Great food-but they dont always have the Napoletana pizza. Been here for times-twice we could only get regular pizza. Maybe train someone how to do it if you cant be here?

I have never had Real Italian style pizza so I can’t compare it to anything, but as far as grading what I tasted OMG this place is Awesome. My favorite pizza is the Carbonara and it comes with an egg yolk on it, whaaaaattt. It’s unbelievable. Sit at the counter to experience the way it’s made and maybe you will get lucky and Pasquale will sling you a piece of prosciutto while you wait. I also had the Arturo. The antipasto is out of this world. This place is A+ and I haven’t tasted a bad dish yet. I’ve been several times while working on a project in RI and plan on coming back again several times. It’s a must stop. Don’t change anything, this place is a gem. One downfall, he needs a bigger place. Too much goodness in this small building but maybe that’s what makes it so unique. My friend had the clam pie and said it was amazing. I also had the mussels. This place rocks.

Very good pizza can once again be had in South County! This pizza has a great tasting crust and is cooked just right. My only complaint is that I thought the place is a bit expensive for being a pizza place. Maybe they have to raise their prices to pay for rent in the Commoms, and for their fancy new pizza oven, but still, its only pizza. Anyway, it is the best around, so I’ll be back.

The best of the best. Fantastic food and service at good prices. Don’t miss this place if you like Italian — it doesn’t get better than this — 5 star.

Excellent pizza. The only negative thing to say is that the dining room is too small to accommodate the throngs of people who want to eat here. The wait is well worth it though!

This is hands down the best pizza I have had in years and years. The ingredients like the ricotta, or the olives, or the meatballs, the broccolirabe, roasted garlic, or peppers… I literally go from each ingredient feeling like I am in the hills around Naples.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, the day before Valentine’s day, we figured we would be able to get in easily and it would be quiet, it was still busy but we got seated quickly. This place is really cute, the service was great, and most importantly the food was fabulous. We used to go to a place that served wood fired pizza across from the Ocean Mist that is now out of business that was also great, this is better and is open year round! I am looking forward to going back and trying out their sandwiches and other items on the menu some time very soon, wish I had tried this place out sooner and that it was a bit bigger!

Amazing place. The team is friendly and on point. I got the wood fired pizza called the Arturo. The dough and arugula were awesome. The cheese was superb. Now the procuitto, that was the crown jewel. Hands down the best I have had. Almost like it was carved from the small of the back of Angels. 4 stars instead of 5 because the TV’S played this damn neverending, fall on the floor screaming in the name of the holy ghost, gospel. All preached by a man that doesn’t know the meaning of giving only receiving the money of the poor for their salvation. Change the channel, and you got 5 stars! Oh, and the canoli’s? Freaking amazeballs! Seriously, try one.

Love this pizza! I crave it all the time. Four stars because it’s pricy, but it certainly is some of the best I’ve ever had. oh! when I picked up my pizzas this week, there were cookies for sale at the counter. Holy Sh*t!!! $ 6 for 3 cookies is kinda crazy, but after trying them, I would’ve paid $ 10. This place is great. I plan to dine in sometime to see what those Neopolitan pizzas are all about.

Went on a Sunday afternoon, mainly for the pizza, after we arrived we found out that we couldn’t order the wood-fired pizza until 4:00PM, we were disappointed, but decided to try a couple of the pasta dishes. Hubs ordered linguine alla vongole, or linguine with clams. He got penne alla vodka. Twice he asked the waitress if what he had was linguine alla vongole, she said yes, and we said nothing further about it. I ordered the spaghetti alla pomodoro, and my pasta was very al dente, almost crunchy, we sent it back and they remade the dish although this time the pasta was starchy, almost like it hadn’t been cooked in enough water. It was not a good experience and we probably won’t return to try the pizza.

This is, hands down, by miles, the best pizza in Rhode Island. You might think, well, that’s hyperbolic. Well, I’ve been living here for eight years — moved from NYC — and trying to find a place that can at least come close to a New York or New Haven pizza. Finally, I feel like I’ve found it. We ordered three pies, and each one exceeded expectations Pasquale Illiano is doing something very serious here. Don’t miss it.

