I am looking for a new favorite pizza place. On a Friday night I ordered a large cheese and a large mushroom pizza for takeout. It came out to $ 26. The large pizzas were average size but they do have an extra large on the menu. The pizza was really just ok. Let me just say that for my family of 5, there were leftovers even though the kids were hungry. Even the next day those few slices lingered a bit in the fridge. This tells you everything you need to know. I would not go back for the pizza again. The restaurant itself has a nice interior and I will say the take out service was friendly.

So my boyfriend an I had visited this place a few years ago, summer 2014. It was tasty and I was exited they had Gluten Free bread so I could have French toast. They had the Phantom Gourmet segment playing on a loop over the kitchen and I noticed their amazing looking milkshakes they featured on the show as we were leaving. We left feeling like we wanted to go back, the food was good and it was clean, friendly atmosphere and I really wanted to try one of those milkshakes! Fast forward to February 2016 when we were finally able to get there again. Walking in we had noticed they had both the pizza place next door. «Oh, cool» I thought«maybe they will offer GF pizza.» We walked in to the«Breakfast & Burgers» side and we were told that side of the restaurant was closed but we could go to the other side and get a table. Out of the 7 tables in there, three were dirty and two were occupied. We sat down and waited. This«new» part of the place — which opened in Sept 2015 was sad and dirty. A complete contrast of the place we had sat the first time. The floors were disgusting and the paint on the walls was scratched and chipping. Finally the bartender came over to take our drink orders and realized no one has given us menu’s. Ok, stuff happens moving on. As we looked through the menu I noticed as we were sitting in the pizza place the words on the menu that read«No Pizza. No Doughnuts» uhh, excuse me? I asked the bartender/waiter and he said it was a «Stupid joke, but they really don’t have doughnuts.» I asked about the pizza and he told us they have a separate pizza menu but nothing is gluten free. Sad, but ok why did you give my boyfriend a pizza menu when you give us the menus? We order food and it’s ok… The bacon was a bit rubbery and my boyfriend’s corned beef hash looked and tasted really dry/burnt. I happened to notice the table next to us pull a giant hair out of her eggs. Gross. The only saving grace and reason I’m giving it two stars were the beans I got on the side. They were delicious. At the end of the meal, I asked about the milkshakes. The waiter/bartender looked at me as if I had three heads. «The milkshakes, with the chocolate covered bacon that were in the Phantom Gourmet segment?» I clarified. Maybe he was new. «Oh» he replied«yea we don’t do that.» So just to sum it up: food was«eh.» Service was sub-par and the place was dirty. We will not be going here again.

We can never find a decent place for breakfast, but the food was good ! Our server was nice, but listening to the staff complain about each other while we waited for a table wasn’t too pleasant. Take it in the back room people…

It took over half an hour for my omelette to come. But they didn’t charge me for my coffee. Perhaps that was consolation or perhaps they did that by accident; I couldn’t quite understand what my waitress mumbled. Soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. Table arrangement is a little awkward: you have to brush by a table to get into the bathroom. But otherwise the ambiance is nice and the food was good. I’ll give them another chance.

So sad, I was looking forward to a nice place for breakfast in the neighborhood, but so lacking in so many ways. The décor is quite nice, and clean — since new. But we were ther on Sunday and waiting for over 20 minutes before we were even noticed after being seated. The coffees were ordered, delivered, placed the order and the waiting started again. When we realized that everyone else was complaining and they had gotten there after us, we finally asked and were told that they«just got hit» — what it’s Sunday after church, it’s a busy time!!! How did they not know that. Well, it turned that we were served after having been ther for an hour and ten minutes. All we ordered is pancakes and scrambled egg on toast and has Browns. Wow, we could have been happy at Mc Donald’s, since the food was just not that good at all. Blah!!! Sorry, I really wanted to like this place.

This is my new go to spot. I am not a picky eater, but coming from a culinary background I enjoy a nice meal. The portions are large and the prices are fair. My favorite meal is the hungry man! 3 over easy, bacon, home fries, and pancakes. The service/staff are friendly and quick to accommodate. I always leave here feeling great :) not your typical greasy spoon.

