Best panda in Simi. If you’ve had bad service here… you’ve obviously never been to the one on Cochran and madera… that place is trash. I always receive wonderful service here and every time I come in I’ve seen and tasted fresh food. Wonderful. Thank you!

I’ve been there about 20 times, and am pleased. The food is cooked nicely. Veggies kinda firm, a good thing. Friendly service. Usually a long line, a good thing. One time my walnut shrimp was a small portion(5 shrimps) and I told the server it was too small of portion, and she apologized and gave me a little cup with like 5 more. I like eating here.

Will never go here again! Ordered beef with broccoli and stir fry noodles. Got home and I had a whopping 3! Yes 3 pieces of beef! On top of that the broccoli tasted bad. But hey, I had plenty of stir fry!

I was just at this Panda Express, I hardly ever go to this restaurant because they do anything possible to give you the smallest portions and their service is horrible, but I thought I would try my luck again. Boy was I wrong! I got a bowl with hardly any chow mein in it and a few pieces of meat on top, the cashier had the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced and seemed very bothered that I asked for soy sauce, you would think that I would automatically get a packet since I had chow mein in the order, but I guess I was wrong! They got two stars because the meat was very flavorful. Never going back, will spend my money elsewhere.

Poor customer service … Food was dry ., Also the server literally scraped the pan to serve me the last amount there was … It was clearly under the serving amount and just tried to make it work. Never going to this panda again

I like Panda Express and believe they can be as healthy as you want your food to be. Some of their dishes have 500 to 700 calories per serving, but others have a much healthier alternative with 150 to 210 calories. I usually substitute all or half of my rice for steamed veggies. The veggies fill you up without the calories. It’s up to you how healthy or not you want to be. The service at this particular location was quick. We were greeted right away with a warm smile. I was out the door in about 5 minutes. Located in a nice strip mall with plenty of things to do before or after eating at Panda. I can say that the tables and floor were clean here. Cup lids, straws, napkins and utensils were all stocked. Panda Express is another ‘fast food’ organization I would like to see start moving away from GMOs and into Organic ingredients.

It has been quite some time since I’ve been in this place. OMG! tonight I remembered why. You can calculate your wait time roughly by multiplying the number of people in line by 3 – 4 minutes. .. EACH. If you don’t want to do the math, just know that if there are more than a couple of people ahead, you’re going to be waiting a good while.(And that assumes none of them are ordering for their family or party waiting outside, since the restaurant makes no provisions for that.) Then there is usually the waiting for their preparation area to actually produce food after you’ve ordered, since they apparently have no system at all for beginning new batches as others run low. Due to the egg«shortage,» the fried rice no longer has any, so it’s tasteless. No shrimp anymore, unless you want straight fried. Ugh. This experience should help me to remember in the future.

Horrible. Stale and cold food. Brutally bad. Managers a jerk. They know it’s bad and they don’t care.

The food is always pretty good, except it takes like 35 minutes till you get to the front of the line to finally order. They are very slow and don’t seem to care that the line is out the door, they are also not very generous with the portions.

Chinese fast food always got me worried but not this place. They cook the food fresh pretty much right in front of you. The shanghai Angus steak is so good with the sautéed veggies. For being a fast food chain, they really uphold to their highest standards.

When you see this place you really think it’s going to be the best, the outside food court area is awesome and it has a fountain and music. but the service is horrible! the manager is a giant prick who makes you feel stupid and rushed when you try to order, he needs to be in the marine core not at Panda Express.

Not sure what is going on with this place, but I can guarantee that I won’t be coming back! We normally order the Family deal so that’s two sides and three entrees. The food was cold and bland and there was something off about the beef and broccoli. It’s too bad because the location is great and they used to provide descent tasting food at a fair price. I get the fact that this is not a sit down restaurant and the food is kept warm under lights and by a heating pan, but when the entrees are made fresh you’d expect a little more flavor and consistency.

Service today MUCH faster. The lady filling orders is great! With smiles and ni slacking around. She labels on styrofoam so cashier can ring up quickly. Thx for listening.

Its worst customer service ever. My kids and wife went there and when they ordered the kids meal, the chowmein was so little. When they asked why so little, the person(shift on Friday 05/27/2014 at 9:45PM) put more noodles but removed the shrimp that was already served in the box. Most important the person serving the food changed the facial expressions as if they are giving the food for free. The kids were so upset with the behavior. This is very bad behavior from Panda express. Its a small community in Simi and you need to learn how to behave. I would say I will never go to Panda however my kids love it so much that I cannot avoid going there. I will complain about this issue until its taken care of. I called the Panda but the response is as you expected the person working there doesn’t care about the franchise or the owner or the manager. I hope they get trained well and do not behave bad with the customer. PANDAEXPRESSCORPORATE, READTHESEREVIEWSANDMAKESURETHEFRANCHISEISWARNEDORPUNISHEDIFNOTYOUARELOOSINGYOURCREDIBILITY.

Staff was super friendly. Asked if I wanted to sample any of the entrees when I was ordering, and checked up on me while I was seated with my food. I’ve never been at a fast food restaurant where they treat you so well after you’ve coughed up your cash. It’s a big, expansive place with plenty of parking out front. Seating al fresco is available too. Staff went around sweeping and cleaning up. Even collected my plate when I was done like a real restaurant! Food is typical fast food Chinese. I had the chicken and mushroom as well as the eggplant tofu. Both were good if a bit heavy on the sauce(like all Panda Express restaurants). The only downside was that the tray I put my food on was a little sticky on the outside edge, as though someone spilled soda on it and it didn’t get entirely cleaned. Otherwise, I would have given the place 5 stars. One of the best Panda Express joints.

I’m sure you’ve probably all eaten Panda Express before, so I’ll skip the food review. This location is right next to my house, making for a convenient meal. Food is consistent, so no real surprises. Staff is pretty friendly, I’ve never had a problem with them since this place has been open. Don’t expect to get a heavy serving of food here, like you would at Panda Bowl. If you want better«take-out» Chinese food, Panda Bowl is the number one spot in Simi Valley. If you’re too lazy to get over there, then Panda Express is fine.

I love Panda Express. Their food tastes fresh. The upsell pressure is high at this location but if you know how to say ‘NO’, you’ll be fine. Prices are getting a bit high but still worth it.

What do you expect? It’s fast food. The food is healthier than other american fast food. Anyway… food and service is alright.

Chinese food never taste SOBAD!!! Since I’ve known Panda Express in other areas, the food seems to be good. but Sunday afternoon I had lunch in this place and OHGOD. I’ve ordered the orange chicken and the sweet and sour pork and they were both hideous. the orange tasted very rubbery and the pork tasted like it was there for days. The spring rolls… GOSH they had a froze-bite flavor even after cooked. really I will never eat at this place again.
