Awesome place! Our party had the eggs Benedict on homemade biscuits, a veggie omelet, and their crispy(read: fried!) French toast. Breakfast potatoes were excellent and the homemade jam on each table was delicious. The place fills up and is frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. Prices standard for breakfast fare.

Nice breakfast place close to Sonoma Creek Inn and a just around the corner. Lots of windows and light. Friendly staff coffee refills. Tables are wooden olde style. Food was so so. Omelette was well cooked non-greasy. Potatoes could have been cooked a bit more cooked. Prices are reasonable compared with other bfast places

This is a rough one, because there were a couple good parts, but the bad outweighs. I’ll be interested to see if you agree. Cute place. The personal vibe feels more like a service station than café. They bring the 3.5 foot specials board and set it in front of your table. Really good coffee, served with cream in a wee carafe. Nice. My buddy had the huevos rancheros and suggested I got those next time. If you can’t make a decent huevos in the Springs, get outta town! I ordered from the specials board. I asked for the potatoes to be crispy, and there was hesitation, but he agreed. Potatoes were not crispy, or even cooked all the way through. The toast I ordered came after I had broken my perfectly poached eggs onto the undercooked potatoes. toast was un-buttered and barely warm, yet dry as a croûton. When I visibly looked for butter, the waiter asked, «Butter?» I agreed. Well, when the icy margarine came, there was no chance of it melting on the now cold toast. Ate the eggs from in between the potatoes, and the three sausage patties that were quite gamey(which probably means quality meat) and tough like an overcooked hamburger. I went ahead and consolidated the remainder of the uneaten meal. The waiter asked, «You didn’t like it?» And I told him the potatoes were under and the toast was cold. «Toast was cold?» At this point he laid the back of his palm against the toast on my plate. I said, «Well, too cold for butter to melt.» Then we got the full bill. And then they got no tip. 2nd star for the properly poached eggs/huevos.

Tasty and healthy. Tried their veggie scramble special and was not disappointed. Service was speedy. Café has a cute personality, with different style salt and pepper shakers on each table and local art on display.

Good standard breakfast fare done very well. Potatoes were excellent. Friendly, attentive service in a charming space. Will definitely be back when we’re next in Sonoma

Should be 4.5. Just darn farmers brothers coffee, so I knew I wouldn’t enjoy a morning cup of joe. Bummer! Otherwise the biscuits and gravy may be the best I have ever had, the eggs perfect over medium, the tomato juice really cold and service was super good. If you havnt eaten some breakfast here and it was within driving distance for you. Stop using Unilocal

SERVICESUCKEDFOODOK. Wouldn’t recommend. Went here based on Unilocal reviews. Wanted to get a solid egg breakfast. Seated immediately at a nice little table. The menu was reasonably broad. We chose the special — sausage and eggs. Also split 2 pancakes, coffee. Our waiter was just awful. Honestly a little scary. No smiles he didn’t introduce himself. He took our orders and literally turned and walked away with so much as a «thank you.» He spilled coffee when pouring it, didn’t acknowledge or clean it up. He forgot to bring the fruit plate side. He forgot to bring us butter. He had to take back the sausage because it wasn’t fully cooked. You can imagine how happy he was about that. I’m guessing we ate some spit. It’s too bad. Ruined what otherwise would’ve been a good diner breakfast.

We just had a delicious breakfast at this place. First and foremost, the woman working up front was very friendly and helpful. We ordered french toast(highly recommended!), biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs with chicken apple sausage. My favorite was the french toast. It had walnuts and cinnamon baked in. Soooo good! Everything is make from scratch. Oh! And the coffee was really good too! We don’t live in the area but if we come back up in the morning again this is where we will go!

Wandered in here from our Airbnb for breakfast on a Saturday and couldn’t be happier! The staff is super friendly, the sourdough French toast is like candy(in the best possible way), and the country Benedict special with pork gravy was amazing! It had just the right amount of kick to keep it from being cloying. Highly recommend sitting outside of the weather is nice, and don’t miss the specialty coffees! If I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular!

