I came here for my honeymoon from LA. We got here 30 minutes after their opening time, and it wasnt open. Called and they wouldnt answer. No voice message or signs regarding anything. Ugh! Whats their deal?!

Disappointed that their scheduled to close at 9pm, we showed up a few Minutes before 8pm and they were not serving dinner anymore, only drinks. I am not sure how the food is, but the fact they do not serve until their scheduled time is poor business.

Omglob this is a dope little spot with a great view on the beach and AMAZING food! It may look unassuming when you drive up but the Beach House has Fantastic food! The music was chill sing-a-longable oldies like Cash and Ray Charles and the place is set up like a beer garden with little tables right on the beach. We had the mushroom bruschetta and the tri-tip on a beach house burger. Both were so delicious, i had to eat standing at the bar so i could dance with excitement Our bartender, Cameron was adorable and was very informed about the menu items and also said they are under new management since somewhAt recently. Which explaims why they only have 3.5 stars when they’re SUCH a 5 star beachside restaurant. Everything was awesome; I LOVE this joint!

Went back early for the bloody Mary. Spicy and excellent! Came back for lunch an hour later. Amy was our server. Did an excellent job. Mojito was minty; white wines were chilled. Food was served hot. Fries, grilled chicken, and burgers are excellent.

Good spot right on Lakeside Beach. Good atmosphere. Waitress was nice and I received my meal and brew in a timely manner. Little on the expensive side but for the location it’s okay. I ordered the tri tip. I didn’t need a steak knife, it melted in your mouth, three good size slices of juicy redness. It came with flavorful beans, sautéed veggies and a side salad. All delicious. Also, had a side of perfectly fried French fries. Plus Big Blue and the Sunset!!!

We went to Beach House Grill for dinner on Wednesday last week. It was our last dinner in town after a quick getaway from the Bay Area. The ambiance cannot be beat as we were there just as the sunset over the western horizon. They had a musician playing familiar tunes. What I really liked about the location was that it was on a beach in SLT, and that it was far enough from the main strip that you couldn’t seen any of the tall hotel buildings. It felt like a different kind of SLT that was more serene and less touristy. I had a glass of their sangria ale and it was delicious. We tried their pickle fries and though it’s an acquired taste, my wife and son couldn’t get enough. My wife ordered the portabello sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed while my son and I ordered the tri-tip. Both were cooked to medium and were equally as delicious. Our waiter was great and even helped us out with finding a local landmark. I would recommend Beach House Grill.

Great views of Lake Tahoe. Good food but with inconsistent service. After we were seated it took us about 20 minutes for someone to grab our drink orders and food. The manager and staff apologized for the service, but it wasn’t a great start to our dinner. We ordered the Watermelon Salad thinking it would be a great refreshing start, but it felt like it was sitting out too long. The salad was soggy and didn’t taste fresh. The Forest Mushroom Bruschetta was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The winner was the Citrus Chicken Sandwich. The aioli on the bun was outstanding and I would definitely order this item again. If this place was not in the prime location of Tahoe, I probably would not come here. Service was not great, and it seemed like they missed a few key items of the service: not taking drink orders on time, not bringing extra plates until we have finished what we ate, and just missing the ball on a few things.

Best thing about this place is the location. Food was extremely over priced, drinks were appropriately priced. I had the shrimp dinner. $ 24 for 8 pieces of shrimp, grilled veggies, baked beans that were mixed with salsa, roll with no butter. All food was bland, needed lots of salt. There were no bathrooms, you had to use the public restrooms at the beach. I did have the pickled fries, they were the best thing we ate. I was frustrated that for the cost of everything we were sitting on plastic chairs, at plastic tables. The host did find an umbrella for us in the back, but I was surprised that there were none up since it was 5pm and 90 degrees out. Everyone else that came in the restaurant after us tried to use the shade from our one umbrella because there was no other shade.

