Garlic knots are out of this world! Delivery was quite fast and the food was still hot! The stuffed bread had a little too mich meat in it. I know thats a weird complaint but it made it real tough to eat the center of the stromboli as it was literally all meat and very little cheese or bread. The food was also great the next day as leftovers when tossed in the oven for a reheat. The order taking process was a bit difficult as it was kind of noisy with people screaming in the background. The gentleman taking the order put me on hold after the third interruption presumably to tell that person to knock it off. Delivery was a 5 star Food was a 4 star Service was a 4 star Order accuracy was a 5 star Would recommend for delivery!

The pizza is good. Nice flavor. Crunchy crust which I don’t like but other might. Garlic knots are good. Chicken is stringy. Prices are high but they can get away with it in this area. Service leaves something to be desired. You definitely don’t go there if you want a waitress with a smiling face who is eager to make your dinner an enjoyable experience. New pizza restaurants are continuously opening up in the area so with more good choices for pizza and service, Luna is no longer a place we frequent.

The food is good, but not good enough to justify the horrible service. We have been probably 4 times in the last few years, and each time we say we’ll never go back. But it is close to the movie theater & very convenient for an after movie dinner, so we always try again. Our big complaint? The time it takes food to get to the table, and the incomplete way the food is served. Tonight, it took an hour for our 12″ pizza to arrive, followed 10 minutes later by the chicken parm sub, and my 8 year old’s single slice of cheese pizza never came at all. I spoke to our waitress three times, once when she dropped off the sandwich, and twice more I had to get up to approach her at the counter. At that point my daughter was crying and hungry & I gave her my dinner so she would have something while she waited. The third time I approached her, the waitress said that she would have to have them get a pizza started to give her the slice. At first I said okay, but after 10 minutes, I realized that waiting more while everyone else is finished, just wasn’t worth it. This is the same thing that happened to us the last two times– extremely long wait time, staggered food, and a dish being completely forgotten. We weren’t the only ones either– there was a disgruntled family who had been waiting an hour when we arrived, and was still getting parts of their order when we finally got our food. This kind of service should be the exception, not the expectation. Sorry to say, we will never go back, especially not when there are so many other pizza places around.

Some of the better pizza in the area. I went last night and got some take out pizza and salad. While they messed up my salad order, I really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza I got. The sauce tastes a bit on the sweeter side, and there is a noticeable amount of seasoning on the pie, which with in combination with the mozzarella, provides a very poignant flavor that you won’t find at a lot of local Connecticut pizza joints. Recommended pizza place from a former new jerseyan.

I ordered a pizza. Was told it would take an hour. Ok. After the hour passed I called to check on it. It had been delivered to the wrong address and the person there signed my credit card slip and added a tip. Being completely pissed off I asked how the driver could not see the difference between 2 and 7 in an address. He actually asked if I still wanted a pizza! Said he would make another and cancel out previous charge. Another hour later my pizza arrived. Congratulations Luna… worst pizza I’ve ever had. Completely dry and tasteless, unless you like cardboard. Manager wouldn’t even reduce price after they screwed up. Save your money! Go elsewhere! Lisa’s Luna Pizza SUCKS!

Lisa’s Luna pizza is the place to go! I like the menu layout, and the food is fantastic. I like that they always have slices ready when you come in. Must try their veggie pizza! Delicious! I like that they deliver as well.

After 25 years of living in the Farmington Valley I can categoricay state Lisa’s Luna Pizza is the best thin crust pie around. From exquisite mozzarella to specialty pies to loaded extra ingredients they do it right. Salads are fresh and crisp, service is excellent and beer & wine are available at reasonable prices. Do your tastebuds a favor and have a heavenly LL pie — today!

Visit after visit, Luna Pizza has proven to have spectacular food; however, very worthy of note is the outstanding service. Each time my family and I have stepped into this Luna – whether it is to dine-in or carry-out – the servers have always been friendly, helpful, attentive, and efficient. Above all, each server and cook is very, very hard-working. They know how to keep their patrons happy and run this fantastic eatery! On our most recent visit this afternoon, my family and I got two small pizzas, an order of wings, and a salad to go. The pizzas and the wings were all freshly made and cooked to perfection; the salad was also fresh having just been made(not made in advance, packed, and placed in a refrigerator for when they’re ordered in the future). [This was all made in about 20⁄25 minutes from when we placed our order by phone.] Behind these perfect dishes were three younger men, running behind the counter, spinning dough in the air, and slicing steaming pizzas. Each was extremely kind and personable, even while they were cooking/preparing meals and checking on the patrons dining in the gallery. They double checked our order and made sure we had everything we wanted before we walked happily out the door – including an extra side of their supremely scrumptious sauce! They thanked us for our business during our chat during pick-up, and really demonstrated great customer service. While the sauce has me walk into Luna Pizza [quite frequently], the wonderful service will keep me there!