Delicious, truly authentic Italian pizza. Don’t miss this spot if you’re looking for the best pizza in South County(except La Strada in Matunuck. When they re-open this summer, Pasquale’s will have to take 2nd best).

This is the real deal. Pasquale is passionate about making the very best pizza. The wood fired Neapolitan is so flavorful. I can’t wait to return and try more selections from the menu!

I’ve been to Italy about 13 times and with all the pizza I eat, I have never found any that compares to Italian pizza until I ate here. Honestly it could’ve been the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in America. The Arturo is an absolute must, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the pizzas on the menu. I haven’t tried anything other than pizza but I bet it’s all pretty good. The service is fine and it’s cool to watch your pizza go into the oven. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s kind of small and there is usually a wait for dinner – definitely worth it though! Check it out if you’re in the area. It’s the definition of authentic. UPDATE: I’m still obsessed with this place. The traditional grandma pizza is my favorite menu item. And for an appetizer, you can’t go wrong with the arancino.

This is the best pizza in south county though in fairness the competition isn’t that stiff. I had the basic grandma pizza. The crust was top notch, chewy yet delicate. The real star was the marinara sauce, they make an amazing sauce that’s full of flavor and has a zesty kick. There was a sprinkling of mozzarella and while it seemed delicious there was barely any on the pie. I was looking forward to trying their much hyped wood fire Neapolitan pizza but for some byzantine reason that type of pizza isn’t available for takeout.

45 minute wait for table for 4. :-( Calamari was okay… I’ve had much better and certainly a larger portion would have helped Good pizza… good dough… small pizzas for the price. We ordered an app and two pizzas and left a bit hungry. May go back, but it’s not a place for family fare as the portions and prices for pizza don’t warrant frequent visits. Salud!

The pizza is slammin. Just make sure you eat there so you can get the brick oven pizza. It’s done super fast and it’s amazing. Their to go pizza is a little on the pricier side(more expansive than pier pizza in town), so it’s almost not worth it. Definitely not a budget pizza place. Nonetheless, it’s still very good. Also, they have decent beer and wines to choose from.

Well, first review in AGES and I can confidently say this is the best pizza I’ve had in RI so far, up there with Federal Hill Pizza in Warren on the East Bay. We popped in on a Saturday night recently and almost turned around but we lucked out and got a seat at the bar right in front of the wood burning oven. Now I know there has been some chatter about being too close to the oven, but we came on a chilly night and as long as you’re not dressed like an Eskimo, it’s a ton of fun watching the guys behind the counter finesse these beautifully dressed slabs of dough around the oven and watching how quick they cook to perfection. Personally, I’d take a bar seat over a table just for this! The wife and I split the meatball appetizer, which was 4 perfectly crafted meatballs in marinara with a healthy helping of pizza bread fresh out the oven to get your dip on, just like that cheesy R&B song from the 90’s!( ) The main event was truly the pizza. We opted for the Arturo, which is basically my favorite style of traditional Neapolitan pizza; EVOO, the salume of the gods aka prosciutto and a healthy toss of arugula and shaved parmigano reggiano. Just unreal. Perfect crust, perfect proportion of prosciutto, to argula to the cheese and marinara. The sauce has a slight tang to it which was nice. Just an overall awesome pizza. Some other take away’s to note: –Our waitress was a doll and even though it was a packed joint, was great about checking on us. Friendly throughout. –The owner/boss would occasionally take some fresh bread out the oven and pass a bowl of it to all the folks waiting for a table by the door. Nice touch. –Small put impressive beer and wine selection. –In hearing some chatter while I was eating, it sounds like it can get pretty jammed weekend nights so plan accordingly. We stopped in on a Saturday night at 5:30pm and there was already a 15 – 20 minute wait for a table. –They do carry out! If you love love traditional Neapolitan style pizza, you NEED to check out Pasquale’s.