I thought it was unusual at first that the front door had a sliding door screen as their front door. I’ve realized now, after eating by the window that there were screens on all the windows. The food was absolutely scrumptious. I had he chicken fried steak and my friend had a single(yet large) pancake with two sausages, a sunny side up egg and a small cup of fruit. The fruit was good as was the sausage and pancake. The chicken fried steak was of good size and thick topped with a gravy. He only thing that drove me absolutely bonkers were the constant flies around our table. The windows were covered with screens yet flies, started with one and by the end of our meal it became three, seemed to fly around us, near our food, our glass of water, syrup, on and on and on. By the time we finished, I was eager to scramble out of that place. It was quite bothersome having to fan flies while you’re trying to eat your meal, which was unfortunate because I wanted to enjoy my meal. I think a way to shut the windows or a means of eliminating the flies would be ideal! Don’t think it’s worth coming back.

Great little locals’ spot near Sonoma. Good food and non ripoff prices. Good service too. I wanted to modify my eggs Benedict order and«non problem»! We’ll definitely do a repeat visit here.

The breakfast is delicious. I had the salmon scramble.. Sounds weird, but it tasted awesome. The staff was friendly. It is a casual establishmint that is family friendly.

Great food! Don’t expect amazing service, they are kind enough and do their jobs but could be a bit more cheerful. Regardless I’ve yet to have a bad experience there, it’s kind of grown on me & definitely a favorite among us locals. Great food in a very laid back environment

Delicious food and excellent service in a casual diner environment. I had the French toast(with real maple syrup!) and a side of «Mike’s Favorite»(a delicious combination of potatoes, gravy, and cheese). Both were really excellent. My whole party of five seemed very pleased. I would definitely come back again.

As harsh as it sounds, first impression means the world to me if you’re trying gain a loyal customer. With all the stellar reviews for Creekside Café, I’m disappointed with the service I received at this cute breakfast café joint. Creekside Café has a lot of potential in the breakfast and lunch American type of business. It has that Sonoma down to earth diner charm with a lot of vintage and unique salt and pepper shakers. There’s also delicious fresh homemade jams to spread on some toast while enjoying my belly filling breakfast. How do I feel about the service you ask? I think it’s pure horse sh*t. The owner made an effort to socialize with the other guests, but for some reason, he ignored Brian and my table. We’re literally in front of you– I just don’t get it. The service from the rest of the staff was alright but mostly half assed. The only staff member I liked was this one young lady wearing the number 13 Ross Giants T-Shirt. At least she was assertive and showed wonderful hospitality in our presence. The food on the other hand was fantastic. They make wonderful omelettes and country fried steak, but after the shitty service from 95 percent of the staff in this café, I can’t imagine myself eating here again for enjoyment.

Although it’s a breakfast place, it has lunch stuff on the menu also. And although this was Sunday, the soup of the day was clam chowder. I had that. Delicious: far more clams(and bacon) than potato, rich broth not too thick. This could be a leading entrant in the Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off, and I hope some time it will be.

This place is scary. Not sure how or why it is receiving so many good reviews. Some of the people who work here look like ex-cons. It’s a pretty grungy place. When food is served, it looks institutional… like you are eating in a government cafeteria(or prison)…cheap silverware and plates, condiments served in those little plastic to go cups. Our server was eager, but everything else was downhill. I ordered a rootbeer and got one, but when I asked for a refill, they were out. They were also out of Sprite/7-up and only had Coke left. How do you run out of soda on a Saturday morning? The chicken fried steak was naaaaasty. I think the meat was about to turn. It was so gross. The server seemed to be impressed that I received a large size. In my mind, I think they were trying to get rid of the meat. If you want to have Sandra-Lee-type meal where food is half from cans and the other homemade(not sure which half is worse than the other) dine here. If you want a really good breakfast, go to Community Café.
