Well, there are no lights, no signs and no furniture; the place is closed! No bueno!

THEBESTANDONLYAUTHENTICMEXICANRESTAURANTINSIMIVALLEY. Fuck all those gringo restaurants! They all seriously lack seasoning, taste, authenticity, and they just plain suck!

The employees are always super nice and the food is delicious. I generally get the 2 taco combo w/carne asada, or their street tacos. It’s my favorite little hole in the wall and I love taking my dad and brother here for family dinners/lunches.

Had their crane asada wet burrito and it was both reasonably priced and delicious. My GF had the shredded beef and it was also very good. The only change I’d make is adding some sour cream and guac on top, then I’d give another half star.

Total ripoff. $ 10 for a shrimp burrito? Pass. Other places are better

I have been going to this taco place for many years now. till today I found that they charge for green salsa on the tacos!!! Seriously!!! Not only that but when I asked the girl about it she was very rude about it. Very disappointed today with this place it may be the last time I step foot in this place.

Not Taco Bell or Del Taco. Iove the authentication Mexican taste of this food, my favorite dish is the Camarrones and the horchata is a must have. the atmosphere is not a five star restaurant it is a taqueria for pete’s sake. The food is good and the staff is friendly.

The place was dirty, the employees let their children run wild and my carne asada burrito was full of grissle. It was our first time there and its unfortunate that we wont be back. The most disturbing part of our dining experience was the ballon that was being kicked around by an undisciplined child. He was the son of one of the employees or owner and ran around the lobby and kitchen area screaming like a hyena. Then this little kid started kicking a ballooon all over the restaurant and would occasionally send it over the counter where the cooks would laugh and hit it back. Im not a rocket scientist but i figure thats one quick way to spread germs…

I ordered breakfast and the eggs were over cooked and rice was burnt. I will not be coming back. Seats are torn and place smelled old. Salsa bar only had one selection???

As I sit here, trying to choke down a carne asada quesadilla, spitting out over ½ the meat(could be rubber though… not quite sure yet until I have it analyzed…) I wonder«did these people go to the same place I did?» I contemplate putting some of the BROWN guacamole on the second piece, then decide maybe I better eat some tums(just in case, for the expected aftermath). All joking aside, this really was bad food. My first time here, even though I live nearby — MAYBE I got them on a bad day, MAYBE I will try them again. But based on this visit, unless I feeling saucy and reckless — I will be stayin’ away.

Great Mexican Food my friend Jayne and i stopped there to visit a friend and we had some tacos and quesedillas and they were really amazing! I had horchata to drink and the hot Chile habanero sauce will kick your butty if your not use to spicy food. Jalisco is my kind of place we stopped there several times and i highly recommend them!

This is my favorite taqueria in Simi Valley. First of all they have great salsa. I put it on everything. All the food I’ve had here has been delicious and the staff is great. Can’t wait for my next burrito! Keep up the good work!

Prices have gone up, and portions have gone down since the move. Saddening since this place used to be so affordable and delicious. They still have really good horchata!

I came here for lunch today with my lunch friends. We walked in, and looked around. The place seemed sparse. There was lots of space, and not as many tables and chairs as I thought there should be. We walked up to the register, and began to order. The thing I like about these dive Mexican places is that alot of the time, they’ve got rows of pictures of all their food lined up on a wall somewhere, and the name of it right above/below the picture. This place was one of them. I found the wall ‘o pictures, and I saw the food. After some inspection, I saw a burrito that looked tasty. My friend ordered three pastor tacos, and my other friend got a chicken burrito. I ordered the Majado Burrito. My buddy was upset that they didn’t have the whole-fried-fish. I was okay with not having a fried fish staring at me. A few minutes later, the food arrived, it was steaming hot, and we all dug in. I waited a bit for it to cool from super-molten on fire down to edible levels. I took a bite and It was decent. My buddy said his burrito was a bit overcooked, but«passable» as far as burritos went. My other friend said three tacos was the perfect amount of food for her. It was cheap and okay. I might be back?

I’ve been going here with my family for years now. They have some amazing food. I remember the first time I went there I got some sort of sandwich that wasn’t so good. That deterred me from going for a while, but I gave it another shot later on and I concluded I must have ordered the wrong thing for me that first time. They have delicious food! They have generous servings, fast service, and very nice staff. The chips and salsa are always a nice touch to whatever you end up ordering. It’s also rather inexpensive; always a plus!

This is my ‘GO-TO’ spot in Simi Valley for Mexican food!!! I usually get the super burrito; it comes with ALL the good stuff! i’ve also had the tacos, and the al pastor ones are DELICIOUS!!! also, every time i go i get the horchata! Cant go wrong with good prices for BOMB mexican food! Theres also a small chip and salsa bar thats included with food which is pretty sweet! Mexican beer is also available for purchase with your meal here! Service is quick and friendly and food is served pretty quick too! I’ll be going here for as long as its open and im living in simi!!! ps. you know the place is good when you see the people eating there look like the people cooking the food!
