Friendly and clean. Only thing is that on my way out going through both sets of doors(that are maybe 3 to 4 feet apart) my baby hurt his hand and I hurt my elbow trying to step out and balance both doors open. I think something needs to be done with that entrance.

The people that work here are pretty okay, and very fast and efficient at handling lines, I just can’t give the place more than 2 stars because these sandwiches are the blandest, flattest, most tasteless that I’ve ever gotten from a Subway.

I didn’t think it was possible for a subway to get a bad review, I mean, subway is subway, they are all adequate. But the service here is terrible. Only one of the seven tables was clean,(I’m not talking about not wiped down, they all had cups and bags on them, one even had a full cake?) even though all the employees were standing around talking. One of the employees from the Dunkin Donuts next door was over quite literally yelling about how she wanted a job at subway but the manager wouldn’t give her a chance, «Because they’re afraid I’ll start fucking *name I don’t remember*» WHOA I know she doesn’t actually work here, but none of the employees stopped her, they joined the highly inappropriate convo and kept ignoring me, the one customer in the store. She then detailed the ways in which she«gets away with murder» at Dunkin, taking extra smoke breaks and never getting in trouble when customers complain about her(which I’m guessing is often, seems like the subway manager is on to something with not hiring her. I think this group of employees needs a bit more supervision before being left alone to run the store.

I had a difficult time finding this place on Unilocal because the Unilocal map was incorrect. I had to go to a different site to ensure that I was at the correct location. I thought that this place was in Avon on RT44, but it is in an area where three towns merge on RT44: Avon, Canton and Simsbury(West Simsbury). I decided to review the Subway’s I’ve visited recently, starting with my favorites. This place is one of my favorites. It is well managed, the preparers are skillful, cleanliness seems to be a priority, they have all of the information for the $ 5 subs, types of bread, etc, which is easy to see, and you are never in there for a long period of time, even if there is a line. It is a small place, perfect for take out next to Dunkin’ Donuts, though you can sit down and eat your sub there. I went into this Subway once after getting an email update from Subway. I mixed up two specials: the April $ 5 subway special and the 6″ Egg on flat bread deal with a free 6″ sub. I thought that I should get two foot longs. It was my mistake and the guy was very patient with me. I was so sure I was right, I looked up the email on my iPhone and found that he was correct. I was being a bit of a jerk at first until I realized I was wrong, and the guy was cool about it. I apologized, ordered the 6″ flatbread for breakfast and the free 6″ sub for lunch. They were both great. What was also great, as I stated earlier, was the professionalism of the guy working there that morning. I have been there three times and had a good experience each time.
