On our first visit about a year ago we were seated quickly but we didn’t meet our server for about 15 min after sitting down. She took our drink orders and disappeared. After another 15 – 20 min she reappeared with our drinks and asked if we needed more time. We were only ordering a pizza so we stated we were ready to order. She seemed caught off guard by this and said she would be right back to take our order. We waited roughly another 10 – 15 min and decided that we would go next door to Chili’s. This was my first visit to a Bertucci restaraunt and I was very disappointed that after 45 min I had only received a soda and my order was yet to be taken. Fast forward about a year and we were in the mood for pizza. We discussed our options as we were driving down 44 in Canton and my wife suggested we try Bertucci again. I’m employed in the restaurant industry and I understand that with such high volume of business there will be mistakes and oversights. So we shrugged off our first bad experience and decided we would try them again. Again we were sat at a table fairly quickly and told our server would be right over. Again we waited about 15 min without anyone coming to our table. As a server passed by our table I asked her if she was our server. She stated that she was not but that she would tell our server we are waiting still. We watched as she stepped into the pickup alley in front of the line and spoke to another female server. They both looked in the direction of our table and shared a few words. For about 10 min we watched both of the servers run food to other tables and pretend my table didn’t exist. At this point we had been in our seats for half an hour and we haven’t even been greeted by our server yet. We packed our things up and headed to the door. On our way out the host asked how everything went. I explained that we hadn’t even been served a drink after 30 min and her response was«Ok. Have a great night». No apologies. No offer to speak to a manager. In fact on both visits we don’t recall seeing a manager visible at all. Two visits and both times the service was beyond horrible. It was nonexistent. I can’t rate the food because after a combined total of 60 minutes in this building I’ve never had the chance to try a single piece of pizza. Needless to say there will not be a 3rd visit.

Ordered a shrimp pizza called Bella Venuzia(I think that’s the name). Where’s the shrimp? $ 22 for what? 3 small shrimp chopped into little pieces. Was basically pizza dough with sauce. Shitty pizza. NEVER giving Bertuccis my business again! Wish I could post the picture!

We waited for 15 minutes, on Valentine’s Day at 7:30 so not bad at all. Once we sat we sat there for another 20 without anyone coming over before we finally just left. Not a single employee even said a word to us. Thanks

Forgetting everything else and just thinking about the pizza. I’ve only gotten take out from here so I have no stories of good or bad service, only good pizza. I like my pizza thin crust with a good sauce, so this really hits the spot. The sauce is not bland, has a nice pop to it with a good texture of chunky tomato. The cheese is up to par and the crust is thin and crispy. So far I like the sporkie but will be back to try the other specialities.

Seems like they may be on their last leg. Upon walking in there are happy hour posters everywhere boasting ½ price apps, drinks, etc. We sat and luckily had the foresight to ask if we could get these to which we were answered with no only for the bar… the bar there is like an 8 barstool closet. Whatever. Ordered a beer from the miniscule beer list. Ordered food. I can only review what I had although nobody was happy. Shrimp Rossini. You know those tiny shrimp(skrimp) you see in the giant frozen bags at the grocery? Well I got about 9 or those or what looks similar. Over spaghetti in a super thin sauce. Not good. $ 19 dish. Kids dishes were not received well and consisted of 1 cheese pizza which I actually tried and had no taste and chicken nuggets. She got 4 little chicken nuggets with 3 thin slices of pear as her side. And their dessert that came with it? You know those little ice cream cups served at nursing homes? Yeah one of those each. Scary thing was the place was getting real busy. Either peeps in the valley are losing their taste buds or we just got unlucky. Hope for the restaurants sake we just got unlucky!

We enjoy this restaurant, something for everyone and they are consistent. Pizza is good, pasta dishes are well done. It’s not a fancy Italian place, but a great place for families and prices are very reasonable.

Food is good — love the light salad and the wood fire oven flavor. The service is consistently slow and painful though.

Mediocre, bad, below par and all other similar adjectives. The food is not cooked through, the pizzas have NO flavor at all. The soup taste like vomit. Not gonna go back again at all.

Delightful service and atmosphere but highly mediocre food. Pizza is all they can do right.