I have struggled with this review but the more I thought about it there was no way I could go any higher on my rating. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I can’t get past this one. So here we go: The good: location location location. The sole reason we decided to come here was because we wanted dinner on the lake. They nailed that. The pickle fries were unique and very good. The bad: no restrooms for the restaurant leaving you to awkwardly pass by the guard at the beach entry point to explain that you were eating dinner at the restaurant next door and need to use the public restrooms for the people who paid The $ 5.00 entry fee into the beach where you can’t have dogs, alcohol, glass, fireworks, or fun. Upon approach we could see that overhead area of the seating area was partially covered with sun shades. Sadly as the sun moves so does the shade. 5pm dinner reservations 83 degrees and limited shade is a recipe for disaster. Thankfully the host was able to locate one of apparently 4 additional table shades and put it near our table so we could have some shade. Watched the woman next to us order the house made hummus only to be told they were out of it. The business did the right thing by giving her the pickle fries as a substitute for her order on the house. But sadly she had ordered a salad and hummus only to be given a fried platter for four after also being given a basket of fries. The ugly: plastic tables, plastic chairs, plastic table clothes, $ 20+ entrée with only 5 choices. I got the tri-tip with grilled veggies and beans. The meat was flavorless and bland with no sauce and looked sad. The veggies were good minus the eggplant which I have no preference for. The beans were horrible. It seemed as though they emptied a can of beans and mixed in pace picante salsa and called it a day. Booster bread roll with no butter. To cap off the night a $ 100.00 tab for a meal and experience I was unhappy with. I could have spent $ 60.00 at Applebee’s and got better food and left happy. Conclusion: I will never be back.

We made reservations for our party of 16; stopped by in the afternoon to confirm and asked about pre-ordering the meal. They were very accommodating so when we arrived, the parade of food was ready to march. Green salad and french bread, followed by grilled veggies, beans, chicken, tri-tip and shrimp. What a feast! Very attentive service with a beautiful view of the lake. You better go!

Came to Tahoe for the 4th of July weekend and called this place about 2 hours before. They have a private patio setting and the food was GREAT! The view??? Wow! Absolutely beautiful. Will defiantly do this again for the fourth. Beats the crowds everywhere else!!!

This place was nice! Couldn’t beat the view from their patio. Loved their Forest Mushroom Bruschetta, so yummy! My husband and I ordered their Santa Maria Style marinated Tri-Tip. It was very tasty! I ordered some BBQ sauce with it, and their sauce is very good. It came with a house salad, which was ok, grilled veggies(got two large veggies), beans(I substituted them for fries, which were tasty), and fresh bread(I preferred their softer bread that came with the bruschetta). It was good, but for $ 22 we regretted it. I think $ 15 ish would be a better price. They didn’t have a drink menu bc they said the waiters knew all the drinks, but I think it’s easier for the consumer and financially savvier to have a drink menu instead of asking for every drink. Service was super friendly and nice. Well try a different lake side restaurant next time we’re in town, but still a good stop!

Excellent food and perfectly seasoned. The reason for four star is lacking in the drink menu.

Made reservations for Beach House Grill about a month ago. The menu had BBQ ribs, brisket, chicken, and sausages. A few weeks after the reservation was made, the restaurant changed their menus and decided that they will no longer carry BBQ. Very disappointed. There website still advertises the BBQ with pictures of the beautiful smoked meats that the used to make. The phone number on the website is not valid either. I called and left a couple messages and no one ever returned my calls. If you need to reach the restaurant, the number is(530)544−4050.

Beautiful views from this restaurant, they are located right on the beach. Love this seasonal restaurant with their patio only seating, it’s always worth the long winter wait. They are open Labor Day through memorial due to weather, you know the snow :). Tri tip dinner was excellent & so flavorful, it came out of a super hot plate with grilled veggies & amazing beans. We also had the mushroom appetizer which was delicious! And the PICKLEFRIES are heavenly!!! They are a must when you go! Can’t wait to come back & enjoy the sunset views! And the kids love playing on the playground on the beach. They even have their Togo beachside window open :)

I gave this place two stars because it is only the second day they’ve been open. Problem one Unilocal has them as a bbq spot but this is not correct. I got the tri tip $ 22. It was barely warm. Sent it back it came back a bit warmer. It seamed like it was just warmed up in the microwave. The waitress assured me they did not use microwaves. Problem two they put the warm meat on a cold plate. Three the ranch beans had a good taste but again they were at mouth temperature. Although The bread was the best part of the meal. I’m super bummed this is no longer a bbq place. Even though the receipt I got says bbq on it. The waitress did comp my tri tip but I’ve so disappointed. I wanted bbq but liked the location so the wife and I stayed. On another good note the wife had a wedge salad subtracting some ingredients and they got that one perfect. All in all… Check the place out at the door and give these folks a chance but spend a moment looking at the menu before you sit down. The location has potential!!!

We stumbled on the Beach House, drawn in by the Pulled Pork Sandwich on the sign board outside. We enjoyed our meal so much we brought our friends back the next night. Party of 22, 10 adults ands kids raging from 3 to 15. The service was attentive. The Patio is casual and offers great views of the lake. The BBQ — fantastic! Two orders of the Texas Platter was more than enough brisket, rubs and Chicken to satisfy everyone and leave enough for a few sandwiches the next day. The sides satisfied all — salads to fries, beans and slaw. We will be back — I haven’t had a better meal along the shores of Lake Tahoe.
