crust option which I need. As usual the gluten free crust was just ok(gf crusts are never the greatest), but the toppings were so good!

This review is based on their single slices of pizza. I ordered the hawaiian slice, which cost around $¾. We thought that they were going to toast it in the oven, but instead we received lukewarm pizza from their heating lamp. The pizza itself was okay. They advertise their NY style pizzas in the front, so the pizza was a bit thicker in the dough. The crust was crispy, and the toppings on top were decent. Overall, an average slice of pizza, nothing special. Not too sure how different the whole pizzas are, as everyone else in the restaurant had gotten a whole pizza.

This rating is for this purchase only. I ordered a gourmet roast beef sandwich, which I’ve had before, on a wheat bread. The sandwich was soggy and the cheese was too much and not melted well. I expected the same quality as on a white bread with crispy bread. So this is just a heads up, don’t order the wheat bread or make sure is not soggy. The BBQ chicken pizza and the salads I’ve tried are delish. 5 stars for that.

I live down the st. from this place & with a coupon they left on my door I figured I’d give it a try. Over priced and a tinge better than cardboard. A frozen pizza from the grocery store would have tasted better. If you are looking for good pizza it is NOTHERE. This place is a great recommendation for someone you hate or want to prank!!! Make the drive to Mama’s, the pizza has never let me down there and it’s only a few miles away.

Ummmm I mean the pizza is good. I got the bbq chicken one. But not $ 20 good Crust was nothing special but then again a lot of pizza has added crap to make it taste bomb so maybe it’s cause they don’t use any? But what do I know Rather go somewhere else if I had a choice but I was really craving pizza and I was studying next door at bean town I thought the workers were really nice though!

This is a local pizza hangout. Great outdoor seating. You can buy pizza by the slice as well. Wonderful helpful staff and great owner. We attended a pizza party there and had a great time. There is a separate patio in the back with TVs. The kids each made their own aprons and chef hats. Then, they topped their own pizza. After that, one of the employees showed them how to toss pizza. After pizza time, they include a nutella pizza, which is amazing! Finally, the kids get a diploma. It is suggested as a birthday party, but we did it as a play date. It was great!

The BEST pepperoni & jalapeño pizza! Ever. Crust: Not too thin, not too thick. Kinda chewy and flavorful. Sauce: Just enough and just right! Finally a pizza that isn’t flatbread dry or oozing with too much sauce that you get sauce squirts with each bite. Cheese: It’s amazing. Doesn’t get too rubbery like other mozzarella pizzas. Pepperoni & Jalapeños: They aren’t shy with either and the jalapeños are SPICY and have a great fresh texture to them; not soggy like other pizza joints. So…why short the perfect score? Ordering out is the way to go because their staff is quite young and sorry to say but rather ditsy. Also I love their Classico Bianco pizza, BUT the last time I ordered it, it wasn’t love at all. They sprinkle the top with oregano, which is fine, but this one unfortunate time it tasted like an old mans armpit full of old spice cologne! YUCK! It was like eating a bar of old spice soap(does it even come in bar form? Who cares…) that was nuked in the microwave. Makes me hesitant to ever order that one again. So sad. Stick to the pepperoni & jalapeño pizza! The BBQ chicken is pretty delicious too!

Gross pizzas and even worse service! I should end the review right at the first sentence as that perfectly sums up a meal at this place. This is one of those rare times that Unilocal has let me down. I came here on a Tuesday night and thought we would grab a few slices of pizza and the head to my favorite ice-cream place around the corner(yay for mother moo creamery!). Worse decision ever. We ordered 2 slices of the Hawaiian and BBQ chicken. It took them 20 minutes to get the slices out, even though we were the only people in the restaurant. When the food was finally ready(reheated pizza slices!), the server who had taken our order and had the most apathetic attitude ends up dropping the entire slice of the BBQ chicken pizzazz on my 16 month old baby, right on her lap instead of the table… my poor baby was in shock! Her coat was covered with the sauce and instead of getting some napkins or making amends, she just shrugs her shoulders and says I guess you want another slice now! I was fuming… worst customer service ever! We had to get our own napkins and clean the mess she had made. To top this, the food was just yucky. I thought I was coming here for some NY style pizza(it says that on their window) but the pizza is doughy, hard to eat and with no flavor at all. I felt like I was in a horrible food court in a mall instead. The only salvation of the night was the ice crème at mother moo but that’s another review. If I could give this place zero stars, I would… awful awful awful. Avoid it!