I like this style of pizza. Lisa apparently took ownership but decided to keep the name. My waitress, Nicole, was a real sweetheart. Helpful, attentive, even changed the channel and turned up the volume. From the Unilocal check-in this place gave me a free order of mozzarella sticks. My experience was pleasant and comfortable.

Pizza was delicious as always, and salad delicious as well. Best brick oven pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve loved Luna pizza since I was a kid and no other pizza place compares. Service was great, and staff very friendly. Had a great Friday night dinner with my family. Will most deff be back soon! Thanks Luna! :-)

We generally always go to Luna prior to a movie. Last night we sat down at 6:20 for a 7:00 movie. At 7:00, we still did not have our food. The manager told us the order was not put in until 6:40. We ended up leaving without dinner and they made us pay for 2 glasses of rather lousy wine. This will be our last visit to Luna. We had a fantastic burger meal after the movie at Burger Fai around the corner which will now be our pre-movie choice of dinner.

Since my Jason and I were in the area for the Talcott Music Festival, we wanted to try a restaurant that participated in the promotion. Go for their signature White Florentine pie; white pizza topped with spinach, fresh tomato and ricotta cheese! The pizza was so unique and filling, AND it is a favorite of our waitress, Julie! See Jason M. photo. Considering it was Friday evening at 6 p.m., my fiancé and I were the only party in the restaurant. We were seated and served quickly. However, the kitchen was bustling with takeout orders! We saw many people coming in and out of the place. A lot of the people buy pizzas to bring to the Talcott Music Festival. With a coupon and tip, my bill was only $ 22, which included a fancy medium –sized White Florentine pizza with a birch beer and a beer. Before going there, my recommendation is to go on their Facebook page and look for any discounts. There was one that if you mentioned something like«it is too hot to cook», you get $ 2 off a large pizza.

This is one of those places that you don’t enter without the full intention of ordering a specialty pizza. I’m sure a plain cheese pizza comes out just fine… but you don’t go to Benihana for the white rice, do you? Go for the gusto at Luna, or you’re missing out completely. Take a look at the picture I posted of the White Florentine pizza, and tell me with a straight face that you don’t want any. You won’t do it… you won’t do it! It’s as visually breathtaking as it is sensationally tasty. At 14″, a medium may not be big from a diameter perspective, but it’s huge from a vertical perspective. We only finished five slices, and had the other three the next day. Mozzarella, garlic, spinach, fresh tomato, huge blobs of ricotta. That’s a pizza fit for royalty. You are getting irrationally hungry.

Their prices are different on the website than what they say they actually are… The manager got on the phone with me and had an attitude the entire time he was talking to me and was arguing with his customer. Who does that? apparently a business that doesn’t want to keep their business. I will never go there again, I’ll take my business elsewhere

I have been a fan of Luna’s since they opened their first location back in the days of the old Farmington Valley Mall(ahhh memories). The pizza has changed a bit over time, but still is by far one of the best slices you’ll find outside of NYC. The thin crust is to die for, and the fresh mozz gives such a refreshing flavor to what would normally be viewed as a regular cheese pie.

Sunny Saturday after noon, place was empty. Chicken parm sandwichs were mediocre… Missing some flavor that I could not put my finger on. Was hoping Robert was there but his day off. This go around only gains 3 stars.

Went back tonight to give them a second chance. Wednesday Night– 6:30 — it was fairly empty. Ordered a large veggie pie, a chef salad and some brewskies. No service problems this time. Everything went easy peasy. One oddity was the veggie pizza. It came as advertised with a ton of peppers, onions, mushrooms, eggplant, spinach, broccoli, artichokes, and red peppers. What seemed weird was that it had all of these nice fresh veggies but the eggplant was the breaded and fried variety one would find on an eggplant parm grinder. Didn’t exactly seem to go with the veggie«healthy» choice… I’m a forgiving kind-hearted soul, so I will gladly raise their rating from 2 stars to 3. Pizza was good but not spectacular good.

They advertise single slice at the entrance but each time you go there they tell you they are out of slices. Even at 6pm on weekdays. And that too after a long wait because they are in a unique position of being busy! It is pure bait and switch. If you advertise single slice, stick to it and make it if you run out of it. Im never going back here. I gave it one star because of awful service. Pizza isn’t bad though.
