Worst customer service I have received in a very long time. Was there Saturday 2⁄19 at 2PM. It took about 25 minutes for them to take my order(I was third in line) which is fine, it’s touristy. My order was written down wrong, and I tried to tell the barista before she made it. I got MAJOR attitude from her and she begrudgingly started making what I had ordered in the first place. It was still a little off, so I just asked for a little more Carmel. She basically gave me a dirty look and said in a minute. I had now been at there for over a half hour for a «quick coffee». She finally came over and squirted like a half bottle of Carmel into my drink, to the point where I couldn’t even drink it through my straw. I didn’t mind the longest Starbucks wait ever(I used to work there I know how it is) but the rudeness and unprofessionalism was unacceptable. This is by far the worst Starbucks location I have ever been to. Just go to the ones in Harvey’s and Harrahs if you need your fix.

Ok variety and service. But lines are really slow and understaffed. They have wine/spirits in evenings.

Awesome place. Service was fantastic. We had three appetizers and a piece of pumpkin bread.

I was up in South Lake Tahoe hanging out with a friend and doing some shopping when we stopped in here. This is the Starbucks in the Heavenly Village Shopping area. After a couple of hours of walking and shopping, yeah, we walked all the way from the new Hard Rock parking lot, it was time to sit down for a bit. Starbucks fits the bill right here. I think prices are slightly higher than the regular Starbucks locations, but then I might be wrong, but it seemed like it. It was pretty crowded, I think it’s always that way at this location. But the line wasn’t too bad. Actually, I sat and saved a seat while my friend waited in line. Just regular house coffee for me. It was standard Starbucks in a paper cup. The WiFi worked fine, so I was able to check my e-mail and Unilocal!Nothing wrong with this store and it’s convenient for the shopping area. Mostly it might be the crows and lines that are the main concern, cause this location is super popular all year round. I’ll return if I’m in the area.

The WAIT!!! Long line, being addressed by 1 cashier. 1 barista making drinks. 1 warming up pastries and 1 basically standing there not helping. So brutal. I usually credit Starbucks for their swiftness to get customers in and out. Pretty basic: more customers served = More profit. I could see how this location MAY be slower than most spring through summer, but come on! It’s the first big snow season in a 5 year drought. Management needs to pull there head out of their you know what. You’ve set these employees up for disaster.

I love Starbucks! I usually visit my neighborhood shop a couple times week! Because«my shop» is near a lot of business offices, traffic is very, very heavy. Even though the line often winds out the door, it moves really fast and I am in and out in 5 – 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the Starbucks attached to the Marriott Grand Resident resort, just could not handle a small amount of customers efficiently. I waited 10+ minutes and the line had not moved. Hiring a few more employees, would greatly improve this particular shop’s service!

My god. The line here is ridiculous and the space for that ridiculous line is so small and cramped by the door. Save yourself and just go to the Peet’s inside Raley’s.

I waited 12 minutes for a latte, and watched the crew make countless drinks for people who ordered well after me before they bothered to make mine. There were 10 people waiting for their drinks at the same time I was waiting, too.

I went 2 days ago and order a hot chocolate and taste like water I don’t want to go back and ask for other because it was a huge line, and to be honest every time I go there consistency is not the same. Every time taste different

The drink taste exactly as they at any other Starbucks. However, this is a very busy location with a wait in line for at least 15 mins with additional 15 mins to get your drink. Given that this is a located right next to Marriott, it is easier to just walk down in from your room and grab a cup of hot drink of your choice. The Staff wasn’t that friendly at this location. I went to this Starbucks three times over my weekend stay and at the busiest times there were only max 4 people working here.

Ugh! So I came here on the 4th of October. Hold & behold, the line was insanely long… And why? Expresso machine wasn’t working, so a lot of customer took more time deciding what to get than anything with the word«Expresso», and with one cash register open, like really know… Thats terrible! Not a male barista in sight! All females, why? And to top it off, there was about 3 barista making drinks, and 1 barista cleaning the store, and 1 barista at the cashier… Well this is awkward, during peak hours, I think management needs to fix this! Especially on a weekend, there needs to be 2 cash registers open at all times, 4 making drinks, and 1 person cleaning around the store! It was a full house when I came here around noon time! Keyword: TOURISTS… Means, there should be enough Baristas to compensate the demand of thirsty customers like me to be met in a timely manner. Namm sayinn… Think about the stress that the baristas are going through, shuffling orders, making sure each order is accurate. And my wait time for my venti drink was approx 15min or so, maybe longer. Because lots of people where waiting for their drinks too, and it felt as if time was so slow that it felt longer than unusual for my name to be called. Note: If a machine is not working to make a «Specific drink», put a sign at the front door and let incoming customers know what CANTBEORDERED! And announce every 20min or so just incase, so people will know ahead of time what can’t be ordered while falling in line rather than deciding on spot to hold up the line even further! Every precious minutes count.

