Great service but horrible Benedict. Not at all what was pictured or shown on hotel tv. Imitation avocado, gross hash browns, $ 13 for that plate… Not worth it.

The prices are reasons for Tahoe. My wife and I both had the skillets and they were wonderful. Highly recommended. There were only two servers helping but they were efficient. I can see if there are a lot of people, things may get slow.

What a disappointment. No view, slow service, bad and microwaved food and still have to pay for parking! Don’t bother coming here.

Super reasonable pricing. Nice views probably best to see the skiers in the winter. Simple easy breakfast with a daily special. Only open 8 – 11. Fast service

Located in the Tahoe Seasons Resorts. Wasn’t very crowded when we were there for breakfast. It was just ok. The portions were a decent size. I guess they are only open for breakfast and lunch. We went there because that is where we were staying. July 4 was very crowded and didn’t feel like sitting in traffic to eat breakfast, otherwise we would have eaten somewhere else. The food wasn’t bad but I have had better.

Most affordable food around. Nice café if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Very friendly.

I’ve never actually been here yet. I called to ask about Sunday champagne brunch and even though they don’t offer it, the receptionist/reservationists went out of her way to try and help me find a restaurant that did. Great staff! Thank you!

I am really sorry but, I just gave star for view. It was really bad breakfast, coffee cup was broken with bread full butter and coffee was dropping. Breakfast was really bad, burned sausage and weird omlet. I really liked the atmosphere I wished they had better service, and better service then when we eat we can enjoy the view. And they have to change the decoration, it doesn’t look clean…

The food portions were large; the potatoes looked perfect, but they were so salty I couldn’t eat them. Valet parking is mandatory. My car smelled so bad after it was returned to me, I had to roll down the windows on this very cold morning so I could breath. The valet drivers should be required to have good hygiene,

Fast service and good portion sizes. The staff was helpful and the food can fill you up for the long day ahead of you at Tahoe.

Off the beaten path a bit … Went with the Fam to check this place out. Great kids menu. Adults menu was pretty good too. Loved that they had a breakfast cocktails list! Actual meal was a 5.5÷6 out of 10. One thing we loved was the free valet parking– esp since this café is inside a hotel!

We took a chance and got away from the action downtown S. Tahoe. We were not disappointed. The service was prompt, breakfast was delicious. We had omelets and pancakes. Good stuff! Would definitely recommend.

Errr… heavenly view? Nope. Basic roadhouse menu. Nice but slow service. Good food for middle of the road prices. Service staff was very friendly but very slow. They may have been understaffed. We came here because of the high Unilocal ratings. Don’t agree. Okay for a meal if you aren’t in a hurry and are on a tight budget.

Food and service are top notch. Glad I found this place. It is so close to my house. Kayla was especially wonderful and helped my wife narrow down what to order. She picked a winner with the eggs benedict. If you are near Heavenly’s Cal Lodge, stop in for a great breakfast. Why wait an hour at the other places? Tahoe’s hidden gem. Coffee by Alpen Sierra? YESPLEASE

Breakfast was good. Coffee was a bit cold. It was a slow Wednesday morn. Service could of been a bit more attentive for such a empty room. Only 3 tables busy. Eggs Benny was delish. View was spectacular. Watched the snow fall while drinking my cool coffee. Valet parking only if not staying in hotel.

Excellent food and excellent service. One of the best breakfast places in town. It’s funny, as a local, I didn’t know the café served food to people who weren’t staying at the Tahoe Seasons. But someone told me to check them out, and I’m really glad I did. The menu is large and diverse. Quite often they have daily breakfast specials. I had a breakfast Reuben(never thought about that combo) and it was fantastic! Alpen Sierra coffee too! Heavenly View Café is now on my radar for one of the best breakfast places in town. Definitely worth checking out. Directly across the street from the California Lodge at Heavenly.

01.12.13 This is NOT a place for a quick bite before the mountain. We learned that the hard way, as the entire meal from sit down to stand up was over an hour. This IS, however, a good place to get a hearty, delicious breakfast. I split the Denver omelet with waffles, and it was just right. Imagine eating the entire thing…