Good in a pinch I suppose, expensive for what it is. The sporkie is the only thing that makes me want to go there. There is better pizza out there folks. I would never eat there because I like going to actual restaurants and I don’t like being around families and kids. If that’s not your crowd and you are in need of pizza and that’s your only option, call ahead and take out. Ask about the 2 for $ 15 carry out pizza deal. I suspect the choices would be limited or the pizza isn’t as hearty as the regular menu.

Really too bad. We ordered take out for the 10 $ 1 topping pizza special. Unfortunately, as good as the sauce is, the did not cook either of the pizzas through. I took a photo of the roasted pepper pizza, and you can see how it needed another 5 min of cooking. It disappoints me that a pizza place just can’t cook a traditional pizza the same way every time. I’ll pass on returning

We had a $ 10 off $ 25 take-out order coupon, so we phoned in an order for three tonight. It was ready for pick-up as promised– in 30 minutes. Our order was 1) Shrimp Rossini — «Sautéed shrimp in a tomato cream sauce with capers and a hint of hot pepper, tossed with spaghetti» for $ 16.29 with no salad included, 2) Chicken Parmagiana — «Sautéed breaded chicken topped with pomodoro sauce, basil and provolone cheese, served over spaghetti. for $ 14.99WITH a salad included, and 3) a Grilled Shrimp, Spinach, and Feta Salad — «Grilled shrimp served over spinach, roasted artichokes, tomatoes and black olives. Tossed in Italian dressing with crumbled feta and marinated cucumbers and onions» for $ 14.29. And how did the food taste? The food was very good, the chicken parm was a gigantic portion that looked like two full chicken breasts over pasta. I tweaked my salad order by substituting grilled chicken for the shrimp(a $ 3 reduction). And how was the value? Well the chicken parm was definitely worth the $ 15 considering the substantial amount of chicken and the included salad. The Shrimp Rossini was not such a great value– it didnt have a lot of shrimp and there was no salad included. The Spinach Salad was not really worth $ 14 –there wasn’t a lot of chicken in there and the salad was 90% spinach leaves. Our total bill was $ 48, which became $ 38 after our coupon. Bertucci’s seems to be fairly aggressive with coupons, you get things constantly by joining their e-mail club, and you can knock $ 10 off your take-out bill with your first on-line order. I’ll give them 3 stars by the skin of their teeth. Their yummy dinner rolls persuaded me to give them the benefit of the doubt.

So what if Bertucci’s is a chain. They are damn good. I could seriously make a meal of the bread and oil. Warm bread and herb-y olive oil is so delicious. Today was my first trip to this particular location, but I have no complaints. Actually compared to the Bertuccis I frequent more often(Waterbury) its less cramped feeling. The dining area and kitchen are open to one another which is interesting. The Silano pizza is my go to.

I shouldn’t even bother writing a review, because this is a chain. It’s Bertucci’s, people. It’s always the same! I went for lunch and just found my meal to be really devoid of both taste and texture. I got the rigatoni with the chicken and broccoli, with a garlic cream sauce. I chose to have shrimp instead of chicken, though. The sauce was okay, a little thin. There were about 5 cloves of garlic in the sauce, though, just kind of sitting there in the little bit of collected sauce on the bottom of the bowl. I didn’t really need to see the garlic in order to figure out that it was a garlic cream sauce. The shrimp were pathetic — obviously frozen, barely cooked, and they had no flavor. I wished they weren’t there. Oh, but they were! And they cost me an extra $ 1.50! The broccoli and pasta were fine. The meal came with a salad and some bread. The rolls and oil are great. I wish I would have ordered just that and the salad, to tell you the truth. My friends had a personal pizza and the rigatoni abbruzzi, and compliments didn’t exactly abound. I won’t be going back for a while, and when I do I will not be ordering what I did. It was just okay. For $ 16(just my meal), it was completely and totally overpriced and not worth it.

Went here for dinner with some locals, having never heard of this place/chain before — very nice! My friends have a 3 year old and they give the kids a ball of dough to play with(along with some crayons/coloring book) and that«toy» steals the show for them — cool idea! I had the Margherita(Neopolitan pizza) with a wonderful crust though I would have liked a little more of that fresh mozzarella though… Almost forgot to mention, the wonderful hot rolls you get with herb-infused olive oil to start — yummy! Can’t wait to find another one of these on my work trips!