I’ve only had breakfast here but it really is the best breakfast in the area. I live very close to the most popular breakfast joint in the area that is next to the beef barn and I always regret going there. I’d rather take the extra drive and come here. Eggs benedict is fantastic and the corned beef hash is my favorite. I’m very picky with hash and it is the only place around that does it right. The perfect ratio of corned beef and potatoes and they don’t skimp on the beef! The décor is pretty and welcoming and the staff is friendly.

Came in with my sister over the weekend for breakfast. Not located in the most flattering area — it always looks like a construction site, but don’t let that deter you from visiting. There are 2 other restaurants in the same lot along with a Dunks. It was around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and wasn’t super packed, but no booths available. We settled for a high top table which was fine but the glare of the sun was a bit bothersome. I would recommend they put some shades in. Another table actually requested a move due to the glare which they were very accommodating. I had the Veggie Omelet(mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes — no cheese) made with egg whites — came with a healthy portion of home fries and wheat toast. Omelet was good, home fries were very good(trying to start 2016 on a better note so I only ate a few). They’re more like potato wedges and weren’t mushy by any means — nothing ruins a Sun morning like mushy home fries! My sister ordered the Hungry Man(3 eggs, home fries, bacon or sausage and waffles or pancakes) — I have no idea why she ordered this, she doesn’t really eat pancakes or waffles — she only had 2 bites, lol. We both enjoyed our meals. They didn’t have any flavored coffee but what coffee they did have was very flavorful. Service was fast and friendly — we were in and out of there in about 45 mins. A nice brunch spot. I haven’t been here for lunch/dinner so I can’t vouch for that but I’ve never had an issue with the breakfast option. I would like to come back and try their burgers, after all if that’s part of your restaurant name — they better be good!

Love their Eggs Benedict and new Pizza, Pasta and Pints side, if they are ever open. 2 times friends attempted to go at 9PM on a Saturday to find they were closed.

My friend has been thirsty throughout a 2 hr long meal. A meal that began with a request for water by the pitchers. Where are the pitchers? Where’s the waitress? Isn’t she wondering if we enjoy our meal? The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but the service is absolutely terrible. At least they have a liquor kosher

Clean environment, nice looking, extensive menu. Food looks great but has little flavor. «Carmelized onions» were barely cooked. I was drinking water and received 2 glasses that were cracked. It wouldn’t be worth the trip back.

So I’m one of those that bases their opinion on what I see and feel at a restaurant and this place disappointed me too many times. I tried it 4 or 5 times and while the taste was okay(burgers were probably the best meal I had there — Pulled Pork Burger was pretty good) every meal section was way over priced for what it is. A burger or a sandwich with a ½ cup of fries in a shiny chrome cup isn’t worth the prices here. Breakfast too was ok but more diner quality on taste than Manhattan style they’re trying(and charging) for. Who pays $ 5 for a muffin or a cupcake? They were nothing special. This place is really trying to be something it’s not. Art work on the walls and stylish furniture and chairs doesn’t mask the fact that it’s overpriced for what it is. Also, my drive around the back of the building was a turn off too as there’s usually staff smoking and hanging out.

I’ve been here several times, for breakfast each time. I’ve been seated fairly quickly each time but, there’s usually at least a 25 minute(or longer) wait for the food. The portions are large which is good, considering the prices. Food pricing is average, while drinks are a bit steep. Nearly $ 4 for a glass of cranberry juice is just a bit much for me. The eggs are always very good and pancakes are decent as well. Homefries are a bit dry and are cooked with green peppers and onions(which is not a detail that is listed on the menu). If you’re into that, maybe you’ll like it but, I’m not. Service is pretty spotty. I’ve had a girl who rang up each item individually(even though we all ordered combos, straight from the menu) and we were charged far more than what we should have. Today our waitress was polite but, noticeably absent. I think the whole breakfast was«hi, what would you like to drink, what would you like to eat, how was it, and a thank you». Ideally, I’d give this place a 3.5 but, I’ve given several chances and am still not seeing an improvement. Not bad, IF you have a lot of time on your hands.