Professional staff and a great location, the only drawback is it stays pretty busy, which slows down their service a little. We waited maybe five minutes for a latte, so not bad just a heads up if youre in a rush!

I would’ve expected this Starbucks to have more baristas during the weekends and at peak hours just because Tahoe is a tourist destination and they should know when a surge of customers would come. Went in today to find myself in a long line with only three baristas trying to serve everyone. Average waiting time was about 10 – 15 min just to get to the register and another 10 – 15 min to get your order. It’s also ridiculous how the prices here are higher. If you expect to hike the prices, at least hike your customer service as well.

Soooooo small. Claustrophobic small. Customer service seems to be high and they are trying hard to keep up with the crowds but it gets packed. A summer afternoon and the line was out the door. I ordered a drink and my wife presented her Satrbucks venti tumbler and asked for water. The snarky customer services agent said«This is really old. Really old.» I wanted to scream«I believe the term is vintage and well cared for.» Rude. Not needed commentary to darker the mood. After waiting for quite awhile, drinks in hand, we still had to maneuver through the crowd to get out of the store. This location will do in a pinch, but if you have another option, chose that.

Friendly service but slow :-( As others have mentioned in their reviews, this location is slow. Stopped by recently on a Monday late morning and ordered a cold brewed iced coffee, caramel frappucino, strawberry smoothie, and vanilla bean frappucino. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was told they were out of the cold brew. I told them to just sub it for a normal iced coffee even thought I had paid the small premium for«cold brew». The strawberry smoothie was incorrectly made as their strawberries and crème and had to be remade. All in all, waited about 15 – 20 minutes for my drinks. No complaints on the quality of the drinks. They were consistent with other Starbucks. They may need to hire more people, revisit training, and/or look at inefficiencies in the operation.

It was a very long line when we decided to stop earlier today, but that’s okay… The cashiers were very nice and friendly. They know you waited for a long time and it helps that they made it easy and efficient for you when you make your order. It’s nice to come to your favorite coffee spot and you get great service. They need to clean up a little bit more though. Since line was not getting any shorter and customers are in and out, no one has time to clean up. They probably need an extra hand. Not sure if this line is like this all day long or everyday. If it is, I do hope management thinks about getting extra help. Service and coffee-5 stars Cleanliness-3 stars

Well, I can complain about their work flow, but that can be almost every other starbucks. But I will focus on the good. The staff members I dealt with were friendly and fast. We ordered 4 the turkey bacon and egg white breakfast sandwiches, but they were out and informed us right away. Brian(and any other person that appears to be working to make drinks on their own) was on point and kept in moving. Put that in perspective in a starbucks that is right at the base of a resort.

Simple Review: Always a line, always a line. One register opened with two available. Expect a 10+ minute wait to order every single time you come in this Starbucks. Local recommendation: Go to the Peet’s coffee in Raley’s. The service is slow there too because it’s combined with the deli, but not bad if you catch a short line.

Take this review for what it is worth, but I worked at Starbucks for one year in college and was truly bummed out by this one. I got coffee here at least once a day for the 5 days I was in Tahoe. At first the service was okay, but generally speaking it seemed like the place was dead when we got this okay service. However, if this place is busy, avoid it like the plague. There is at least one other Starbucks in the Heavenly village and I would try to go to that one. My worst experience was the last time I went. «Breezy» was the person behind the counter helping us. She seemed uninterested in her job and making sure we were adequately helped. I had to repeat our order to her,(3) drinks, 2 coffees and one latte, several times. She seemed really out of it. She was incredibly slow and didn’t seem to mind that there was a massive line building behind us. I had the Clove pressed coffee each time I went and it was pretty good, but the barista’s took forever to make it each time we went. People that order latte based drinks after us were getting their drinks before us. I am really bummed by the last few experiences at this Starbucks and would suggest you avoid this place especially if they are busy.

The employees here are NOT in any way shape or form friendly. Not at all!!! With that said, I ordered a Java Chip Frapp. What I got was some watered down chocolate milk. They did not even put the standard choc syrup on the whipped cream. And forget the coffee flavor, there was absolutely none. It didn’t even really have that much flavor. I will not go back here when in town. I noticed they weren’t friendly to any other customers either, so it wasn’t just me