My fiancé and I went there either for a late breakfast or early lunch. We did not decide until we saw the menu. I previously went on Urbanspoon and saw that it had great reviews. The restaurant is very clean and modern looking. I ordered the Bourbon burger and my fiancé ordered a cheeseburger melt w/just lettuce and tomato. We also ordered fried mac&cheese as a appetizer. The mac&cheese was good but not fantastic. We received our burgers a short time afterwards. I noticed my fiancé’s burger had onions on it, so we called over the waitress and pointed it out. She apologized and I heard her tell one of the cooks it was just supposed to be lettuce and tomato. So I held off eating my burger until she got hers back. It seemed like it took forever to get another burger but I am sure it was quicker then it felt. So a different girl dropped off the burger and that was also wrong. It now was missing the lettuce, tomato and the cheese was not melted. Our original waitress came to check on us and we told her what was missing. She apologized again and said she would get the lettuce and tomato. My fiancé was beyond aggravated and did not want to even bother. I asked her to please bring it just in case she changed her mind. While she went to get the lettuce and tomato. I went to eat a fry and a semi long piece of hair came with it. So I lost my appetite by that point. When the waitress came back we told her about finding the hair. She again apologized, and said she would comp us. So I paid the bill of $ 38. and change and still gave her a $ 7.00 tip. I don’t blame waitresses or waiters for a cooks mistake. My only issue is we got $ 3.81 comp. REALLY??? I think we should have gotten my fiancé’s burger taken off the bill at least. The burgers were good beside the point… just be on the lookout for hairs

The restaurant is modern and clean. The server was very good and realized I couldn’t have butter on my toast because I said I had a dairy allergy even though I forgot to ask for dry toast. My Toddler loved his pancake and my omelette was good. Both breakfasts were absolutely huge! Loved the home fries! The reason this got four stars is because I did not get the jalapeños in the omelette like I requested, there is no children’s menu, and a children’s drink alone was $ 1.99.

I’ve only ever ordered breakfast foods here, but I’ve always been so satisfied that I’ve never bothered to venture to other parts of the menu(and as Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson would ask, why would anyone ever eat anything other than breakfast foods?). The pancakes are the size of your head, so even though they’re light and fluffy, you better plan on bringing your eatin’ pants for even a short stack, because you will end up needing help to roll out the door afterward. Waffles are similarly gargantuan and tasty. The home fries are alright, but what I recommend instead is getting your pancakes or waffles with a side of sweet potato fries. Tasty, crispy, salty goodness, and they work well with the maple syrup. Service is friendly, and they’re quick with the coffee refills, especially if you’re sitting at the counter. Stick with breakfast and you can’t go wrong. That’s advice for life in general and B’z specifically.

B’z comes across to me as a slightly refined version of your favorite diner where you can go for burgers or breakfast any time you want. While there is some«beyond» on the menu, you’ll be fine sticking with the breakfasts and burgers, as these are the specialties. I did not have a chance to sample any of the breakfast offerings, but I got to see some of them at nearby tables, Portions are typically generous. That also includes what comes with just about any burger you order; in many cases you get 2 patties. I was quite satisfied to build my own burger, though there are about a dozen tempting specialty burgers. These come out quickly and cooked to order. If you have the ability to unhinge your jaw, you have a much better chance of getting the burger and all the toppings into your mouth for that first bite. Personally, I was not fond of the fries. The portion was generous, and they were nicely peppered and salted. But they were slightly inconsistent(some were slightly underdone, some were too crisp), and they were a bit too greasy for me. I’d say go with the sweet potato fries, which I found to be much better. Before coming to Smithfield, I was not aware of some of the Portuguese influence in the area. This, too, is reflected in their menu. Several burgers include mixes of other ground meats, and the Portuguese burger is delicious. I have to conclude that the people who use the drive-thru at the Dunkin’ next door must be in too much of a hurry. That’s the only reason I can see them not coming here for breakfast.
